Liara strikes out on her own -Mission Counter-

Liara walks in with a semi brave face. The chunin exams were far away and she felt as if she wanted to try her hand at it. If she was to fail to catch up, perhaps she would be left behind from her friends. She wouldn't be able to work with Calesto and Takeshi anymore, and she didn't want that. "I cant be the one to fall behind. " Liara would say as she walked in to the front desk and looked at the receptionist. " H-hello..umm...can i have ... some D rank missions?"

The receptionist was currently taking a nap at her desk, trying to nurse a hangover from the previous night. She had gotten most of her work done before taking her nap, so her taking a few minutes to regain her composure wasn't too much to ask for right? She was in the middle of her nap when a rather timid voice reached her ears, so she would slowly raise her head, moving her hand just over her eyes to try and block out the light. "D-Rank? Yeah sure here you go" She would say tossing a mission scroll to Liara, the mission would state it was a simple dog walking mission.

The mission given to liara was easy enough, she felt that she didn’t need to ride behind someone in order to  complete it, it involved walking a dog for crying out loud. At the very most, Liara could use her friends in order to help her assist walking the dog. “Well guys, I don’t think it should be too bad, right?” Liara would say as she spoke to her ninachi and left the building. Walking out  of the building with the scroll in her hand, she would take advantage of the beautiful day and take it all in. Each deep breath was met with appreciation that she didn’t have to do a mission that was completely dangerous fro the time being. Maybe it couldn’t be completely avoided, she was an Acadmeny ninja after all. However, Liara was still determined to do her best under most circumstances. “This must be the place. “  Liara would say as she would knock on the door of the dog’s owner. It seemed to be a woman with a heavy accent that was the dog owner, liara could tell from the sound of her voice when’s he opened  the door and handed liara the leash. “You,  you answer scroll yes? Go walk dog now.” Liara kind of didn’t really know what to do when someone was being so abrasive. In the end, Liara ended up rapidly shaking her head as the door was then closed rather hurriedly  soon  she got the leash.  

The whimpering dog would look up to liara, which it was met with  kind hand being placed on its head. “Well then, shall we go for a walk oy?” The dog barked happily as Liara took the leash and started to lead the dog off of the property. There was a park near by and liara figured it would be bets to walk the dog there if it wanted to use the bathroom or mark its territory. There were so many things a dog did that Liara wasn’t too accustomed to in terms of having a pet. Her only pets were the ninachi bees that she had living inside of her, and they mostly did their own thing unless Liara was asking for something in particular and wanted to be attended. Other than that, they had a harmonious relationship.  “Woah, slow down boy!” The dog immediately took on running as Liara held on to the string for dear life. She   was having fun, even though all of this physical activity was quite tiresome.

The dog then stopped running and started walking slowly, sniffing each tree that they passed by. “Whats wrong boy, do you have to use the bathroom now?” Liara always wondered why  animals never use the toilet like normal humans. Maybe it’s easier to just go wherever and whenever you want?” Eex… that’s embarrassing to think about. “ The dog was busy doing its thing with the tree, and finished shortly after. “Well boy, it’s starting to get late. I’m pretty sure your owner is expecting you with a good meal!”

The woman looked up from her book and took the scroll from her. She turned around and took out the payment before handing it over to Liara. A soft hum left her lips and she reached under the desk before pulling out a series of small folders and placing them on the desk for the girl to read. Each of the folders contained information for D-Rank missions and there were three in total. The first was simply tiling a roof that had been broken in a storm, the second was trimming some hedges due to them becoming overgrown and the last was clearing out trash from the streets to keep the village clean.

While at the place, liara jumped for joy as soon as the missions were placed in front of her. “I can pick from any one of these three?” Liara only needed one mission to do, so she wasn’t going to try to stress herself out and try to do everything. Though, when it comes to being a productive citizen of the ASN committee, ass well as being a good ninja, liara wondered what would be the best way utilize her talents. “Hmm…. Which one…..” Liara thought for a few seconds and picked up the mission that involved her “I think I’ll take the one that involves cleaning trash. “ Liara felt as if It would be a good and easy to utilize her ninachi hive in order to get the work done faster. If she would send a few hives, it would take quite a bit of work, but they could carry a bunch of the trash in a bundle and dump the trash to the nearest disposable yard. After leaving, liara would start to walk around the neighborhood with a few of her ninachi hives. Well, she only really had one hive to work with, but Liara was Alost certain that sending in a few swarms would be more than enough to get the streets clean. “Aright guys, any kind of garbage that you see on the floor, I want you to pick it up and carry it off in the middle of the street. The first thing we are going to do is create one big pile ok?”
The bees responded and immediately started to down at Liara asked of them to do. Liara felt as if she had a responsibility as her owners to interact and help too. From anyone that looked outside, it seemed as if bees, insects, wild animals of the animal kingdom, was out here and picking up the trash. They had no idea where the swarm of garbage bee cleaners was taking whatever disposable items that they could find. IT was a scene that would be straight out of the movies or some sort of indie flick with an animal tamer, this woman was a bonadife bee whisperer. “BzzBZZ” With the main bee that was overseeing the operation, it communicated to Liara that the job was pretty much done. “Oh? You guys finished up already? That’s pretty quick of you, thanks. “ Liara then motioned this small bag. “I only have this small bad, I really cant keep up with you guys sometimes” When Liara arrived to the middle of the plaza, she would stare at it and whistle. “Y-you guys work often…. Don’t you?” There was this big pile of trash that Liara didn’t even know that was inside of the village. “Well, good thing we were on the job, it would of taken a long time for normal people to get to. “With that being said, Lisra sent out about 5 swarms to carry off the huge pile and drop It off to the dump.
