Kris's First Investigation (C-rank Mission)

It was pure luck even that Kris had the right target. Her clone was the one protecting, and she couldn't replace with the clone again, and with her clones unable to use jutsu it only made sense to give the clone a weapon. The clone caught the crystal shuriken and held it ready through the gap in the centre. Stabbing it in to the ground she created a protective barrier just as the explosives detonated, able to protect the Nurse and passed out woman. Kris was stuck in the genjutsu, getting out of it right now still didn't seem possible, but she could still do things it seemed. And with the literal disarming of the assassin, she had a good target to go for. Flexing her crystals once again, she created another Giant Shuriken and threw it once more towards the now armless mass hoping to finish it off.

Sadly enough, it only took one hand in order to use the substitution technique. As soon as the shuriken hit the mysterious assailant, he would basically explode into the water as if it hit him square on enough to kill him. Though, it seemed like the hit confirmed with the splatter of the blood, or liquid in this vase, within the shadow of the fog. Not to forget, Kris had to kai out for her hearing back, and she also had to get rid of the stationary fog somehow. She got lucky, but it wasn't to be confused with being able to see.

Either way, while under the impression that the giant shuriken turned the assailant into a splatter until further investigation, the man would make his getaway.

Kris wasn't sure what even happened then, her shuriken hit the mark but the noises was like she hit water. "...There's nothing here," Her clone would call out as the mass in front of her vanished. As such, Kris turned the crystals of her hand out and in to the opposite, causing her to hurt herself to shatter the connection and in turn breaking the genjutsu. Seeing the assailant gone, she would cause her clone to vanish, and the crystal shield shattering as she herself rushed over to the nurse. "They're gone," Looking over she saw the removed arm, "And at least partially 'armless," She couldn't resist a little joke,
