Team Information

Chunin
Chunin rank shinobi are able to lead Academy Students, Genin and other Chunin.

Chunin can become Academy Instructors allowing them to establish a fixed curriculum for Academy Students and develop their own Genin exam for said Academy Students in which they must pass before being able to graduate. The number of Academy students an Academy Instructor can teach at once is 10. The Academy Instructor is able to each their Academy Students any C-rank jutsu through dual training and can teach them up to 3 B-ranks and/or 1 A-rank that the Academy Instructor knows.

Chunin can also lead groups of two elite genin on special missions of B-rank and below and up to four genin in special retrieval missions or to stop defections of Genin rank and below potential missing nin. Finally when dealing with leading other chunin, groups of up to three or four may be established for specific purposes in which the acting leader directs the others as needed until the mission is over.

Tokubetsu Jonin

T. Jonin rank Shinobi are able to lead Academy Students, Genin & Chunin.

T. Jonin have the ability to fill in for Jonin if the situation is dire enough to warrant said substitution, because of that they have the ability to issue out orders to Academy Students, lead three-man squads of genin as well as direct two or three-man squads of chunin when the situation requires it.

Under normal circumstances however T. Jonin are unable to take on squads instead they may join an active Jonin led Genin team for missions the highest rank mission the team can now take is an A-rank. They are also the proctors for exams and form the main village security. The max number of Tobetsu jonin that can join a team is 1 making a 5 man team. Once the 5 man team limit is made no other Tobetsu jonin can join.

Jonin

Jonin rank Shinobi are able to lead Genin, Chunin & T. Jonin

Jonin rank shinobi typically take on three-man squads of genin which are then brought along for various missions ranging from C-A with C-rank missions being the most frequent, B-rank missions being often when the team is comprised of elite genin and A-rank being extremely rare if a Chunin &/or T. Jonin is not present on the team. They can also be direct teachers to Genin and can teach them any B-rank jutsu as well as 1 A-rank jutsu that the Jonin knows.

Occasionally the three-man genin squad decides to stay together upon reaching chunin rank and the Jonin squad leader is now allowed to take them on more difficult missions to further hone their skills ranging from B-S with B-rank missions being the most frequent, A-rank missions less frequent, while S-rank being extremely rare unless the team is comprised of Elite Chunin &/or a T. Jonin is present to assist the team. In this case the Jonin is able to teach them any A-rank jutsu as well as 1 S-rank jutsu that the Jonin knows.

Hunter Nin

Hunter Nin are able to lead Genin, Chunin, T. Jonin & other Hunter Nin

Hunter Nin typically take on one or two Chunin as their apprentices in order to prepare them for a future career as a Hunter Nin. While apprenticing under a Hunter Nin these lower rank shinobi are brought along B-S rank missions with B-rank missions being the most frequent, A-rank missions being often while S-rank being rare unless the team is comprised of Elite Chunin &/or T. Jonin are present to assist the team. Hunter Nin are able to teach their apprentices any A-rank jutsu as well as 1 S-rank jutsu that the Hunter Nin knows.

Hunter Nin are also able to be accompanied by T. Jonin when they are attempting to hunt multiple targets at once and require backup. These hunts typically involve B-A rank missing nin and often occur in groups of three with two T. Jonin supporting one Hunter Nin or five with four T. Jonin supporting one Hunter Nin.

Hunter Nin are likewise able to lead other Hunter Nin when they are attempting to hunt down powerful targets and require additional support. These hunts typically involve A-S rank missing nin and often occur in groups of two up to five with the most experienced hunter nin heading the operation.

Hunter Nin are able to fill in for Jonin and lead a three-man squad of genin, when doing so they function just like a normal Jonin squad leader does however this isn't the usual course of action and may only be allowed when there aren't jonin capable of doing so.

Medical Nin

Med Nin are able to lead Chunin, T. Jonin & Jonin

Med Nin despite having a major role in the leadership of the village are able to take on Chunin & T. Jonin rank apprentices in the medical field each Med Nin being able to have one of each at a time with the lower rank being their junior apprentice and the higher rank being their senior apprentice. They are able to accompany the Med Nin on missions which involve medical treatment.

Med Nin are in total control over all medical situations and do not answer to any one else other than the Head Medic & the Kage when it comes to things involving medical practice. Because of that they can order around Jonin during such times that medical treatment is a dire need.

In addition Medical Nin can fill in for squad Jonin in which the Med Nin function just like a normal jonin squad leader does however this isn't the norm and is only allowed when there isn't a jonin capable of filling this role.

Head Jonin

Head Jonin are only able to lead in times of war otherwise they function like a Jonin in all other areas. In times of war however they are capable of leading all Shinobi other than Sannin & Hunter Nin and act as the in-field general of the shinobi forces deferring only to the Kage.

Sannin

Sannin are able to lead Genin, Chunin & Jonin.

Sannin typically pick up a genin as their student which can be done at the same time as the genin is being taught by a Jonin squad leader. When this is being done the Sannin can teach the genin any A-rank and below technique as well as an S-rank technique that the Sannin knows.

Sannin are also able to lead three-man genin, chunin or jonin squads and take them out on missions similar to a squad jonin and when doing so function as a normal jonin squad leader would. However they can take the team on missions ranging from B-SS rank. With B-rank missions being very frequent, A-rank missions being less frequent, S-rank being very rare in squads without Chunin &/or T. Jonin back up and SS-rank being extremely rare and only done in squads with Jonin with or without back up from T. Jonin.

A Sannin can also co-lead multiple four-man teams of 1 Chunin and 3 Genin the limit is 3, Although all of the chunin team leaders must be former students of the said Sannin.

Kage

The Kage is in control over all of the Shinobi in his village at all times however in times of war while being the General he only directly controls the Sannin and the Hunter Nin while leaving the bulk of the shinobi forces to his/her Head Jonin while interfering only if needed. In dire circumstances a Kage can lead a squad into battle however it is comprised of usually the three Sannin in the village however if one is missing/dead it can be substituted with an S-Class Hunter Nin or Combat Medical Nin as required.
