“Home at last…” Hiro muttered to himself as he could see the village gates in the distance. It felt like months since he had last laid in his own bed and he was dying to get home and wash all his hands of all the blood, both figuratively and literally. Well, at least, it was an eventful mission, he thought to himself as he looked back upon everything that had happened. His only regret was actually killing that Denkou girl. Maybe if he had tried spoken to her she would’ve understood what had happened to him? “I doubt it..” Letting out a sigh he would shift his gaze towards the man that was sitting silently sitting beside him. What were his thoughts about all of this? Was he scared? If he was he did a hell of a good job hiding it. “We’re here. Help me offload these bodies.” Hiro said after they had entered the village gates and had pulled up at a decent location. Jumping out the back of the caravan, Hiro and the blacksmith would unload the bodies along with whatever was in the back of the caravan. “Oye old man, I have a request.’ The young boy said turning to Xan.

Xan would power down, the amount of pain that his body felt would of disabled a lesser man, but with his Pain Tolerance and undead state, it was child's play. As he walked back he would place his hands in his pockets to supervise the unloading of the caravan only for his apprentice to ask something of him. "This request would not have anything to do with the Denkou girl you killed would it." Xan said narrowing his eyes slightly as such weakness especially to brethren who he shouldn't feel as attached to due to his circumstances and geographical location did annoy him. Not really, it was more so if he felt such remorse it would only stunt his growth, Xan wanted Hiro to become detached to killing that was the only way he could survive in this world. "Because if it is, remember that the Denkou are not your family anymore, if anything I am the closest thing you have to family. But if it's something different, make your request." Xan said staring at Hiro his ever present scowl having faded ever so slightly at his comment but that was as close as Hiro would get to validation of his worth.

“This request has nothing to do with her. Though I admit that I’m feeling a bit guilty about killing someone from the Denkou, it’s as you say, you’re the closest thing I have to family right now and I am grateful for everything you’ve done for me thus far. ” Hiro said as he finished unloading the goods in the back of the caravan. Though he wasn’t one that enjoys murdering others, he had come to realize that the mere fact that he was affiliated with Pandora that meant others wanted him dead. He didn’t know or understood why but that was the world they currently lived in. “It’s in regards to one of these civilian women. Jake had said that one of these women is a tamer and I’d like her to be kept alive. I’m a bit interested in animals so having around me would be a good way to pass time… when I’m not training of course. Besides she wasn’t of any use to you so having her be a companion of mine wouldn’t do much harm.” Hiro said hoping Xan would honor his request.

An odd request, though he was pleased it wasn't about the Denkou girl, still it was another girl but seeing as they had a good haul Xan would humor his apprentice. "I see, very well. You should take her to the temple to at least get her slave marks so she can't run away or disobey without experiencing pain. Unless you prefer training her yourself?" Xan said callously one female wouldn't be missed, besides it was the males that provided the most offspring anyways, Succubi Broodmothers had a much quicker gestation than human or zireh females, only outstripping nova by a few months. Now then, help me go through our spoils. Xan said placing the scrolls on the ground and unfolding them before unsealing the bodies within, waiting for his apprentice to do the same. The conscious captive could unload while they looted the corpses and decided what they would keep and what they would use to benefit the TLAH order. Granted Xan didn't need to share his spoils unlike the rest of his order his contributions were not mandatory but Xan had very little need for material wealth other than things which could be used to better improve his combat abilities, or spice up his smoking habit.

“I don’t think slave marks would be necessary… But thank you for granting my wish Xan-sensei.” Hiro said with a tired smile before bowing to the man before him. Inside he was jumping for joy that he was able to spare her from the horrors of getting raped daily by the monsters of Pandora but how would she react to being around Hiro? No matter how much he’d try to think otherwise she would indeed be his slave. How would he convince her that he meant her no harm? After all he had kidnapped her and she would never see her family again and on top of that he would be responsible for the horrible things that the others would go through from here on out. “Ugh..” He couldn’t help but groan at that thought of the woman resenting him but that would be something he’d have to work out later as now he had work to do.

Pulling out the scrolls he held he would place the scrolls on the ground, unfolded them and unsealed the all. The first body he would turn his attention to would be the Denkou girl. She had denki weapons he had been itching to his hands on, sadly she didn’t own a denki katana but these had to do for the time being.

While they talked Jake would move his still unconscious former comrades as well as the crates of stuff moving quite fast actually seeing as by the time Xan had begun to unfold the scrolls all of the stuff was already on the ground. He would remain silent as separating the woman who didn't have a bloody head wound as he overheard what the two were talking about apparently the younger one wanted her and didn't even want to mark her as a slave huh, seems he was the nicer of the two. He would look at the scrolls his eyes slightly widening at how many people they had slain among the two of them.

Starting at Hiro's side were four bodies, all elite genin from Dipugakure, split evenly between male and female. The first girl still had the senbon in her windpipe while the first boy had a stab through the heart both being ninja, the Mei Lin, the Denkou corpse still had her pierced lung while the Ronin had his heart pierced all of their gear was still on them, though that was at face value most likely they would be stripped bare so nothing was missed. The next group of bodies was from Fay all four bruised and partially burnt, the Dokusei Chunin female from Dipu, her Haka T. Jonin ally was also a ninja as were the two Haka Elite genin that accompanied them both male. Finally Xan's haul included the head of the Mishura Hiro killed from the Shogunate, the pulped upper body of the Kukinorite Dakar from Kohai, headless body of the Haka T. Jonin Tenmetsu Samurai, the slashed Haka T.Jonin ninja and finally the Adept Merchant who owned the caravan with a hole in his sternum.

If they chose to loot the bodies, then they would discover the following items upon stripping their victims bare. While Jared had arranged the eight bags of stuff from the mine, opening them so that he could identify which was which, and then proceeding to take them and spread them along the ground from their bag of origin for easier identifying. Fortunately he was a blacksmith and thus knew rocks not as well as his late employer but enough that he would have no problem identifying them individually. All in all it was a huge haul if they had made it back to the ASN they would of been able to profit from their trip by a good amount and that wasn't counting of Jake managed to make them into weapons for sale.

Xan would proceed to strip the bodies of their items rummaging in the pockets of those he had personally killed as well as those Fay had killed for their Xel and managing to obtain ten thousand four hundred and thirty Xel for his trouble. He would make sure to leave only the bodies on the scrolls while leaving their gear to their side with the only major things he did being to collect the Mishura's head and place it on top of the headless samurai's corpse and sealing them away while waiting for Hiro to strip the Denkou so he could seal it away as well. Those two he would be keeping until he could contact Tellarossa or one of the other ICNO order members so he could safely extract one of each eye for his personal use. He would note the samurai sword picking it up and immediately identifying it's traits he could find use for it sure, but instead he felt it would make a better gift for his new student, at least after it has been re-forged with his original weapon to make a stronger weapon with both of it's composites abilities.

"Swordsmith. You said you can fashion weaponry correct, how good are you at re-forging weapons. Also, what exactly can you make. Spare no detail I wish to quantify how much you are worth and whether or not you will indeed be fitting of being a smith of the Isley family. Do not lie, I will know." Not really, but the civilian didn't know that still if the man impressed him he would make sure that he would be rewarded for his efforts with immortality. That way he could serve the Isley family until the end of time, if his life did not end before that. He thought about it and felt one of the Undead curse seals would be best, smithing was something capable of being passed down via teaching and needing not to breed would make him focus more on honing his craft.

After stripping the bodies of all the xel they had on their person, Hiro had managed to gather 500 xel. “What a haul…” Hiro muttered to himself sarcastically before putting the xel in his pocket. In truth he was disappointed at the amount of money he had gotten from the bodies but there was no use crying over spilt milk, at least he was able to get some weapons off a denkou so it wasn’t that bad…kinda. Letting out a soft sigh he would continue to strip them down to nothing, placing their headbands in one pile and their clothes in another. The only thing he found remotely useful were the senbons and ninja wires they hand on their person as well as the ones he had thrown himself, as well as the denki cord the flamed hair girl had sealed in her palms. So with everything collected he would leave the bodies to Xan to ship to Genso so that they could collect their reward for the mission, at least he could look forward to that.

Jake would flinch as the tall one addressed him, of the two he was more much intimidating sure the younger one was obviously pretty skilled but it seemed of the two the tall one was in charge so if it was based on his position of usefulness then he might as well say what he could make. "I specialize in Katana, Uchigatana, Shinobigatana & Wakizashi all of them I can produce weapons which possess special abilities though only up to C-rank with no chance of failure anything higher and their is a risk. Reforging though has a much higher chance of success to the point where if you need me to reforge a sword into one of my specialties I can do it up to B-rank with no chance of failure & give it a special ability. I also can produce Small, Humanoid and Medium Stock Puppets, all in all I'm an adept blacksmith so I can make other things as well but not as well only D-rank things like senbon or kunai can I smith reliably, C-rank if I'm reforging but can't imbue any of those things with special abilities. I was thinking of becoming a scholar so I could learn how to make elemental weaponry...I'm a quick learner though and being swordsmith is my passion." He would stop before looking at the woman he had placed next to him.

Luckily the kid has a soft spot for women I guess. But the tall guy seemed only interested in a blacksmith, still if they weren't collecting it for themselves it would be quite a waste. He thought to himself noticing how the kid eyed the senbon and the unsealed Denki Cord attached to their special kunai. He had always wanted to work on Denkou materials but only the civilians in their clan had access to them. But Pandora didn't seem to care for that it seemed like he had landed in a potential jackpot considering they simply took whatever they could and re-purposed it. Perhaps this was his big break, maybe not working for the Xel he could make in the ASN but free from the tariffs and restrictions enforced in the more civilized factions to protect clan interests and the other various powerful families and things of that nature. "Like...for instance that Denki Cord, I can split it and probably make 10 C-rank Denki Senbon out of it each with a higher electricity conductivity and retention than those Denki Kunai thanks to those aquamarines in the gem pile. If you want I could even fix those shoddy things your student calls swords into something more befitting of his heritage than simply scavenging of that Denkou girl. I can see it, Twin Wakizashi Blades forged from those two Denki Tanto and some of the materials found here. I won't say I'm the best smith when it comes to making Katana that would be my master but when it comes to Wakizashi I know I can give those Denkou smiths a run for their money."

Xan would count out a set amount of money before placing it in a pouch and throwing it at his apprentice for him to catch. Inside said pouch was Hiro's cut from the Xel collected from the corpses. Factoring in the fact that his apprentice had found 500 Xel on the others, despite Xan seeming like he wasn't paying attention to him he missed nothing. "I see, swordsmanship is mine. You will fit well among my clan, once your mortality is solved that is, the Isley family utilizes various types of blades but the Katana and Uchigatana are the most common. Followed by Nodachi, Wakizashi, Chokuto & Nagamaki. Shinobigatana and Ninjato are rare, if you are to smith for our family I will expect you to eventually master all of them." He would turn to glance at Hiro and note his reaction to what the civilian had said while walking over to collect two Haka Standard Melee weapons that fit his size and wearing them while flexing his hands to test his mobility and finding it satisfactory.

"What do you say to that apprentice? She was your kill, do you want to commemorate her death by using it to obtain sword that will define you as Basilisk and Cockatrice define me? Regardless, Hiro I want you to pick one of those Flak Jackets and the gloves we will have the smith make us armor befitting of a Knight. Collect what you wish Hiro, as for you smith take what you need to make us custom armor and that weaponry you proposed. Everything else will be shipped to the TLAH order base. It is time my order gained it's own equipment." He himself was interested in improving his own weapons however the smith was not yet skilled enough to work on either of his prized blades. He would have to bide his time until the smith became a master only then would he be worthy of working on Basilisk or Cockatrice.

Hiro silently stood there as the blacksmith told Xan what he had specialized in. In truth, Hiro didn't care much about what weapons the man could make or about his level of skill when it came to creating weapons. Even though he was a swordsman he didn't have a great interest in weapons like his mentor did, if it looked like a sword, he would use it and if it broke he would move on to the next one, it was as simple as that to him. So all this talk about reforging and imbuing bored the living hell out of him. Hiro however, felt that the interrogation of the blacksmith was mainly for Xan's new student. It was like he was jealous but he had wished that this kid, whoever he was, was the one who went through all that killing and traveling. Well at least, he did get some things out of this so he was grateful.

"Ow, the hell was that?" Hiro muttered s he felt something hard hit him in face. Since he was busy daydreaming he didn't notice when Xan had tossed the bag of xel towards him. You didn't have to..., he wanted to say but he decided to just pick the bag of xel up and put it in his pocket. "Well, that sounds pretty cool. Besides it's not like she can object anyways, she's dead. I'm down for anything that'll make me a better Knight which will ultimately help me fulfil my dream." Hiro stated calmly.

Jake would nod before moving over bending down to collect a couple of things, half of the aquamarines, half of the copper, half of the garnets, all of the senbon, twenty-five feet of the Denki Cord, ten feet of Haka Style Chains, eight damaged Dipu Style shuriken, ten damage Dipu Style kunai, both of the Denki Tanto, the Nodachi & the Damaged Chokuto. He would then straighten up gathering them all in a sack which was pretty heavy but he could manage. That's what I can work with for now, if you Isley people have a skilled miner i'll be able to get better resources which will make better equipment. But I will do the best with what I took. Jake said placing the sack on the ground while before picking up a set of Haka Style gloves and a flak jacket that looked like it would fit Hiro once adjustments were made. He'd put both of those in another sack while waiting for his new boss to hand over the equipment he wanted altered into custom armor for himself. It wouldn't be perfect, he lacked the skill in equipment and while this was a good haul for cash it wasn't for S-rank equipment no not even close.

Xan would not reply to the blacksmiths statement just waiting for him to finish what he was collecting before he promptly sealed the bodies and equipment away at least any that Hiro didn't claim for himself personally. The bodies would be sealed into different scrolls while he pulled out a brush so he could write what was inside each of them. It would take a while but once Xan was done and had all of the scrolls he would spare a glance to his apprentice, before nodding and then glancing at the smith. "You are free to go Hiro along with your new slave, good job the mission is complete. I will handle the processing of our captives, smith walk beside me." was he spoke he would place the scrolls in his pockets while walking over to where the other captives were and picking them up before placing their stripped bodies back into the caravan, all but the naked female that Hiro had chosen to own that is. It was far more efficient for him to simply pick up the caravan and head towards the breeding pits than to carry them individually, while he could keep track of the smith as he head towards their location. At least long enough to drop them off then head to a place where he could mail the scrolls to the TLAH order base while sending those with bodies to Gensogakure.
