Name: Kaimon - The Gate of Opening

Description: The First of the Eight Gates, which is located in the brain, removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so 100% of the user's strength can be used whereas normally, a person can only use 20% of their muscles' strength to keep them from disintegrating. This grants the user B-rank Strength, Speed & Endurance while having a base activation duration of 5 Posts (Total). This can be extended however depending on two things, the user's skill level as well as their endurance tiers. While active due to the pain of activation the user is broken out of a D-rank genjutsu, including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Regardless of the user's pain threshold due to the chakra coursing through their body, the pain associated with the activation of this technique will not cause them any adverse effects until after this technique has been deactivated. When deactivated, the recoil from this technique results in the user sustaining D-rank times (x) the number of posts (total) this technique was active in Pain in addition to D-rank Physical Recoil Damage.

Description: Iaido refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the uchigatana from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its scabbard result in much faster slashes than ones realized with the uchigatana already drawn. This is explicitly used by Cypher simply due to their mastery of weapon based combat which allows them to literally stop opponents from preforming equal rank ninjutsu if they are within a set amount of the opponent and use this technique. If the opponent doesn't stop however they will sustain damage thus interrupting them from completing their technique & causing them to waste the chakra used in the technique requiring hand-seals. Iaido is very specific in it's timing and proximity to determine the exact speed at which an Iaido technique can intercept hand seals at a set speed, Iaido techniques are by definition Contact range, any time an Iaido technique has any rage above Contact (Short, Mid & or Long) it means it involves the use of Displacement Aura to extend the range. If the Cypher lacks that type of Displacement Aura then the rage is dropped back down to Close or whatever the max range they can get when utilizing displacement aura.

Description: Req. New Moon Blade. Based on the principle of Denkou Style Kenjutsu of mixing high speed Kenjutsu with the perception ability of their Raidengan in order to read an opponents movements and strike true the user watches an opponent before anticipating where they will stop moving after rushing the user. Said user springs backward while unsheathing their blade to swing with both hands firmly on the hilt in an upward arc at B-rank speeds. The speed of the strike is such that it is capable of intercepting a Samurai moving at Crashing Ground speeds within 15ft of the user to deal a slash which slices a victim 5 times, due to the vibrations from the displaced kinetic energy from drawing the user's blade. Opponents in the middle of attempting to strike the user without a Premonition/Precognition dojutsu, a Time Slowing Dojutsu with B-rank Reaction Tiers or are moving as a result of Strength rather than speed are unable to avoid this counter-attack.

In addition when they do possess speed tiers it gives them the ability to react to speeds up to 1 rank above their own as long as it doesn't exceed their rank.

Description: This is a senjutsu relying on base shape manipulation and NE flow to alter the composition of a Chidori turning it into a deadly counter-offensive technique which does not require the use of hand seals to focus one's NE unlike the base Chidori. By releasing the Chidori in every direction at vacuum release speeds, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him/her to affect multiple enemies as long as they are within a 20 feet radius of the user. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense due to it's lack of hand seals. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making their muscles contract immobilizing them for 4 posts (total) unless they possess A-rank Chakra Tiers or S-rank Endurance with the victim instead taking B-rank lightning release damage in exchange for negating the paralyzing effect in the case of endurance. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives A-rank Lightning Release damage. This attack can also be channeled through the ground to increase the range of the attack depending on the earth release technique it is used on.

Description: The Second of the Eight Gates, which is located in the brain, forcibly increases the user's physical strength to A-rank and temporarily re-energizes the body causing, them to temporarily ignore pain during it's activation which lasts as long as it is activated or until the user activates another gate. This pain ignoring grants the user something similar to Pain Resistance in which the user registers that they are getting injured however it doesn't affect them physically or mentally. Depending on the user's Age this technique can likewise boost the duration of the user's gates by a set amount. While active due to the pain of activation the user is broken out of up to 2 D-rank genjutsu in a chain, including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Regardless of the user's pain threshold due to the chakra coursing through their body, the pain associated with the activation of this technique will not cause them any adverse effects until after this technique has been deactivated.
