| The ceiling lights flickered on and off frequently. They were old and in need of changing, but no one cared about it. Light probably wasn't even supposed to be here with all the beasts that this pit had birthed and the many deaths that were claimed in cheers. So was the underground fighting- or rather murder ring called Tartaros. A place where many came to stain the walls and ground in gallons upon gallons of crimson ooze.
Kiba on both sides of his waist, he strolled inside the dark and odorful place. The stench filled his nostrils as he made his way to a counter beside a pair of large doors."Uh...yeah...a seven streak challenge. Feather weight, and i'll start at the low tier." Haru didn't exactly want to be here. He had only taken a nap and a few weeks had passed. The war was basically now upon them. The ranking system of the Shogunate had changed. A lot had gone down while he slept, and maybe his skills had gotten a little rusty. So lets see what he can do. | |

| The person at the desk would notice Haru Mishura he was one of the Blades and he would bow his head slightly in respect before piping up. Ah, Blade-sama you know by order of the Shogun you do not need to participate at such a low rank and instead may go towards something more befitting of your status perhaps Welterweight? You can do so right away without having to go in order simply due to your title as a Blade, we had an incident earlier when one of you didn't know this and thus slaughtered a good portion of potential shogunate trying to advance through the ranks as such it would be preferred if you moved to the rank that you are in fact supposed to be in. the person at the desk said before looking at Haru to see what he would say, it was just a recommendation truth be told Haru was a Blade as thus was too skilled for mere Featherweight. It would just result in multiple quick battles without any true test of his abilities or any merit to his rank up goals. | |

| "Oh... I see." So he got to skip a level for being a blade, huh. Well, at-least now he could ditch his plans of just repetitively slashing through every single contestant. He'd pull a blue lolly treat from his pocket before removing the the wrapper and placing it on his tongue. It was a nice flavor, cotton candy. "Okay, i'll go directly to welterweight. I don't want to kill more than i need to here." Walking over to the gate that he thought would lead him to the arena, he waited. Oh yeah, he had forgotten something kinda important. Turning back to the person at the desk. "Uh, hey do you guys serve snacks while this stuff goes on? Like, its sort of entertainment so I was wondering. 'Cause this is the last sweet I had on me, so if you have any could you spare me some?" This was actually a legitimate problem...maybe...no, no it wasn't. But who goes to a show without snacks? | |

| Understood, please step into the door on your right, unfortunately we can not give any of the participants food or drink as long as they do a challenge to prevent sabotage or unfair advantage. To that extent those who are attempting to do long challenges are expected to bring their own supplies, food, medicine along with them prior to making the challenge. The man at the desk said as one of the doors opened and he would wait until Haru made his way inside before shutting it once more. Upon getting to the arena there was a larger crowd mainly because it was Welterweight rather than feather but now that a Blade another one had entered the crowd would cheer as they wanted to see what he could do in battle. Sure enough the door would open once more and another male would walk in wearing a Dipugakure Flak Jacket with a slashed Dipu forehead protector. Heh, even if you are some big shot Blade it's not like that's going to help you. The man said before going into hand seals before expelling a mist from his mouth to obscure the area as he used the Hidden Mist Technique. Under the cover of the mist he would pull out his Dipugakure Standard Ranged Weapon, a battle umbrella to be precise and would rush forward keeping quiet witht he silent killing technique as he moved at bullet release speeds to get close to his target. - Spoiler:

Description: The Hiding in Mist Technique is a speciality of the ninja from Kirigakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Kyougan/Raidengan or chakra vision-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

| "Aww, so i have to make this one last for the entire challenge." Haru whined, as he made his way through the now open door. Cheers and chants welcomed his presence as he entered the arena, which irritated him a bit. "Tsk." They were so noisy. Why was he here again? Oh yeah, the war and his rusty skills. Looking over the battlefield he noticed the bloodstained floor. Thoroughly cleaned yet still seemed a tad pinkish in the overhead lighting of the arena. As he scanned around, his hands would move in sync to form hand seals before coming down to pull Kiba from his sides. the dual blades shone as they reflected the light from above. Haru actually envied the blades a little in their sleeping state. Able to stay asleep for as long as they were until someone woke them. In all honesty, he'd be extremely pissed if someone woke him up from such a long sleep but that's just how he was. Then came the sound of doors opening once again to bring him from his thoughts. A dude had walked out sporting the apparel of a Dipu shinobi, and by some way thought of him as a big shot. "Umm, no you must mean one of the others like Rika or Cyrus. They're all pretty cool. I, on the other hand, tend not to do much." It was a nice compliment though. The first opponent had surprisingly made it onto his good side. Haru thought there would be a signal of some sort like a bell ringing, but the guy just started with the first move. Blinding his sight with a dense mist, he thought the dude would continue with something else but Haru couldn't here a single thing from his side. Moving the lolly from the left side of his mouth to the right, he placed the blades upon each other like scissors. Kiba's sensory abilities were very impressive when the blades were in contact, yet even if they weren't the blades had separate awesome abilities still. Using their wind displacement sensory, Haru found his target dashing for him. "Ohh..." Eyes quickly shifted hue and form as he moved at blinding light to get behind him before swiftly slashing at his neck to decapitate him with S-rank strength. - Kiba - Sleeping Traits:

Kiba is the strangest of the blades are while the rest are mainly made for combat Kiba is mainly made for sensory. The right blade utilizes Electrolocation while the left blade uses Magnetism each being able to be placed on each other to utilize wind displacement sensory SSS-rank and below as long as they are kept touched together. Separate their sensory abilities are still top notch as the right blade is able to track speeds up to SS-rank and below and reveal concealed things through the electrons one releases during movement as long as said object is within a 15 feet radius of the user. The left blade is able to detect metallic and magnetic objects and identify weapons that have been concealed with hiding techniques SS-rank and below as long as they are within 15 feet of the user. Combined this is increased to 30 feet of wind displacement sensory allowing the user to detect incoming things within that radius even when concealed unless it specifically hides from Wind Displacement Sensory SS-rank and below. The reason the blades are said to be "the sharpest swords" is not because of the blades themselves rather they are able to utilize kinetic forces of movement to increase their defense piercing meaning the faster the user moves while swinging them through the air the higher defense piercing the weapons obtain.

This speed has no limit as some have been seen mastering it and using speeds to actually move to half the speed of light if not that. Those that use this technique too much can suffer extreme fatigue and can die from a heart attack.

| The guy would drop like a puppet with his strings cut, blinding light speeds not withstanding the sheer strength and speed of such an attack well lets just say he had no chance against it. When his head went flying the mist would clear and his umbrella would clatter to the ground while the door opened out walking a petite kunoichi who would brush a stray hair behind her pointed ears. She would smile at him before winking, a beam of ambient chakra darting out of her eyes heading straight for his chest. It would move at vacuum release speeds fully intent on piercing straight through his heart as she wasn't all nice and flirty but like any good femme fatale she knew how to kill and to do it as mercilessly as possible after all it was just a game these Pit's were a game of death. - Spoiler:

Description: The Soulless gathers ambient chakra into either a single or both eyes before projecting it outward in a thin but highly compressed laser of ambient chakra at vacuum release speeds aimed at whatever they are looking at. This technique is very subtle and due to the lack of hand seals needed to utilize can be done with little to no warning requiring A-rank reaction or a chakra sensory technique A-rank or above in order to react in time to dodge, or S-rank speed. This technique covers a distance of 40 feet to deal A-rank chakra based damage. When utilized with both eyes it can be maintained over additional posts in order to pierce through defensive structures costing an additional B-rank of chakra each post (total) maintained to deal constant damage.

| "Hm, I suppose i'd grade you as a Pawn. But that isn't actually bad...it just isn't that good either. The Pawn being the piece of potential that is." That piece could easily decide the flow of the game despite it's low maneuverability. A game would be nice right about now, maybe he could bother a fellow Blade for a match but he had things to do here. There was one down, now six more were left to deal with. The mist would clear as Haru reflexively flicked the blood from Kiba. The man's blood splattered against the hard tile floor, painting two small edgy crescents along it. The Kyougan belonging to his clan would drift towards the gates at the opposite end of the arena as they opened. A small statured woman would stroll out. He wondered how this round would go, already knowing it's ending so the only interesting part lay in what came beforehand. The wink and smile dashed his bearing as he smiled back, throwing a small wave in as well. Then came the laser eye beam. The Kyougan slowing all motion within his range of sight, it had actually been a while since he evoked the dojutsu and used it. "She had a nice smile..." Shadow stepping to the left, more like a hop, he would dodge the beam. As soon as his foot touched the arena floor, he'd race for the kunoichi from her right in an arch motion with both blades at his sides. Making all his movements at blinding light, he was sure no one in the crowd could keep up with their eyes alone unless they were experienced also in battle and killing. Once there Kiba would dance, one rushing for the side of her neck aiming to sever that connection between body and mind. The other would zip to slide through the front of the neck, going for the sure deal method by cleanly separating the two. - Spoiler:

| Right before he could hit and thus end her life she would teleport, only to reappear right behind Haru her mouth open firing her most powerful technique in a bit to hopefully catch him off guard and overwhelm him, the ambient chakra pouring out and racing forward at blinding light speeds with the spectators roaring in approval as it was flashy yet seemed to be a devastating technique if it did hit. When she reappeared she wasn't alone however as there was two others that where the same as her most likely a doppelganger or perhaps she was the original either way she had seen how he effortlessly took care of the other opponent and while she couldn't match him physical she would use every trick she could in order to retain her edge. The other one would watch to see whether Haru survived her assault before she decided to make her own moves. - Spoiler:

Description: A frightening technique which allows a Soulless to instantly teleport by shifting their body out of the physical world into Limbo and back out again in order to escape an attack. The specific Soulless materializes after teleporting is based on their eye sight, as a Soulless is required to be able to see exactly where they are teleporting to in order to utilize this technique. When this technique is in use the Soulless' body vanishes, unless an opponent has chakra vision equal to the rank of the Soulless in which they simply see the Soulless become transparent, before reappearing in a new location. This technique serves as the Soulless get out of jail free card similar to Body Replacement or Reject and thus is only able to be utilized Once per topic.

Description: Soulless are capable of manifesting copies of themselves which have the same tiers as the original however each Doppelganger has part of the overall amount of chakra the Soulless possesses. Despite that Doppelganger's are quite useful due to being a key part of Advanced Soul Tech due to their unique relationship with Soul Orbs.

Description: One of the more dangerous techniques in a Soulless' arsenal due to it's destructive capability, this technique requires a Soulless to gather ambient chakra into their mouth before opening it releasing a beam moving at Blinding Light speeds with 5 foot radius (width) which stretches over a distance of 100 feet leaving a trail of destruction in it's wake. When colliding with an opponent they are dealt S-rank chakra damage and are pushed back with the beam to deal knockback over that distance with victims potentially sustaining additional physical damage as they are drilled through objects while crossing said distance. They are however capable of using S-rank strength tiers to root themselves in place or A-rank strength tiers if the target has S-rank endurance tiers.

| Those eyes slowed down all of it. The three tomoe swirling as he carried out his moves, like a player watching the board while the pieces moved. As his blade met nothing but air his eyes would become enlarged, she had actually surprised him. Haru didn't expect her to vanish as she did, which brought a small smile to his visage as his eyes swept in her direction. Still in mid swing Haru would release the blades to fly and stab the arena wall. In the next moment two orbs were constructed and melded. Cloaked now in an aura of black chakra, and green rings upon his wrists and ankles. With s-rank strength he readied himself before thrusting forward with both hands toward the beam. All his movements at blinding light, he wondered if his technique would do the job since this was actually his first time applying it in actual combat. If it did, he would continue through to his now two opponents at crashing ground. Eager to see what was next. - Spoiler:

Description:
This technique is created through the fusing of both Queen(A-rank blood price) and Knight to produce a combination of their abilties. Haru accomplishes this by allowing their magnetic fields to mesh while incorporating the necessary electromagnetic needs of the new technique field to stabilize. The abilities taken in to account here are Queen's capability to tear through just about anything by pulling away the magnetized atoms of what it comes in contact with, along with Knight's ability to assimilate the properties of whatever it comes in contact with. However, instead of being an orb, Haru manipulates knight to cover himself entirely before introducing Queen. At that point the black and red orb would be assimilated by knight, turning the green aura that surrounded him into a black one. The black chakra aura is accompanied by glowing green rings that spin at blinding light thus tear at the same level, these rings are paired in twos and each two inerlock. Each pair is located around both Haru's wrists, and ankles. The rings are smaller and far more condensed magnetic fields that are responsible for the pulling away or tearing of Haru's targets. These magnetic fields now given off by Haru affects out to seven feet from him so anything that comes within that range is magnetized. Due to the high velocity spin of the rings the target's atoms will be pulled as well but not on a normal scale, the pull in the range is only enough that it lowers the defense and endurance tier of those within it by one every ten posts. At the ring's, the pull is at it's strongest that any contact with either Haru's hands or feet instantly lower the defense and endurance tier at that point by one. Using this technique allows Haru to tear through S-rank and below jutsu and defensive structures, deal S-rank tear damage. It is also capable nulling A-rank and below jutsu with his hands or feet due to the rate of pulling apart the magnetized atoms that compose the jutsu, if it has any. This technique is manageable until a certain time then a constant B-rank blood price can be given to uphold the technique. At genin-five posts before needing to sacrifice blood, chunin/T-jonin is ten, Jonin is fifteen, kage is twenty.

| The beam would be torn apart along with the girl being split apart as well blood spraying around as the doppelganger was killed, the other two watching would try their own attacks one firing another Ambient Soul: Chakra Beam while the other would try to use another Ambient Soul Chakra Laser to mop things up nicely trying to capitalize on him either being locked in place trying to deal with the Chakra Beam leaving him vulnerable to being struck dead by her own attack, it was a combination they tried only when they were pressed but seeing as their opponent was quite capable they needed to pull out all the stops unless they just might die here. | |

| It worked. Queen's Knight had so far proved to reach his expectations when actually put against a real foe, and not a lifeless training dummy. the nulling effect had also proved satisfactory. There was one down now as even the blood that sprayed near him visually vanished like dust, yet really was broken down even further on an atomic level. Only two remained as he gazed at them unleashing more beam attacks. "Hm, okay then.." As the two beams drew near Haru would dash to the left out their path before kicking off at blinding light to close in on them. He didn't feel like prolonging this round any further. Hands at his front forming an 'X', he readied to completely tear through his opponent. - Spoiler:

| She was slower, weaker and he could dodge her final gambit no she knew she couldn't win this and thus she would have to either let him kill her or the alternative. I forfeit! You are the victor. The soulless said revealing herself to be a shogunate soldier who was trying her luck at a promotion. Sure the opportunity to fight a Blade and claim said Blade was very tempting but unfortunately the Shogun had chosen wisely. The door would open and if Haru let her escape she would bow and walk out only for another person to walk in. Two down huh, you Blades are so annoying thinking you are the best of the best, well let's put that to the test shall we. Though I must say I have a more...personal reason to put you down after all one who doesn't stand with his clan and instead abandons them to cozy with others well that person shouldn't be in any position of power the woman who entered said while drawing her Katana and activating her Kyougan which would move to stage 2. - Spoiler:

Their speed and agility is increased to chunin levels. Many genin have this few academy students have this. The requirement for this eye is to kill a samurai genin or a chunin level opponent.

They are able to perfectly read their opponents actions and intentions as they gain full range of vision in front of them. Their speed and agility increase to jonin level. | As he almost sealed the deal on this round the girl had forfeited. "Oh? Hmm... very well then." Halting his rush, Haru would allow her to exit the arena. The Mishura wasn't a bad guy after all, if he didn't have to kill then he wouldn't... or something along those lines. Plus it turned out she was a comrade under the shogunate, it would be a disgrace on the graves of his men who died for him, in his first war against the ASN, if he were to knowingly kill another simply to rank up. After returning a bow, Haru would watch as his next opponent entered. It was another who took his status as a blade for who he was and to be honest it bored him causing a slight frown to form. Yet, that didn't last for long as he began to ponder what was personal between him and her. he hadn't met this woman before now or had he? Then as her eyes changed hue and the tomoe began to twirl, he realized he was against one of his clansmen. An excited grin made its way across his face. "Oho, is that so? Well it seems like you know my story completely." Haru would say as he began to roll and and crack his neck, before flexing his hands by repeatedly opening and then closing them. It was true that he chose the Shogunate over his clan in the past but that was simply to gain more strength for his clan but the past was just that. He was sure they would let him back in at some point if he asked nicely. "Now sister, lets begin." In a swift motion his right arm would blur from his side only to be noticed that it seemed to have not moved at all, to any watching with knowledge of iado would notice somewhat of a similarity. A beam of pulse chakra would be shot, but as it blitzed towards it's destination at vacuum release the beam would branch off more and more until now numerous rays were about to envelope all within her vicinity. - Spoiler:

This, in Haru's case, is more similar to that of quickly removing a pistol from it's holster, firing a shot, and then quickly placing the pistol back in the holster. Being a variation of Iaido, the quickness in draw and release speed is necessary as it enables the cancelation/interruption of the opponent forming hand seals within five feet of the user, this is because initially the speed of the shots are a rank higher within the first five feet, which after passing that the five feet mark slows down to the speed equal to his rank. Haru shoots beams of either positive or negative electromagnetic energy at speeds and strength equal to his rank, after initial. Which depending on if the target has an opposite or same charge will increase/decrease the beams' speed. The downside is that after a certain number of shots the technique goes through a cooldown stage of two posts. Number of shots corresponding with rank: AS=5, Genin=10, Chunin=15, Jounin=25, Kage=35.

Haru focuses many regular shots of electromagnetic energy into one before firing, after being shot the single beam branches off into five and those five branch off once again into five making a total of twenty-five. The beams each move at vacuum release speed and on impact will expand into a fifteen foot diameter electrical explosion dealing c-rank electrocution damage. However, these explosions will quickly begin to stack on to one another and create an explosion quintuple that of a regular one, and if the target is caught within they will be dealt s-rank electrocution damage. This will leave their body in a state of over stimulus from the residual electricity overwhelming their body unless they possess a-rank or higher endurance tiers.

| Fast. But only fitting of a Mishura with that level of eyes. She thought to herself having been able to visualize when he pulled his hand out of his pocket and then replaced it back into it. Similarly she could see exactly how fast his attack was and would tighten the grip on her weapon immediately strafing to the right and then running along the wall avoiding the impact from the electromagnetic energy and the explosions which followed right after another. She would continue to run while using her free hand to cup her mouth before exhaling outward resulting in a tremendous amount of flame to be exhaled towards him also at vacuum release speeds as she continued to run holding the flame essentially trying to surround him with fire to cut off his avenue of escape if she didn't manage to incinerate him outright. - Spoiler:

Description: Requires Kyougan Stg 2 Currently active. The result of combining Shadow Step with Tenmetsu Style: Vacuum Release to produce an improved type of speed capable of outstripping even the samurai in sheer velocity. The user is now capable of moving at A-rank++ speed similar to one using tier chaining to bolster their movement yet retain the sound barrier breaking properties of Vacuum Release. Similar to before the user's body is not visible however now it is more difficult to discern where they are unless the opponent either has A-rank Reaction Tiers or a Time-Slowing Dojutsu/Muscle Tension with A-rank speed. The cloud of steam leaves a small trail 4ft behind the user which is often mistaken to be where the user is if the opponent is unable to track the user's movement.

If used upon dense, combustible terrain — such as a forest — the confined area can greatly increase the possibility of the target's incineration to 80 ft. By holding the tiger seal the user can maintain this technique over additional posts while paying a B-rank of chakra each post (total) to keep up the flames to deal A-rank fire release damage each turn victims spend in contact with said flames.

| "Not bad." She had some speed as she should being a mishura with the kyougan but back too the giant flames that were moving in an attempt to sear and burn him to ashes. At first he was going to try and null the justu with his current technique but another thought crossed his mind. he'd watch her spew the flames as she circled him and in response manifested a red orb in his left palm. As it was complete, he'd leave the orb to take the attack as he leaped into the air above the flames at blinding light and to the crowds awe would stay there looking down upon what would transpire. The orb was the original knight he had created for instances just like this, sort of. As the flames came within knight's field they would be absorbed as a whole creating a large sphere of fire before the flames would shrink down and morph into humanoid shape. Creating a knight of fire similar to himself, while also taking on the properties of the fire jutsu. Knight would then run towards the girl at vacuum release and if he managed to get within close enough would unleash a flurry of punches and kicks. While this went on, haru would bring his black aura coated hands to face the woman and begin to focus more electromagnetic energy for his next tactic. - Spoiler:

Description: This technique works by Haru turning the ground and himself into electromagnets then attributing the same charge to himself and the ground, which creates a repulsive force between the two. Haru controls the amount of force with chakra so as to not damage himself, and to control the height of his ascension and descension as the force is only exerted in upward and downward directions. So moving left and right would require no chakra exertion. This gives Haru a form of flight, but in this state of movement he can only move as fast as one rank below the rank of speed he is capable of.

Haru manifests a red orb of electromagnetic energy with a uniquely structured magnetic field. After creating said orb, he introduces it to a significant amount of any substance in the area, including gases. Upon doing so, Knight's field draws in the atoms of an A-rank or lower substance by attraction and then shapes the substance as a whole to fill the shape of it's magnetic field. The end result would be a knight the size of Haru himself, imbued with the properties of whatever substance it assimilated. Knight can be destroyed by techniques a rank higher than it's rank, unless it has a higher defensive tier that corresponds with the technique. In that case the technique would need to be higher than it's corresponding tier. However, if there is an abundance of the material it was constructed out of upon destruction, then it's magnetic field will reform Knight completely after two posts. Optionally, to increase the knights effectiveness in battle a blood price can be inserted into the orb. Depending on the blood price given, the tiers of the Knights will reflect that in rank. Tech cannot be used on the earth, air, or ocean themselves, not including jutsu that make use of these respective elements.

| The Mishura girl would pause only to marvel at what had just occured, you see shinobi are inherently curious creatures, it's one of the reasons why when in a fight if one of them decided to explain the properties of their technique the other was most likely to stop fighting just to gather info. It was also why when seeing things they haven't before they are likely to watch it in awe trying to understand exactly how it occured so that they too might be able to preform such a feat in the future. Regardless said feat would allow the Knight to catch up to her though when the first punch was thrown she merely blocked it with her sword which would cause the flame comprising the Knight to be sucked into her weapon courtesy of her weapon ability. The Blade would proceed to turn a bright red as there was quite an amount of fire comprising said Knight and the Mishura girl would attempt to rush Haru seemingly remaining in place while separating into four copies of herself as she attempted to use Five Blinding Strikes on her opponent. She and her copies all would vanish before reappearing near Haru one thrusting forward front, back, to his left & to his left respectively while the last would come from above. - Spoiler:

Samurai Weapon Ability - This weapon has the ability to absorb Fire Materia or Fire stemming from Fire Release techniques used by the wielder of this weapon. Upon absorbing the fire the weapon's damage changes from inflicting non-elemental physical damage to inflicting variable Fire Release Physical damage depending on the amount of fire materia absorbed. Depending on the rank of the weapon's wielder the amount of fire which can be absorbed varies.

Name: Tenmestu Style: Blinding Five Strikes

Description: The second the user begins to draw their sword they start moving at high speeds while still appearing to stand in their original position. It appears like they made 4 clones of themselves each now with their sword drawn. The next second the user and clones disappear and reappear surrounding the opponent, all of them in a different thrusting stance appearing to be blinking as they truly aren’t there. This itself is a feint resulting in victims with dojutsu which heighten reaction speed by slowing down movement being fooled into dodging prematurely and unless they have a higher speed than the user this technique hits instantly. Finally the user attacks after the feint dealing four strikes and appearing before the opponent sword still drawn before disappearing again and dealing a final blow. This move is done at such high-speeds that there is generally no room to dodge and requires A-rank reaction tiers to even notice it coming.
