Chuunin Exam Semifinalists

Roxas had made it. He was now a semifinalists in the Chuunin Examination. Sure, he hadn't gotten here the way he imagined it. In fact he really never expected to pass the second round so easily. He had gotten lucky on who his opponent had been. Sapphire and Ruby did not really wish to fight, so Roxas did not have to fight with his all to pass. It was a bit of an embarrassing to have succeeded in moving on that way, compared to others who had to fight so hard to move on. It was somewhat insulting, but Roxas did not argue.

After being teleported out of the second round examination, Roxas was told to wait in the waiting room of the main building for the rest of the participants where afterwards the next exam would be told to them. He had made his way there and was now sitting on a sofa with a water in hand. After whatever Sapphire had done to him, Roxas had felt somewhat drained. Though he didn't exactly need to eat or drink, it comforted him. All he really needed was rest.

There were already others in the meeting room, three talking among themselves with one blissfully asleep and one staring at Roxas with a stoic facial expression. Diamond was listening to the conversation between her kid sisters and Aquamarine, the two were close friends not surprising as they had similar personalities generally being nice people to be around, though Quartz was far more innocent than nice while Aquamarine was perhaps just a genuinely nice person despite being part of their organization. Diamond would lean back against the chair she was sitting in scanning the area for more people to enter mainly out of a mixture of boredom and curiosity. She knew she probably would not fight this round anyways the Shogun couldn't exactly place a wolf among sheep and not expect bloodshed to occur. Speaking of blood shed, her eyes would linger on Topaz for a moment before trailing his view to Roxas, it would seem that was the boy Topaz had taken an interest in, if he wasn't strong then he might lose more than just his arm this time. Onyx must you sleep at a time like this. Diamond whispered leaning over to the right and resting her lips near Onyx's ear causing him to stiffen but otherwise barely move.

I see you made it. Did you find my present helpful? Topaz would suddenly say his voice seemingly bored and uninterested however those who knew him would see beyond the act. He was very interested in infuriating Roxas which was part of the reason why he didn't even bother to say his name albeit knowing it. He would rather his opponent think he was toying with him but not seeing Roxas as someone whose name was even worth remembering. Sure it was to an extent as he had flown off the handle purely to make it to the third round so that he would be able to crush him. The third round would be interesting very interesting indeed.

"Aawwhhh..." Went the young Mishura as he strolled into the waiting room. He had just woken up from a nice nap on one those comfy beds in the infirmary. Actually, he had gotten scolded really badly by one of the medical nin about using beds reserved for the injured exams participants. Which was a bummer. He could've been injured for all they knew. Hmm. Maybe they checked him while he was asleep with that glowing green hand trick. Yeah, that sounds legit. Anyway, Haru would scan the room before he ran and leapt into something very familiar, a couch. He landed somewhat softly before immediately going into the fetal position. His hands clasped underneath his head on the arm of the couch, but as he moved to stretch out his legs. For some odd reason his feet kept stopping short of the desired extension. Like there was something blocking them. This was very frustrating to the Mishura. Lifting his head up from his hand pillow, eyes of crimson shot a glare at whatever was keeping him from napping. His gaze would fall on someone, whose face rang a few bells in his head. Oh yeah, Roxas, my teammate. His expression would soon turn into a cheerful one. "Oooh, sup Rox?"

Roxas heard Topaz from across the room, but instead of replying right away, he finished his water bottle and sighed. With a slight stretch he looked over at the boy and smiled. "Present? Oh, you mean the arm? Nah, I didn't need it. Thanks though." said Roxas. He scanned the room once, looking at the three others who were here before looking back at Topaz. "Oh, and Topaz... You shouldn't stare. As Jade said, staring is rude. Speaking of Jade, where is she? She seems a lot more fun to talk too, yah know, with the not constantly brooding or trying to act tough thing going on? Makes for much better conversation." Roxas then pulled another water bottle from his bag before looking at the door as it opened.

Haru had walked in, a little late compared to them getting out of the exam at the same time. The young Mishura had come to Roxas's table and sat, speaking to him. "Hello Haru. Not much, just relaxing before the third stage. Have you seen Jinpachi around?" asked Roxas, thinking the other boy was a bit late too. So far, he saw that only six people were in here, counting Jinpachi there would be seven people so far who had passed onto the next exam.

Upon making it through the second round, she was told to meet up in the meeting room along with the other genin who passed. She replied and decided to go to the room taking a deep breath knowing that the round was over, and she can relax and collect herself for the next round. "It's only gonna get harder from here on out" she says to herself heading to the meeting room. As she opened the door and looked inside, she seen the other genin conversing along with each other. She started walking and looking around then she found an empty chair by the wall, and decided to go sit down.

Kimiko was still in shock as Sapphire made Ruby surrender just like that! She was sent off to the main building and told to wait for the next round. She grew a small blush as she sat in the corner of the resting room. She held her cheeks and giggled quietly, Am I really that cute?~ Hehehe! She looked around and noticed some familiar faces... Like Roxas and a few of the other gems. She let go of her face and tried to look serious so she could be ready for anything. She remembered this was her Chunin exam, she couldn't just relax to much, this waiting room could be a part of the exam too. She just sat there waiting for the next part of the exam.

Being teleported into the original location, he looked around and nodded. Upon seeing Kimiko move over to the corner he followed along and crouched down in front of her. A soft screech came out due to Morghul's haft dragging along the ground. He sighed quietly and reached up, rubbing his chin. "Kimiko Sasori, a pleasure," He started, his voice quiet while his eyebrows furrowed. He didn't really know what he wanted to say but she had been his ally for a small while so he may as well say something. "Fight well and never give up, I'll see you on the other side perhaps," He nodded and took out a kunai, rotating it around his fingers before stabbing it into the ground in front of her. "You'll do well if you play smart... Be careful, I'd rather not see you hurt," Arikiko frowned for a second but he stood up and turned away. It was time to fight after all, he had many things to do.

Well just as Arikiko turned around, it was truthfully a touching moment. Only allies for such a small time and he cared for her so. She internally swooned~ not because of the action but because "It's just like all the books I've read!~ kyaaaaa~" Of course she smiled at the turned boy and bowed her head. "Thank you Arikiko! I plan on seeing you on that other side! So you better not lose whatever this round is!!" She exclaimed as she was now pumped. She sat back down and mediated, beads in hand and waited for her name to be called.
