| For a long time now the Land of Shadows has been coated with a gargantuan dome of hardened volcanic rock, shrouding the entire land in perpetual dark, the inhabitants of such being forced to endure and adapt to such conditions. However there has to be an entrance into such a land, this being The Shadow Gate.First of all the place where the gate is located is a massive semi-circular hole gouged out of the volcanic rock, smooth edges cut into the stone. Inside this entrance there is naught but shadows, it being nearly impossible to see even more than five feet into the darkness from outside... But the inside can see out. Either side of the semi-circular opening and to the inside, resting with part of the outer-edge of the tower actually resting inside of the wall. With this there are several firing slots that aim out of the dome itself to allow for archers to strike out at opponents. Other than this the towers are hidden from view from outside of the dome. Either side of the hole, connected to the towers are the makings of a massive gate mechanism that, with a button press from the fortress, slides two gargantuan plates forwards to lock the hole that leads into the Land of Shadows. This means that if this gate is locked, no one can leave or enter the Land of Shadows without either finding another way in or destroying the gate which is not very easy at all. Then comes the fortress which sits like a squat crab several hundred feet into the shadows, impossible to see from outside and nearly impossible to see even when one has entered the Land of Shadows. Its walls are thick if short and the entirety of the fortress is hunkered down to make it very difficult to notice at a distance. Fortification Level - 3 (For Future Upgrades) - Special Slots/Traps:
Traps - The outside of the dome is protected by a massive mine-field, small explosive devices that are armed with a spring underneath to launch them into the air. After a second, at which they are around six feet up, the orb of metal detonates due to explosive tags built inside of them, sending shrapnel around them in a thirty foot radius dealing C-Rank damage and causing those hit to lose a C-Rank of blood every post due to lacerations.

Special Slot 1 - The Great Gates - The true Gates of the Land of Shadows are not only gargantuan but multiple. (Only one gate closes at level 1). There are five of these gates that are extremely thick and very heavy but due to their weight they move very slowly when closing over. These gates have durability equivalent to an SS-Rank (each) but only move at Bullet Release speeds when closing, now not every gate needs to be closed at once, instead different gates can be closed at different times for whatever reasons.
Cost to Repair Gate = 5000 Xel
Special Slot 2 - The Scouring Waste - Also due to the volcanic release eons ago that created the covering of the Land of Shadows, a lot of the ground is covered in fine dust, that of Ash and even bone dust of hundreds of years old creatures. Those of the Land of Shadows of course have taken advantage of such a thing. There are several air vents mounted into the entrance of the Land of Shadows that when triggered from the fortress, spout massive gusts of air upwards into the dust, creating a massive dust storm to blind and choke opponents. This stops any form of normal sight, hearing or smell due to the cloying nature of the dust and whirring of the vents as well as dealing a C-Rank of suffocation damage each post that someone stands in the storm.
Special Slot 3 - The Vanishing Fortress - When a Fortress is the last line of defense, it needs some way to keep itself hidden much like the Land of Shadows inhabitants who are very good at concealment. When this is activated from the Fortress, the entire fortress sinks into the ground, vanishing from sight and protecting all troops within from enemy attack before it can strike upwards and release the troops.
