Team 8 Unlocking the 1st Transformation

Mujin had sent Calesto a message, it was an urgent notice for him to come to the training ground alone, as Mujin had discovered something that required his students attention. In reality it was nothing Mujin had just figured it was time to help his student unlock his first transformation and the best way to do so would be to ambush him while he is alone and almost kill him. Sure he wouldn't actually try to kill him just injury him to the point of causing him to unlock it as he was paramount that he had that under control before he registered them for the chunin exam. He had deliberately held them back from the ones that had occurred a week ago because quite honestly Team 8 just wasn't ready.

Sure Lia was skilled but wasn't a fighter, while Cal was not at his peak level of strength and Tak was still a flight risk who hadn't bonded properly with the rest of the squad. What a pain this squad was, but he was sure he could at least get Cal up to snuff in short notice. Once he unlocked his transformation he could begin to master it so as to retain his control which would bolster all of his combat abilities. Lia would soon enough reach her maximum potential as a genin even on her own with those small suggestions of his working wonders while Tak well...honestly as soon as that stick up his ass was extracted he could really become something special.

Calesto had received the message from his team leader to meet him for some training, which don't get me wrong here Cal loved to train because it meant that he could get stronger. However for some strange reason Cal had an uneasy feeling about this training session as he made his way towards the location Mujin had told him to go. The note didn't specify whether or not the others would be there, which he was hoping that both his team mates would be there so that they could figure out how to completely merge into one body and become the perfect hunter. With Liara's medical skills, his own tracking abilities, and Tak's.............. Well Takeshi may very well have his uses to the team, but Cal had been yet unable to figure out what he could be used for. So after about fifteen minutes of walking Cal would make his way to the spot Mujin had instructed him to rendezvous, and after examining the area he would come to the conclusion that his sensei has yet to arrive, either that or Mujin had better stealth jutsu then Cal has encounter so far.

Mujin had gone all out wearing different cologne than he typically used, dressing in a different outfit and then utilizing the transformation technique change his appearance as well as the appearance of the bone sword he was currently wielding. All in all his appearance looked like a missing nin and not only would he be testing Calesto's skill in a life or death situation he would make sure to play the part so well that it'll trigger his students transformation. He would rush forward at vacuum release speeds before utilizing vacuum release speeds alongside the Dance of the Camellia thrusting his blade towards Calesto's body the first two strikes were aimed at his legs, the follow ups would be aimed at his torso as he wanted to reduce his ability to flee. He would say nothing relying on the sudden appearance of a missing nin with a slashed Shigakure forehead protector to provoke his student to react with deadly force in return.

"What the...." Was all Calesto was able to mutter before falling to the ground in a tremendous amount of pain. Stabbed in both legs causing the boy to hit the ground as well as a stab to the gut from whoever the hell this guy was had happened so fast that Cal was unable to even register until it was too late. Was this how he was to die? by the hands of some nobody? He hadn't even gotten to meet up with Mujin for that training, He hadn't gotten a chance to get to know his team better, and Liara...... Images of her rushed though Calesto's mind as his blood had started to pool around him. Was he really going to die like a little bitch before he could make a move on her? Oh Hell No! His blood would start to flow into the flask in his pocket as his hands would move to force himself up, his entire body soaked with his own blood as the boy would snarl in pain from his inflicted wounds which slowly started healing. He would look up showing his bloodied face as well as a full set of sideburns. Not some wimpy pencil line shit, but like a set of full on mutton chops that would make a scotsmen wet. "I'll eat your fucking heart" Cal would say through his sharpened teeth before taking off at figure at B rank speed with a full set of claws ready to slash at their chest with the same speed.

Mujin would take a couple steps back mainly to wait to see if his gambit was successful and it was, causing him to muffle a sigh as now he would have to test his student while his abilities were heightened. It was such a pain but let it not be said that he wasn't a good sensei. Cal would burst up and Mujin would adjust to the new speed by throwing the blade he hand in his hand at crashing ground speeds attempting to get Cal to halt his forward momentum. Even if he didn't Mujin would sink into the ground using the Hiding like a Mole technique while making hand seals causing an earth spike to burst from the ground to the right of Calesto trying to herd him into moving to the left. Or even capitalize on him trying to dodge the incoming blade, while underground Mujin would keep moving at vacuum release speeds before popping up this time with a kunai in his hand and grinning savagely at his student. "Nothing personal kid, just business." he disguised his voice trying to throw Calesto off even further though he knew there was no need because the transformation would make him less rational and he was already pissed off by nearly dying.

Calesto would let out a roar when he saw the blade being thrown at him at crashing ground speed, giving him only enough time to create a layer of bone just under his skin, deflecting the blade away from his body. Sure it hurt to have a blade ricochet off his own body, but at the moment Calesto really couldn't care less as he wanted nothing more then to kill the man who hurt him. This was when he would notice the man sink into the ground, which did not bother him as he was able to sense the direction in which they were moving. Knowing this made Calesto preform a set of hand seals just before a earthly spike would come crashing into his body, knocking him away from his position while he himself would unleash a torrent of syrup from his mouth, covering a forty foot radius in a sticky liquid meant to immobilize an opponent his target. Thankfully Cal still had enough sense to focus his chakra on his feet before landing on the ground, or else he would be just as screwed as this guy.

Mujin would smirk, pleased with his student's follow up, though he too had a response as he dropped his kunai so he could make hand seals. He would slam his hand on the ground as he emerged while using the other to snatch up his kunai before hit the ground the result would be an Earth Wall bursting up from the ground and blocking the rush of sticky syrup while he would use the hand he slammed onto the ground to stick to the wall as it rose upward. He'd flip landing on the top of the wall perched legs crouched while spinning the kunai in his left hand the earth wall standing tall against the rush of water thanks to elemental superiority. He would throw the kunai once more aimed at Cal's leg though it would move crashing ground speeds this time he had made it heavier which is why it didn't travel as fast as he actually threw it having done that during the time period he was spinning it in his hand. Not that his student would know that though, so he was interested to see if he had kept up with his conditioning if he had been training like he had told him too then his bone density should be enough to deal with the kunai if not well...sucks.

Calesto would snarl as he watched the man come up with a counter measure for his trap, this fuckin' guy had the audacity to continue insulting him by continuing to breath, surely something he would have to remedy that mistake soon enough. The moment his target slammed his hand on the ground to preform his jutsu Cal was in turn getting ready for his own attack, taking off at crashing ground speed to the left of his attacker while making a set of hand seals. This would cover the area in a mist making his opponent blind, well at least he hoped the man didn't have any sensory abilities like his own. However as the fog would surround the area the enraged teenager would make another set of hand seals in order to create a water clone, which he would send off in the direction of the earth wall that the man had created. Meanwhile the true Calesto would continue to circle around his target, even though he was blind and couldn't feel the vibrations in the ground due to the syrup on the ground, Calesto could still smell the man even from the other side of the world with that much on. "Oh come on, you need to wash that shit off your body. Guessing it would make you taste sour"

Mujin would watch as the area became filled with mist and promptly would make hand seals finishing as the mist covering the area would vanish while the syrup water levels would decrease a bit as well. The reason was because of a water dragon restoring Mujin's visibility by utilizing the water comprising the mist as well as some of the syrup as his techniques water price. Possible only due to the strength of the water dragon technique, it was possible that Calesto had never seen such a thing but he needed to let his student know such a thing was possible in a controlled environment, now he wouldn't be surprised if it happened again. The Water dragon would roar before it would continue forward moving at crashing ground to snatch up the Cal nearest to him in it's jaws lifting it's mouth to swallow and then continuing forward to attempt to smash into the one far away.

While this was going on Mujin would make hand seals once more at vacuum release speeds before slamming his hands on the earth wall he was perched on the ground rumbling before turning into a pit sucking up all of the water as the pit covered a 60ft radius around him. Mujin would sink down about four feet but since he was on an earth wall it wasn't too bad having used a small amount of chakra to preform this technique mainly wanting to clear the field of water other than that comprising his water dragon. He would still remain perched on the wall watching to see if his student could get out of this situation what with the ground being a trap and the water dragon seeking new prey.

Calesto would watch as the mist he had created in order to get some cover would just seem to disappear, exposing his position to the man who had attacked him who seemed to be collecting the water from said mist, this guy was a little too versatile for his own good. So with his clone destroyed by the kunai thrown by the man, who seemed to be doing something. What is tha...... Oh shit.... Well now this was probably going to hurt like a bitch, if only he had spent his time training his body instead of relaxing perhaps he wouldn't be in this mess to begin with. As the water Dragon barreled towards his location, Cal would leap over the attacks aimed at him at crashing ground speed towards his opponent while clutching the back of his neck. Thats when he would dig his claws into his flesh and grab his spine from the base of his neck, and whip his most crucial bone structure within his body at the man standing on top of the earth wall as the ground below seemed to be a sink hole type deal.
"Why?!?" Cal would shout as he flick his wrist back in hopes to ensnare his target with his spinal cord whip, can I just say how incredibly painful that would be. Like not only getting to the spin and ripping it out of your back, but the feeling of it regrow would be enough to knock a normal person out.

Mujin would finish slamming his hands into the ground as Cal burst up after a spin seeking to wrap him up inside his bone vine, he saw from the wound inflicted that his student had not in fact been keeping up his conditioning. Which meant that it not only hurt but likewise would be left open from the wound, a pity. Still he couldn't get caught in such a technique lest his transformation break and reveal what he was doing, after all he didn't want to fester mistrust within his student. So he would use hiding like a mole and sink into the earth all at A-rank speeds narrowly missing getting bound by the bone whip. From the wall he would sink into the pit while making hand seals causing an Earth Spike to emerge from the wall as his student head towards it. Which thanks to Cal jumping and his forward momentum keeping him going it was very unlikely that he'd be able to dodge out of the way like he did last time.

"Shit..." Calesto would say as he watched the man who attacked him sink into the ground, only to be replaced by yet another Earth spike. So the man had the ability to use both water and earth style techniques, which narrows down a future list of suspects for a later date. From the way the man moves away from Ka during close quarters combat it was painfully obvious that he was hiding something from Calesto, perhaps he wasn't expecting his target to survive the brutal assault, then again those were questions best answered for later. Calesto would drop the spine whip from his dominant hand as he moved them to form 2 sets of hand seals, and by time the whip would hit the ground Cal could be seen spewwing a rush of water out of his mouth. However instead of hitting the ground like last time and covering the ground in more sticky grossness, the water would instead move around Calesto's body until his body was fully wrapped in his own water prison technique. He mainly did this in order to give him some kind of defense from the unknown man attacking him. The water prison ball would crash into the Earth spike, keeping Calesto safe in his little hamster ball, while at the same time after crashing into the spike a Bone Clone would sprout out of the ground and charge towards his attacker yet again.

The incoming bone clone would end up getting sucked up by the pit and upon sinking into the ground until only it's head came up from the surface the life would go out of it's eyes as it was promptly torn apart underground, a combination of strikes targeting the joints and immobility. The shinobi wouldn't rise but using such scouting maneuvers while smart were ineffective, he wouldn't surface unless he needed to and with Calesto safely tucked in a bubble of water. Another earth wall would shoot up from the ground this time directly under Calesto and if the water prison wasn't disrupted by the offensive use of the earth wall, the water soaking into it and dispersing then Calesto would instead be launched upward and potentially vulnerable for a follow up. From the ground 10 kunai would be thrown each having an explosive tag adorning them and hurtling upward at B-rank speeds to Calesto's position the missing nin's head popping up from underneath the ground with a savage smirk no doubt knowing that if he detonated all of the tags it would spell disaster for Calesto by virtue of each of said tags having a C-rank explosive tag. Explosions got deadly very quick and chain explosions were only worse.
