| Trust Cherish to pick one of the most cliche times for a spar, Summer thought to herself as she walked into the courtyard of Dipugakure's northern island to wait for her best friend. She was quite a bit early but that was probably to be expected now, after being late so many times when she was younger she had finally bucked up her ideas and was now early to everything... Not to mention she needed to make a bit of an example due to being a Sannin. She looked around for a few moments, narrowing her eyes before she chuckled quietly and shook her head. "High noon, honestly Cherish?" She murmured before walking towards one end of the courtyard, the one that was currently in shadow and sat down.
Reaching up she flicked away her cloak so that she could draw all seven of her swords. Glimmer was rammed down directly in front of her, flanked on the left by Vexos and the right by her Crystal Nagamaki, something that her long-dead sensei had created for her years ago. Summer bit down on her lip for a few seconds before she stabbed the rest of her swords down around her in a circle and she sat cross-legged among them, just close enough that her foot was brushing Vexos and giving her the sensory aura. She then took off the usual thicker eyepatch that she wore and tossed it aside, replacing it by tilting her forehead protector down to hide her right eye. The scarf around her neck came up next to hide her cheeks, mouth and nose, leaving only a single gleaming pink eye, lacking a pupil, and her long pink hair showing. Reaching into her pocket, she took out a small scythe earring and put it in her right ear and then closed her eye, ready for what was to come. Hopefully Cherish would be on time... *********************** ~A message to all~ I am always available to help if you need it! | Cherish had woken up somewhat early, having been tending to the plants in her greenhouse, over the years it had truly blossomed as she had extended her garden to encompass not only the roof but had a couple of trees planted around the house. It really helped when she needed certain plant based materials for her techniques and had been the reason she wanted a house with a rooftop garden in the first place. Either way once she was done watering them and harvesting whatever fruit they had grown for her she went down took a shower and promptly geared up. She had changed quite a bit both physically and mentally and though she was still shorter than her younger teammate there was no mistaking her for a child anymore. She was wearing her usual outfit one that she had started wearing back when she was a Chunin and hadn't really seen fit to change it through the years if only because it fit. Sure sometimes she bought copies of it in a larger size, over all she looked the same.
She would finish gearing up with her scrolls and gourd before heading downstairs while lighting a cigarette knowing that she was probably the last one leaving the house. Summer had changed her habit of being late early on and Omito was rarely home either doing missions as a Hunter-Nin or skulking around, still it was rare for them all to be in the same place at once especially since she herself had her medical duties throughout the village. As she walked she thought to herself how the spar would go, she had fallen somewhat behind her teammate though it was mainly because she spent to much time training on her own and in the hospital instead of doing missions. But now Summer was a Sannin, and Omito despite still being a Hunter-Nin probably would be making the move to S-class soon. She needed to test herself, no not that she needed to prove herself worthy of being by Summer's side as her packmate clearly knew what she wanted to be in the future.
Thus when she stepped into the courtyard she would smirk, taking another drag from her cigarette when she saw Summer sitting in the middle of her swords and then speak. "You know, when I said I wanted to spar I meant on one of those abandoned islands outside of the village. That way I won't feel as bad if we tore everything up. But I mean this is fine too, I pity the poor squad that'll have to clean this up later though girlie." Cherish said rolling her shoulders as her Bake massaged them in anticipation for the coming fight. She would stop a distance away about 50 ft this time, as Summer had this habit of starting ever so quickly probably stemming from the previous spars where she'd quickly disappear underground instead of trying to fight "fair". *********************** | |

| "It's more fun in locations like this, I get to look serene and hide in some shade, on one of the islands there wouldn't have been enough trees to hide me from the noon sun. Seriously though, Cherish, noon? Of all times." Summer shook her head and rolled her eye before getting to her feet. "As for ruining this place, it'll be good practice for the Academy Students and Genin practicing Earth Release to get it all back into place. Teach them about mass scale movements and fine placement." Summer rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck, she had no Bake to help her out with that sort of thing. "There I go again, acting like a teacher, jeez after getting a genin squad it's all I've been doing. This spar should help me clear my mind, I don't need to tone my stuff down to fight against you because I know you're strong Cherish." She reached down and picked up her swords one by one, slotting them into her sheaths, starting with the normal swords, then to the Crystal sword and finally Vexos. When she picked up Glimmer she paused and pointed it towards Cherish. "It's been... Six years now hasn't it? I remember when we first met, clear as day... You got drunk, we fell in a hole and you bloody well kissed me." She laughed loudly and spun Glimmer, sliding a cover onto the blade before sheathing it. With that done she tightened the straps on Inui, hearing them whisper to one another about the fight to come, giggling quietly about the fact she got kissed when she was so young. "We're a lot different now, aren't we? Still the best of friends though." She smiled and stepped forwards, stopping at forty feet away from Cherish and crouching slightly, a quick handseal performed as she put her hand to the ground. "Quite... Quite different now..." She whispered to herself, two puffs appeared and a raven stood on each of Summer's shoulders, clutching her and watching Cherish. The one on her right shoulder was Jokaero, a slight cocky bob to his position and with two blue lines under each eye. The other was Craiss who immediately cawed. "COME! LET US SMITE THE F- Oh! Cherish! Didn't realise this was a spar!" He declared, cocking his head to the side, jagged red marks running up the feathers over the top of his head. - Summer:
Name: Summoning Technique Classification: Fuinjutsu Rank: N/A Class: Supplementary Range:Short
Description: The Summoning Technique is a space–time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances instantly. Before an animal summoning can be performed, a prospective summoner must first sign a contract with a given species. The contract comes in the form of a scroll, on which the contractor uses their own blood to sign their name and place their fingerprints and once signed is valid even after the contractors death. After this they need only offer an additional donation of blood on the hand they signed the contract with, mold their chakra with hand seals and then plant the hand they signed the contract with at the location they wish to summon the creature.
- Ravens:
Name: Raven Chick Classification: Taijutsu Rank: D-Rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: The Ravens are naturally perceptive when it comes to viewing the battlefield and spotting small mistakes and errors in their surroundings, of course the chicks have only just started mastering this skill. So due to such they have First Reaction tiers to allow them to see through stealth. In addition to this, like all of the Crow Contracts summons they require strength to be able to use their wings, giving them Beast's Strength tiers to enable them to fly properly. Ravens however are known for knowledge and wisdom and being able to see the truth of someone. This is showcased in a Raven's ability to see through to a person's soul, the details that can be acquired through this depends on the age of the Raven. Chicks are only able to see the race of the person viewed; human, nova, zireh, and what their primary element is if they have one, requiring C-Rank or higher soul concealment to block.

| "Six years huh, it's been a really long time. Perhaps after this we can get drunk together again. Hehe, if I win your going to have to drink some Palm Wine this time" Cherish said twirling around while sinking into the ground. She would be almost completely under just as the summons decided to emerge and sit on Summer's shoulders. Eh girlie aren't these ones a bit to little to be around us, not that I'd try to hurt them or anything it's just... she said through the pack bond while she made a Ram hand seal causing her cheeks to puff up underground. From the ground the terrain itself would change as copious amounts of water would burst upward and spread quickly flooding the area, as that happened within the water another tide would flow upwards this time being comprised of thick syrup mixing in with the alcoholic water which came first to further increase the flooding of the courtyard. "There's kind of a lot of collateral damage when I cut loose...Her Bake had not remained idle as it too twirled around and would crouch before kicking off the ground as the water emerged causing her to quickly accelerate far quicker than she was capable normally. While within the alcoholic water she was getting intoxicated and if Summer had ended up getting swept up in the tide then she would swim around her making a large arc so that she was no closer than 35 ft from her something mimicked by the original underground as both of them knew keeping their distance was key to winning this spar. Her Bake would stop when she had essentially put Summer in between Cherish and herself and would proceed to make hand seals while invisible to the naked eye. Cherish - Spoiler:
Cherish has: Very High Water Affinity (Brings Water Dragon Bullet to 11 Hand Seals) Modification Sealing Method: Reduction Lvl 5 (Brings Water Dragon Bullet to 6 Hand Seals) Preformed at Teeter Dance 5th Step (Lowers P.T Delay by 5 P.T) Total Activation Lag = N/A Hand Seal String used to trigger: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave (In-Battle Training 100 WC Req. Obtained) = S (B) + S Chakra Price = 200 ft radius (400 ft diameter of water bursts up from underground) Drunken Starch Syrup Capture Field = 100 ft (Increases diameter of water to 500 ft)
Name: Teeter Dance (Signature) Classification: Taijutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: Cherish unique style of movement having noticed that most people do not bother to create their own movement style instead attempting to mimic or copy the Samurai's swift release. Rather that focusing on using her chakra to boost her movement speed Cherish instead limbers up her body and spins around in order to make her slightly dizzy. This dizziness causes her to seem to stumble about however as she catches herself and regains her balance she speeds up quickly moving at D-rank speeds. Depending on the amount of times she is able to spin the dizzy effect lasts for a certain duration allowing her to utilize Teeter Dance and it's advanced variations. Depending on her rank the number of times she spins can either not affect her in combat or can actually hamper her reaction speed. When the duration runs out she has to redo the spin(s) to trigger the dizziness again. Spin(s) - Duration (Posts Total) - Rank Req. Not to Hamper Reaction Spd. 1 - 5 - D 2 - 10 - C 3 - 15 - B 4 - 20 - A 5 - 25 - S
Name: Silent Burial (Exclusive) Classification: Taijutsu Rank: C-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self, Short (Distance from Surface)
Description: Req. Underwater or Underground Movement Technique. Cherish's version of Silent Killing which involves the use of the environment to her advantage, she holds her breath before diving underwater or underground allowing her to attack undetected by those without X-ray vision something which only a select few dojutsu possess or a Vibration Sensory Technique C-rank or above. Depending on her skill level the number of posts (total) she can hold her breath before needing to resurface increases and while swimming she gives off absolutely no sound so as to minimize detection. Cherish is skilled in the application of this technique that she is capable of utilizing hand seals underground allowing her to utilize Earth Release techniques without surfacing if Underground, Water Release techniques without surfacing if Underwater, Earth/Water or Nature Release techniques if Underwater/Underground respectively in the case of the former while both in case of the later at set distance from the surface. This was made precisely to protect herself from having her hand seals interrupted as she has a teammate who showed exactly how vulnerable Cherish could be against an Iaido user. Rank - Held Breath - Endurance Modifier - Distance from Surface in ft (Earth/Water/Nature) None - N/A - +1 - 3 D - 2 - +5 - 6 C - 4 - +10 - 9 B - 6 - +15 - 12 A - 8 - +20 - 15 S - 10 - +25 - 18
Name: Teeter Dance - 5th Step Classification: Taijutsu Rank: S-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: The fifth level of Teeter Dance which is faster than the previous allowing Cherish to move at S-rank speeds while seeming to have no balance stumbling about and what not. This technique is capable of being used in place of strength tiers to avoid knockback inflicted by techniques S-rank and below. This is due to Cherish having a decent grasp of her own balance preventing her from simply stumbling or falling over when opponents attempt to knock her off her feet.
Name: Hand Seal String: Water Dragon Bullet (Exclusive) Classification: Taijutsu Rank: SS Class: Offensive Range: All (Depends on the type used)
Description: The user makes a very long string of hand seals (Ox → Monkey → Hare → Rat → Boar → Bird → Ox → Horse → Bird → Rat → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Ox → Ram → Snake → Boar → Ram → Rat → Jin (Req. Yang Release) → Monkey → Bird → Dragon → Bird → Ox → Horse → Ram → Tiger → Snake → Rat → Monkey → Hare → Boar → Dragon → Ram → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Bird → Jin → Rat → Boar → Bird) with every 4 Hand Seals resulting in an activation lag of 1 P.T, and every rank of speed this technique is preformed at lowering that activation lag by 1 P.T. As a result when preformed by an individual using no speed tiers this technique takes 11 P.T to finish the hand seals necessary to then preform the Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet on the 12th post (total). During the original use of this technique forty-four hand seals were used to perform it; one of the highest amount of hand seals necessary to use a technique at it's time of creation. However, through time due to refinement of the technique a lot were found to be unnessasy and thus were removed with implication that the exact number of seals required isn't fixed. This was an error as the reason each of these hand seals were preformed was for a specific reason, only a true master of water release ninjutsu could hope to master this technique as with a High Affinity the number of seals required could be halved down to 22 (Ox → Monkey → Hare → Rat → Boar → Bird → Ox → Horse → Bird → Rat → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Ox → Ram → Snake → Boar → Ram → Rat → Jin), with a Very High Water Affinity it could be Quartered down to 11 (Ox → Monkey → Hare → Rat → Boar → Bird → Ox → Horse → Ram → Tiger → Snake), & finally with if an individual was "Z"-rank or higher they could lower the amount of hand seals required to preform this technique by 1 resulting in just 10 (Ox → Horse → Ram → Tiger → Snake → Rat → Monkey → Hare → Boar → Dragon). Cherish was lucky enough to inherit this technique in it's original form from her Nee-san after her passing, to that end it was rare to find a technique which hadn't been "improved" over the years.
This is because every seal had a purpose what the originator of this technique did was to create a string of hand seals which concealed the very nature of what they were doing, within each seal using Ox as an initiator was the key for severeal Water Dragon specific techniques each requiring the user to have mastered them before they were able to preform them from using only the Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet. These Water Release techniques are: 1. Water Colliding Wave (Ox → Monkey → Bird → Rat → Boar → Bird), when preformed normally it ends in either a Hand Clap or the Snake/Ox/Ram Hand Seal. 2. Water Formation Wall (Ox → Monkey → Hare → Rat → Boar → Bird), when preformed normally it ends in either the Tiger, Ox or Jin Hand Seal. 3. Water Dragon Whip (Ox → Horse → Bird → Rat → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake), when preformed normally it ends in either the Ox/Tiger Hand Seal or a Hand Clap/Clench. 4. Water Dragon Whirlpool Technique (Ox → Ram → Snake → Boar → Ram → Rat → Monkey → Bird → Dragon → Bird), when preformed normally it ends in either a Palm Slam, Hand Clap or the Ox hand seal. 5. Explosive Bite of the Water Dragon (Ox → Horse → Ram → Tiger → Snake → Rat → Monkey → Hare → Boar → Dragon → Ram → Rat) when preformed normally it ends in either a Hand Clench or the Ox/Jin Hand Seal. Through In-Battle Training however the user is able to affix variants of the techniques depending on which hand seal they use to end the technique. *Water Colliding Wave (100 Words for Each) Hand Clap = Base Technique Snake = Exploding Water Colliding Wave Ox = Drunken Exploding Water Colliding Wave Ram = Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave *Water Formation Wall (200 Words for Each) Tiger = Base Technique Ox = Water Formation Pillar Jin = Drunken Formation Wall *Water Dragon Whip (400 Words for Each) Ox = Base Technique Tiger = Water Fang Bullet Hand Clap - Water Severing Wave Hand Clench - Drunken Syrup Dragon Whip *Water Dragon Whirlpool (600 Words for Each) Palm Slam = Base Technique Hand Clap = Drunken Syrup Dragon Whirlpool Ox = Heavenly Weeping *Explosive Bite of the Water Dragon (800 Words for Each) Hand Clench = Base Technique Ox = Serial Biting Explosions of Water Dragons Jin = Explosive Bite of the Drunken Syrup Dragon
Name: Water Release: Great Drunken Exploding Water Colliding Wave Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank (Chakra & Sake Price Varies) Class: Supplementary/Offensive Range: AOE
Description: This technique is a larger version of the Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave and is formed once the user makes handseal before clapping their hands together. With it, the user spews out a massive amount of water which spew forth at Vacuum release speeds, covering an entire area with crushing, unavoidable waves causing victims who are unable to lock themselves in place with A-rank strength tiers to be carried along with the incoming water being dealt -15 from their Drunk limit but if they are submerged underneath it they continue to sustain -3 each post (total). The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speeds of Vacuum Release, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks depending on the amount of water used. The amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used; when used with large amounts of chakra it is possible for the user to create copious amounts of water to flood the area, regardless however it still moves at the same speed regardless of the amount of chakra put into it. Cherish's use of this technique replaces the Ram seal used to converge it into a dome at the end with a Dog hand seal in order to allow the technique to flow, and thus upon clapping her hands to initiate the technique she can move them into the Ox handseal holding it to continue to spew water from her mouth for an additional B-rank chakra cost each post (total). This is done not only to flood the entire expanse with even more gallons of water but to keep those swept off their feet underwater unable to surface until Cherish cuts the flow to the technique, they drown (within 5 posts not accounting for additional ranks of endurance, A-rank breath holding technique needed due to churning of water) or are rescued. Chakra & Sake Used - Area of Effect (ft radius) - Amount of Sake Water Produced B & B - 120 - 2 B-ranks (1 A-rank) A & A - 160 - 4 B-ranks (2 A-ranks or 1 S-rank) S & S - 200 - 8 B-ranks (4 A-ranks, 2 S-ranks or 1 SS-rank) Posts Total - Additional Chakra Price - Sake Water Produced Each Post 1 - Normal Price - Normal Amount 2 - +B - Normal Amount x2 3 - +A (2 B) - Normal Amount x3 4 - +S (3 B) - Normal Amount x4 5 - +4 B - Normal Amount x5 6 - +5 B - Normal Amount x6 7 - +SS (6 B) - Normal Amount x7
Name: Water Release: Drunken Starch Syrup Capture Field Classification: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank (Chakra Price Varies + C-rank Sake) Class: Supplementary Range: Long
Description: After taking a sip from her gourd Cherish spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused sake water, aimed at a surface of wide scope of 60 feet filling the area at Crashing Ground speeds. This is a stream of sticky flammable liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield with the liquid eventually receding into the ground after 20 posts (total) in normal humidity, 10 posts (total) in dry or intensely hot conditions and 40 posts (total) in humid or rainy conditions. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few meters, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channeling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand. Unlike the original technique this technique is meant for even more lethal set ups as due to the sake mixed in it can be set ablaze by a fire technique acting like a napalm like accelerant to deal constant Fire Release damage equal to 1-rank below the fire technique each post (total) until the syrup recedes the ground. The syrup (even while ablaze) can be manipulated later on for use as a source of water for other water techniques. Chakra Used - Size of Capture Field- Amount of Flammable Syrup Produced C - 40 - 1 C-rank B - 60 - 2 C-ranks (1 B-rank) A - 80 - 4 C-ranks (2 B-ranks or 1 A-rank) S - 100 - 6 C-ranks (4 B-ranks, 2 A-ranks or 1 S-rank)
Name: Earth Release: Underground Projection Orca Technique Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: SS-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: The advanced version of the Underground Projection Shark Technique, a suberb earth release nintajutsu technique specialized in subterranean combat with the ground simply softening immensely the user slipping into the ground using their speed tiers in order to initiate this technique. This technique is used for sneaking and striking silently, like a orca underwater, and then suddenly appearing to the ground's surface making it a formidable underground movement technique. While moving through the ground only those with either X-ray vision, a SS-rank or higher vibration sensory technique can detect the user while those who can't require Reaction Tiers equal to her movement speed to dodge her taijutsu techniques. Furthermore, it's even more efficient when employed in a crowded area that, if the target notices something, can be overrun by the nearby masses, or with distractions like a Clone Technique to draw the enemy's attention negating the effect of, X-ray vision, muscle tension & time-slowing dojutsu as aids in dodging. When utilized in combination with the Silent Burial technique victims require either X-ray Vision or an SSS-rank or above Vibration Sensory technique and if they do not possess that they require reaction tiers either 1-rank (Precognitive/Premonition Dojutsu), 2-ranks (Time-Slowing Dojutsu/Muscle Tension) or 3-ranks higher than her movement speed in order to dodge her taijutsu, nintaijutsu & kintaijutsu techniques.
Bake - Spoiler:
Max Drunk Limit = 60 GDEWCW = -15 & -3 Each P.T Bake is submerged Multi-Terrain Swimming (With Current) + Teeter Dance: 5th Step = SSS-rank Speed (External Construct thus no recoil)
Name: A Ghost's Bake Classification:Bakejustu Rank: D-Rank (Can only be used by Ghost) Class:Supplementary Range:N/A
Description: Req. for Bakejutsu. All chakra has a specific affinity towards one of the 6 damage types while those with no affinity for any make the seventh type. These "affinities" however are only capable of being harnessed by Ghost's due to their inate focus on chakra usage sharply contrasting with their pre-awakening Ninja in that Ghosts are focused towards utilizing one of the damage types to it's best capacity through chakra. This is due to chakra being a far more flexible energy source than the others which is made evident due to chakra nature release transformations. A Ghost is capable of expressing their affinity through their "Bake" which is a mirror image ethereal copy of themselves which is invisible to normal eyesight only being capable of being seen by chakra vision, detected by chakra sensory or those who have 2nd Dimension Sealing. This is due to one's Bake existing in the dimension between the mental (1st) and physical plane (3rd) of existence also known as "Limbo". One's bake is capable of manifesting at speed equal to the user's rank and when utilizing Bakejutsu the Bake makes the hand seals instead of the user in addition Bake possess all of the user's tiers when manifested.
Name: Multi-Terrain Swimming Technique (Signature) Classification: Taijutsu Rank: B-rank Class: Supplementary Range: Self
Description: Cherish has practiced swimming in multiple substances, after all you never know when you need to swim in some strange terrain and she noticed how it was a good work out apparently one used all the muscles in their body in order to swim. As a result she decided to make it into a technique using a combination of strength & speed in order to boost her mobility underwater or underground. She found much to her amusement that she is actually able to swim faster than she can run and considering the way she does run it is quicker to initiate all she needs is terrain which she can dive into to swim. Due to relying on external constructs (aka the terrain in question) this technique does not trigger recoil but caps at S, swimming however still takes the required fatigue for tier levels (Low, Standard, Max & Exceeding Max) so can tire out Cherish if overused. Note: In order to swim in different terrains Cherish Speed & Strength must be equal to or at least one must exceed the requirements needed to swim in a specific terrain. Terrain - Speed & Strength Needed = Movement Speed Water (No Current or With Current) - N/A = +2 to Speed Water (Against Current) - N/A = +1 to Speed Mud - D = Equal to Samurai Movement Swamp - C = No Increases or Decreases Jelly - B = At Lowest -1 to Speed Quicksand - A = At Lowest -2 to Speed Solid Rock - S = At Lowest -3 to Speed
