The Necklace (Solo-C-rank)

Mission Details:

Himiko hadn't even fixed up her hair that morning as she made her way to the mission office, racing from the temple, for the first time ever shirking her duties as a Priestess, because there was one particular mission she was told to grab by her teacher. The whole way there she was mentally screaming her thanks for the heads up, the perfect mission on the final stretch up to the chuunin exams. Giving the message to her team mate Decimus, she told them she wouldn't be around for the next day or so because of this mission and to look out for Armen too, having seen neither since.

Getting into the office she slammed her hand down, slightly out of breath, "H-Hi, Himiko Zakiyoshi... genin... erm... I was told that there was a..."

"Oh, a Zakiyoshi huh? Well, there's one mission which I'm thinking you're after." The person behind the counter was bathed in shadow, Himiko not seeing their face but they did see her nod, slipping across the note with the mission on it. "There's a wealthy couple passing through the area, reportedly having stolen an A-rank technique and disguised inside of a necklace held by a missing-nin's part. Simple mission to get it back. Reportedly the holder of the necklace isn't even aware of what they're carrying, and the nin in question was taken into custody last night so there will be no resistance on that front."

The realisation dawned on her over what the mission pertained to, or what Crystal had in mind for her anyway. "Oh... erm... ok. Sure. I guess method doesn't matter?"

"Not at all dear. Just get the necklace back, bring it in, and we're all done."

Himiko would nod and turn to leave, opening up the note she was passed with the brief descriptions she needed to know, and nothing could be any more perfect.

It was night time she would make her move, perhaps the easiest way possible. It was a little hard going back to the same bar she had met R'tari at so soon after his death, but this was for the good of everyone. This time she had a little more preparation. She had specifically darkened her hair, trading out her usual blue clothing and hair for that of a more alluring black dress and red lips. Looking at herself in the mirror before having left home, she felt a little uneasy about using her clans gifts to her advantage, making this the first time she'd use her own allure.

Sat sipping her drink by the bar she scanned the room, but most importantly was the telltale necklace hanging between the woman's cleavage. With a slight grin she put her plan into motion. And by that, she had to wait her turn and to be called onto the stage. Happening just moments later by the pseudoname, 'Kimmy Kagema'. She got several cheers just for her alluring appearance, also confirming that nobody else seemed to recognise her anyway from the last time, even if it had been some time.

Her song began, having practised a new melody whilst forming her plan to not give herself away, and so did her jutsu. She knew the effect would be powerful, but likewise how the effect would work. From there the mission was a priority, but she hoped the effect would provide the extra key.

Half way through her song, the woman was standing. Several more notes in and she was trying to push through the crowd, and he had her hooked in her genjutsu. After much pushing, the woman was being escorted away and back to the bar for causing a scene, to which Himiko changed her song to keep the hooked effect going, if lowering the strength of it. Perfect for when her song came to an end, stepping off the stage to cheers. Phase one had been complete.

She stepped her way over, shooing away a rather drunken older man trying to get at her. "Hey, c'mon leave the woman alone," She repremanded the guy as she made a barrier with her body to turn the guys away. "... sorry the guys in here can get a little handsy,"

"Oh, it's fine I... sorry this isn't the best time. My boyfriends left me. We're from the Shogunate regions, not that I really care who knows at this point, because I'm just a civilian who knows nothing. Apparently not even my boyfriend because he's... somewhere else. If you catch my drift," The latter the woman whispered as she was lightly pulling Himiko in closer. "You've got such a lovely singing voice for such a young woman. I'd... love a personal performance if you might," Himiko was certain the effect was still ongoing, but she wanted to make sure. With a sly grin, she leaned in to quietly sing down the woman's ear, just to make sure the effect stuck. Forgetting to tone down the strength, the woman instantly turned and kissed her, as the genjutsu made happen.

"Woah, not here. C'mon, lead the way," She answered back in a a flirty tone, if anything not even sure if she was doing this all right. The woman gave no hesitation in pulling Himiko out, and as such she gave the perfect excuse to get close. Yet still she had to bide her time. The genjutsu would begin to wear off soon, but the emotions should last much longer. Finding themselves at the inn, Himiko knew she was onto the third and final stage.

Morning came and Himiko slipped out, walking her way back into the mission office and slamming the necklace down into place. She didn't wait long once it was handed over, not caring about what might've been hidden, but just wanting to go home. She had shed her disguise only after leaving the shogunate woman, not wanting the woman to know she'd just been used. And Himiko felt rather sick over it. She'd done something pretty terrible in her mind, but likewise she would keep the secret, and from what she had saw and heard that night, so would the woman. Though not a night either would let slip so soon. Himiko's eyes were just hurting terribly. She'd used a woman as a stepping stone to becoming Kage, and she promised to make it up when she got there.
