| Kai-a would be within the shifting marshlands awaiting her team as she streched and I mean abnormally stretched preparing for battle between either teams within the first round even possibly her own but hopefully she could fight with the two and make history, she had on a special gi which was all black and metal plated with Yaju symbols scattered across the armor the color was Yaju Mammal alignment specific for her own reasons. Around her waist was her belt awaiting use and along with that today hidden under her gi she had on her pheromone barbs. Now all she could do was wait as she tapped her foot impatiently. |

| Xander had already arrived but was crouching down on the branch of a tree observing the area and not trying to make his presence noticeable, if she noticed him he would come down and meet her otherwise what was the point in revealing his positioning just yet. It would be better for him to remain hidden just in case they ran into trouble early on. Who was to say that none of the other teams wouldn't try to get the drop on them. So a Yaju and a Mishura. Hmm. Interesting seems like my lucky day. he mused to himself silently as he remembered the names on the team he was in, he would see how powerful these two were, hopefully they wouldn't drag him down too much. His outfit consisted of his normal gi of grey and black. Basilisk was on his side and his flak jacket was currently on layered with the various weapons he would need, sure white was an annoying color but stand just right and it blended into the skyline. |

| Tikatchi would arrive at the marshlands and immediately going to meet his team upon arriving.he would look to the girl first acknowledging her and then too the boy he would nod as he walked over to them he wore the clan head robe and under that his normal battle gear while his mask hid his face for now he was sure the others could tell whom he was. He would readjust his habakusha kohai so that the blades rested comfortably on his back before he would introduce himself to the others names tika nice to meet u he'd say ***********************  - Spoiler:

| While the three of them were getting to know each other, a team would begin to creep up on them, they were all wearing Shogunate flak jackets and forehead protectors. A group of three one being a girl with a odd sword it looked like a great-sword however it was as if it had been cut in half what would of been the point being a straight blunted edge while either side were bladed. There was a male who would go through hand seals before spreading a thick mist around the entire area using the moisture from the swamp, and the third member of the ground had sunk into the swamp upon entering the area. All three would become deathly quiet when the mist went up and to the Taishoku, Xander and Kai-a it would seem as if the area just got foggy. Shinobi 1 - Spoiler:

Description: The user blends in with water to be undetected by the enemy, unless they possess a sensory technique which can detect underwater movement B-rank or above. It was shown that this technique is usable even in water as shallow as a puddle, and the user can sink into water surfaces at crashing ground speed, when moving through the water they still need to breathe however if they have a breathing mask or any other thing which would allow them to breathe underwater they can remain submerged indefinitely.

| Kai-a would see the three with her third eye then quickly open her gates up too the gate of life, then utilizing her primal adrenaline would grab her staff at A rank speeds before spinning it while doing half handseals, the mist or fog would be blown away at crashing grounds speeds and before it fully was pushed away Kai-a would jump forward to move at SS rank while floating toward the girl at SS rank speeds or levitating aimed to deliver a shocking lariat which would most likely end the girl. After that kai would throw two kunai at the other targets each moving SS rank speeds due to being thrown with SS rank strength using her power to boost the speed off the kunai and aimed at their ankles. Her part was done for now she would watch her teammates closely jus incase you never know and it was always good too get a view of their combat skills. - Spoiler:

Description: The user opens the first of the Eight Gates removing the restraint of the brain on the muscles allowing B-rank strength,speed and endurance. However due to the strain on their body they can only maintain this technique for 5 posts before succumbing to the intense pain which follows leaving them in a vulnerable state. The Amount of time this technique can be maintained increased by 1 post with each rank up starting from genin, because this is the first gate it sets the time limit for all of the subsequent gate techniques however the time can be affected by the opening of other gates. In addition another way of increasing the Gates is by All Taijutsu Training. Multiple Training of this technique increases the post duration by 1 each time.

Description: Yaju clan members have embraced their primal side and have begun to tap into the latent power which all humans possess. During battle a Yaju clan member's adrenaline will steadily increase with them being able to stockpile this adrenaline and cycle it through their muscles for short bursts of strength, speed or endurance. Each post (total) they gain +1 to their Adrenaline limit. Every +1 can be converted into +1 rank of either strength, speed or endurance this adrenaline can be stockpiled over time for +2, +3, +4 etc. However it caps out at +50 to their adrenaline limit at academy student rank, at genin rank it caps out at +100, Chunin +150, T. Jonin + 200, Jonin +250, Hunter Nin + 300, Medical Nin + 350, Head Nin +400 and Sannin at +450. Note the boosts cap out at SS-rank tiers and can be maintained for 2 posts at academy rank with every subsequent rank up adding +2 to that capping out at 10 posts at Sannin rank. The drawback of this passive is that members of the clan can not learn tiered jutsu naturally.

Description: Having such high affiliation to the unseen the Yaju have found it within their contracted rites the ability to see a living beings souls; and with them their chakra natures. Although able to be seen under special circumstances this eye is not able to be shut until the Yaju clan member is beyond this world

Description: Using her Psionic release this technique allows Kai-a to levitate in the air as well as jump mid air without the need for a natural footing. Kai-a utilize's this technique allowing her to bypass techniques which require the target to be touching the ground, it requires chakra flow to her feet in order to do this but due to the fact that the chakra stays within her body it doesn't cost chakra to maintain.

The attack is rather straight forward, but very quick, powerful and is easily capable of knocking down an opponent the attack deals S rank psionic based also deals physical damage equal too one rank above the users current strength tier.

| Xander would look as the area filled with mist his facial expression wouldn't change before he would suddenly yawn before becoming utterly silent and dropping off the tree that he was standing on before he headed deeper into the mist listening for movement. He would pick out two targets, while the third was no where to be found, seeing as he was rather skilled at killing people using silent killing it meant that this opponent was probably not in the area or using some sort of additional hiding technique to conceal themselves. And there's one. he said closing the distance between him and the man at swift release speeds and when he was within range would draw Basilisk before slicing and re-sheathing his blade in one smooth movement. - Spoiler:

Description: Cypher naturally have better reaction speed and have inbuilt senses which allow them to detect small changes and point out things that seem out of the ordinary. This sense of battle grants them the ability to react to B-rank speeds even if they don't possess sped tiers and detect opponents who are being hidden by B-rank hiding techniques. In addition when they do possess speed tiers it gives them the ability to react to speeds up to 1 rank above their own.

Description: Iaido refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from its scabbard result in much faster slashes than ones realized with the sword already drawn. This is explicitly used by Cypher simply due to their mastery of weapon based combat which allows them to literally stop opponents from preforming equal rank ninjutsu if they are within 10 feet of the opponent and use this technique. If the opponent doesn't stop however they Will sustain damage equal to the rank of the Cypher.

Description: Adhering to the principles of Iaidō, the user performs a quick and powerful slash with their sword in order to cut the intended target, before immediately re-sheathing the blade afterwards. This technique is a powerful C-rank technique simply due to the speed in which it is preformed as it can slice a person moving at C-rank speed as if it was nothing. In addition when the user has speed tiers the damage is increased by 1-rank above the user's speed tiers, if they have reaction tiers above C-rank the speed of the opponent they can slice is increased to be equivalent with their reaction tiers.

Description: Drawing on the principles of Iaido Xan has learned a technique to enhance the drawing and sheathing speed of Basilisk in battle. While typically this could be attributed to mere aesthetics he has learned to do this a specific way so that when he draws his blade he has capable of stopping the use of a physical based technique moving at crashing ground speeds or below by a target as long as they are within his displacement aura. If they do not stop however they will receive B-rank physical slicing damage as he simultaneously draws and cuts them in one smooth motion.

Description: Xan utilizes Silent Killing, however his use of it is not to ensure others do not hear him coming so that he can dispatch them without a sound, rather he preys on those who utilize Silent Killing and his unique form of Silent Killing does not use the cover of mist, fog or smoke rather the use of them merely compounds the effects. The Silent Killer technique makes use of sudden unpredictable movement and positioning to get into an opponents blind spot in a sudden instant preying upon the fact that within range of a persons eyes instead of actually seeing something the brain rather makes an assumption to fill in the fact that it isn't actually seeing something. Xan with his use of Muscle Tension, Lack of Intent & this technique is able to utilize this to his advantage entering his opponents Blind Spot and attacking from there rendering his physical attacks "Invisible" to normal eyesight and normal hearing. In addition when Chakra Suppression is used eyes with chakra vision as well as chakra sensory techniques are rendered null when used on him as his chakra is lowered to the point that it merely blends into the background. When under some form of cloak, be it mist, fog, smoke or whatever this extends to the practitioners of Silent Killing and while he will be able to register where they are they will not be able to sense the presence of his Kenjutsu.

| Tika would watch as the two would rush off into combat he'd smile a bit of nostalgia as well as jealousy hitting him as he remember his days back then when he too did as such before he would calmly and swiftly blur through handseals once ready he would exhale a stream of atomic release chakra into the atmoshpere eliminating the heavy mist that shrouded the area before he too would take off into battle though at crashing ground speeds his path was different he had one focus and that was to take out the one controlling the mist upon finding him he would fling two inferno kunai with ss-rank strength at his torso afterwards he would put on his sui kougake watching for the reaction to his opponent as well as checking to see the other two - Spoiler:

Appearance: They are made out of a black metal and look as if they were scorched recently, they are warm to the touch and radiate heat energy
Special Ability: These are unique kunai that were made infamous by a certain Kage of one of the elemental nations. These kunai have the unique ability to burst into flames at the user's command dealing additional C-rank damage to opponents. Because of that special ability numerous assaults by these kunai often engulf anything in numerous flames which stack like combination jutsu. Meaning 3 Inferno kunai hitting an opponent will result in an A-rank fire damage and so on.

Mist was dense thick, and people that didn't have X-ray vision were unable to see through it, a Yaju was one of such people, but Kai-a was fast enough to pull the attack off even though her opponent had faded out of sight, she would impact the girl snuffing the life out of her and her blood scattering out of her mouth as the taijutsu user crushed her chest causing her sword to drop from her hand and into the swamp. That was the good thing, the bad thing was what happened after, an extremely powerful technique sure killed someone but now Kai-a would be feeling the after effects of the technique she just used. The mist would turn from ordinary mist into frost with another set of hand seals strengthening the concealment effect as the air got colder, he managed to make the hand seals before Xander got to him however the follow up hand seals that he was going to do resulted in both of his hands being sliced off upon completing the technique. He would scream out in pain but his technique had already been activated and the swamp would begin to turn into a whirlpool to suck in those who were standing on it. He on the other hand would clutch his now hand-less arms to his body before pulling back fleeing mainly for his life as his main area of attack was now cut off. Thankfully his arms would not bleed for long as they quickly froze over as he cycled his ice release chakra through his arms. - Spoiler:
Used an A-rank ninjutsu so didn't fall under the effect of Iaido
Movement to cut off one hand, Iai Slicing to cut off second hand, next time specify where you are cutting with Iai Slicing as the default aim is at an opponents hands due to not allowing hand seals being the focus of Iaido.

Description: The user covers the surrounding area in a thick frost in which they can camouflage themselves and then sneak up on the enemy to attack or assassinate them. This is the advanced technique of the Hidden Mist technique which is usually triggered during Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals due to the temperature dropping. It functions just like the original save for being useful against wind dispersing techniques as it merely get's colder unless a B-rank or above wind dispersal technique is used.

Description: The user makes hand seals before channeling their chakra through their feet into a water surface that they are standing on causing the water to begin to churn at crashing ground speeds before sucking in victims who are standing on it. Once initiated this world pool lasts as long as the user maintains contact with the water surface as they use the chakra they used up in addition to chakra flow to maintain the whirlpool effect. Victims who are also in contact with the water are dragged below by the whirlpool unless they can escape with A-rank speed or A-rank strength tiers. This technique affects a large area however usually spreading over a 40 feet radius around the user however when used with a large water source such as a lake, swamp, or the open sea this radius doubles.
Name: Ice Release: Flash Freeze

Description: The user saturates a body part with Ice release chakra before striking an opponent causing them to sustain B-rank damage and if they do not have B-rank Endurance tiers the part which the user made contact with is instantly frozen requiring a thawing technique B-rank or above to unfreeze as well as a medical ninjutsu technique B-rank or above which deals with frostbite to repair the damage, if it is not healed within 2 topics however the frozen flesh becomes neurotic and dies upon being unfrozen. This technique can be used on the user's own body for the same chakra price as a emergency wound sealer by freezing the part of the body which is injured numbing it and removing the pain.
Meanwhile the one who sunk into the water seemed to get out without anyone targeting him, lucky him while under swamp water he would breath in through his rebreather before the water would begin churning thus signalling his own part of the combination technique, completely unaware of the situation happening above. The swamp water would begin to have drills emerge from within the whirl pool using the ripples they gave off by moving on the swamp surface to pin point their locations. - Spoiler:

Description: A technique that deals physical damage to the enemy with a liquid mass brought forth from underwater. Its power to kill and maim is augmented by adding a spinning motion to the compactly pressured water while it moves through the air at crashing ground speeds. During fights on water, taking advantage of its characteristic ability to attack from anywhere in a 360 degrees radius, in conjunction with other techniques for distraction, confusion and so forth, this technique has an extensive array of applications. This user's technique relies heavily on chakra control allowing the user to shoot multiple bullets depending on their mastery of this technique. At Academy Rank it is only 1 bullet, at Genin it is 2, at Chunin it is 3, at T. Jonin it's 4 and at Jonin + it is 5 thus capping out.

| Kai-a would finish her target but be dealt a heavy recoil which would cause her too yelp and yelp for help aimed mainly at tika too assist, she had went over board and it cost her extra damage on her physical body something she was not used too due too having a rubber body and what not, though as she hit the ground she would bounce back up having been moving at SS rank speeds she would hit the ground at the same speeds before bouncing into the sky abnormally and flying above, this was something she usually controlled but being all hurt and stuff she didn't even know where she was simply flying into the air her body dangling and stretching about....save me, save me. |

Kai-a hang on for a second ill get u to safety in a minute he would toss her into the air with a rank strength just enough time to blur through handseals he'd stockpile atomic chakra into his chest before firing the mass into the epicenter of the whirlpool the drills were another problem tho as he caught kai-a again he begin surveying the area for a place to safely put her down - Spoiler:

| Xander would sheathe his weapon before drawing and slicing a second time to finish the target that was fleeing, one aimed at the neck the other aimed at the ankles. He would notice that one of his teammates would suddenly yelp for help, he would turn, a bit too rapidly causing him to trip, before pinpointing where Kai-a was due to her sound as well as the sound of her upward movement, Tikatchi would seem to be moving after her meaning that this was the perfect opportunity. Shunpo. Xander thought to himself as used his fall to initiate Shunpo allowing him to vault upward using the cover of the frost to disguise his movements hearing Tikatchi's warning, he would lift into the air while Tikatchi's attack would hit the water and using the general commotion Xander would prepare his own strike. The smooth drawing, slicing and re-sheathing of Basilisk coupled with Shunpo: Strike of Disgrace would result in a slash aimed at slicing down the middle of Tikatchi's back to incapacitate him, but not kill as the strike want' done for that specific purpose. It was no hard feelings just business with Xander exploiting the opening that Tikatchi himself left for himself by going to rescue, throw and then attempt to re-catch Kai-a who was already incapacitated. His current distance from Tikatchi would be far enough so that Basilisk didn't touch his body with him instead making use of his Displacement Aura to launch the brutal "back-stab". The victim is cut so fast that they do not notice or rather their brain is unable to process the fact that they have been cut and due to the fact there is no visible wound they think all is well. Rather their wound is still there and the "sealing" is only a temporary fix eventually the pressure holding the wound together will dissipate and the wound will burst open

This is something cultivated through practice to eliminate any sign of muscle tension as well as traces of killing intent and is a specific counter to those who utilize dojutsu which slow down objects as their "prediction" becomes useless when faced with spontaneous movement. This coupled with speed equal to their rank makes Xan's kenjutsu attacks unreadable to their eyes negating the advantages that such dojutsu have over him in physical combat. When dealing with opponents with reaction tiers or fellow True All Taijutsu user's with Muscle Tension if he possesses speeds 1-rank above them, then his kenjutsu can not be read, when fighting normal opponents if he possesses speeds 1-rank below their own and above then his Kenjutsu can not be read. Assuming there was an opponent with both Reaction Tiers and a Dojutsu which slowed down movement speed or a Fellow All Taijutsu Cypher with Muscle Tension & Reaction Tiers then Xan would have to possess speeds 2-rank's above their own for his kenjutsu to be unable to be read. If there ever was an opponent however..that was an All Taijutsu Cypher with Reaction Tiers and a movement slowing Dojutsu..then in addition to Xan finally smiling he would have to move at speeds 3 ranks above their own for his kenjutsu to be unreadable.

Similar to the normal strike of disgrace the cut causes a thin line and the victim bleeds only a bit from it.

| And Carmen's crew arrives, well Carmen arrives initially standing on a tree looking down at the battle. Hmmm. She would hum to herself before sitting down on the branch to see who would be the victor in this battle. Or if going with her team's idea, jump in and take all those down there out due to them being weakened, even a little, from their battle. So does anybody know who those people are? Carmen would pay close attention to this battle, after all she might end up fighting one of these people, mainly the victor. | The one making the whirlpool would have his head sliced off while a Reverse Four Symbols technique would suck up everything on him leaving his naked, headless and feetless body to sink into the swamp. Meanwhile the Hidden Frost would begin to gradually fade from the area. Tikatchi's technique would cause the swamp water to evaporate boiling the last shinobi in the swamp while causing vision to drop yet again as the evaporated swamp water would form steam which would spread all over the area cutting vision once again. This would be the situation that Carmen and her teammates would find themselves in vision ruined due to steam rising all across the area after merely seeing a short glimpse of the area. Carmen would ask the question and it would fall upon Edward to answer. It seems that one team defeated the other at the cost of one of their teammates dying and the other team being completely slaughtered. However it would seem one of the teammates is turning on the other... Edward said which would cause him to tense up and rest his hand on the trunk of the tree before jumping off. Kind of like how I saw what you were trying to do to Serenity you traitor. he would shout out mainly to alert Serenity of Carmen's treachery, initially he had just suspected maybe a tracking seal or some other thing to monitor her for the next exam but coming into this area and seeing one shinobi about to turn on and kill their former ally just because of an opportunity made him understand Carmen's true intentions, he was going on a hunch but he trusted Serenity and he knew at the end of the day she would trust him more than some random person. Wait what? Serenity said before jumping back to put distance between her and Carmen just as she saw Edward tap the tree before jumping off also at Vacuum Release speeds. The reasoning was simple she knew how he fought a while back and if he got any better then that meant the tree was going to go..boom. Just as she thought that the tree which he tapped would explode consuming everything within 20 feet of the tree, thankfully she was already moving quickly trying to escape the range and pulling out her Axe-Bass instinctively knowing to begin to strum a tune. | Tika was currently in the sky above the battle below as he was looking for the place to put kai-a he would see that his other teammate had dissappered from his line of sight immediately he began pouring chakra from his pores his radiation activating just as the attack would slice through his back he would flare his wings spinning around to fling yugure flames from his wings at xander before hed drop back to a safe distance generating even more heat this time if succesful the heat would do its job getting to xander as he would find himself chained to a metal table over a blazing inferno. Though at the same time his final form of kyougan activated as he locked eyes on xander in the few seconds that he had and hell sphere would activate leaving tikas left eye bleeding, the yugure flames would sprout on his torso and aim to burn him to ash if he didnt move Tika would fall back even more this time out of the boys range he would remove his mask and lift his clan robe removing his habakusha kohai as the first stage of his seal activated he would struggle to contain the urge to fully let loose his wings would fold over his back again protecting him from sneak attacks As he tried to see the aftermath of the everything transpiring all the while pouring atomic release chakra into the air hearing the explosion he would shift his stance to protect from an attack from multiple directions - Spoiler:

Additionally, the user grows webbed-claw-shaped wings from their back which they can use to fly and glide, and a dark, star-shaped mark appeared across the bridge of their nose. The second stage can only be activated 10 posts into the topic and when activated grants the user's max chakra reserve limit an additional +1 while granting them B-rank Reaction & Strength tiers. This curse seal can be kept active until they past their fatigue limit and after being deactivated the user is extremely vulnerable to damage taking double damage from any damage type.

| That was a good counter, it would of worked if not for one crucial detail, Xander was never in Tikatchi's line of sight are all the mist had spread through the entire area. From the beginning he had disappeared into the mist in order to target the opponents meaning from the moment everyone's vision got cut, Xander had blended into the background out of site out of mind. That being said unless one possessed a sensory technique, or X-ray vision during this entire ambush battle Xander's trace was gone. Meaning, in order to predict his turning on them due to an absence of his line of sight it would mean that Tikatchi would of had to activate his armor prior to Xander even lashing out. That obviously wasn't the case considering during the time Xander moved his focus would be on catching Kai-a, who unlike Xander had made enough noise to allow someone to find her. The second flaw would stem on reacting even if he could see Xander move, he would not see the strike being completed at it was done in a blind spot, and finally if he was trying to base his reaction on feeling the blade slicing his skin, that would likewise be an illogical deduction as the slice dealt no pain and left no mark indicating that Xander had done anything. This was all based on the premise that he could see Xander in the first place, which thanks to the mist was something he could not in fact, do, it would mean no eye contact, no body viewing nothing, as it was done in a quick expanse of time and even by some chance he managed to see Xander move that would be all that he would be able to perceive. Xander moving from resting on the water surface where a whirlpool was about to swallow him up back to regrouping with the rest of the squad, the swinging of the blade would be missed thanks to a combination of Lack of Intent and the original use of Silent Killer while the actual slash dealt was done with Displacement Aura which isn't able to be seen. To further the deception Xander would speak while his stoic facial expression hadn't changed from the moment the team up began. We have company, 3 targets judging by the sounds they are making they are hostile, thankfully all of our target's are eliminated, is she alive? Xander would say loud enough for Tikatchi to hear after landing the strike. The only way, he would be able to tell that he had been cut, is if he possessed pain sensory, as not even a scar, was left the wound being held together with a "seal" of displacement. By the time he actually felt the pain from the slash, it would be already too late and his spinal cord would be cut while Xander still lurked within the now steam covered area. - Spoiler:

Movement speeds up the rate at which said wound opens resulting in opponents suddenly having wounds burst open ceasing their movement for their post of action assuming the exceed the "seal" of the cut dealt. Seals are always equal in strength to the damage dealt to the victim and are unable to be noticed unless through a medical ninjutsu which is used for diagnosis purposes equal to B-rank or above. | Carmen couldn't really see so it was good that Edward was here, unfortunately he continued to speak and apparently was to smart for his own good. Shame really, Carmen could have used his talents for a little longer instead of his ,and by extension Serenty's, life ending. Now the most important part came to mind, traitor? Carmen was never on their team to begin with, these two were just pawns whose value only remained as long as they were useful. So she didn't really take much offense to it rather it was kind of a compliment considering what she was planning for her village, yeah traitor was a proper term. Funny. She would say with a large smirk on her face as the explosion occurred engulfing her. The next thing that would happen is Carmen's hand appearing before Serenity's face inching closer at Blinding Light speeds until it would finally touch her. Like before and apparently what Edward saw, a flame cross will be in the palm of Carmen's hand. Upon contact, Serenity would find herself blown away engulfed in fire. Ironically Serenity was always her first target, Carmen had the feeling that Serenity would be the one who would give her the most difficulty, while she could easily dispatch of Edward. Being a fuinjutsu this technique can be unsealed by B-rank or higher unsealing techniques but for those attempting to unseal it from the outside, they will be dealt B-rank chakra and spiritual damage if the method of unsealing is touch based.

Second in the moment i shot the jutsu into the ground the area would clear thus even more grounds to why noticing you werent there would was why he began generating the chakra and naturally tika generates chakra i.e the air heats up? Tika wouldnt hear anything as the boy probably didnt realize the genjutsu due to the already increasing heat he wouldnt say anything the seal on his shoulder would begin to pulsate its almost time again eh? Well i cant risk this right now idk who he is or what he is really after nor anything about him he thought as the flame pattern that could be seen covering his body began glowing orange before turning back into its normal color it was getting closer to being his second stage but he'd blur through 4 seals before fade the black would activate he would make a fast retreat out of the immediate area at top speed using the cover of mist his body flicker his movement not being able to be heard he'd wait focusing more on the boy he had trapped inside the genjutsu deciding to make the image as mentally agonizing as possible and he figured by now that if things didnt work out for him based off the next few things he'd ultimately fall back not caring to have his goals stopped for himself here besides i gotta keep my promise to suohe thought before getting up and actually flying out of the area he figured he be dq'd it didnt matter really seeing the options he had he would shrug it off and keep going till he found the nearest proctor Deciding not to end the gen but rather let him seemingly burn... | Edward would be suddenly jumped into by a foreign entity forcing the two of them into the mental plain , leaving Edward vulnerable in reality, his body would become immobile and his eyes even though one couldn't see them would glaze over. Inside his mind however it would be Kai-a vs Edward underwater, Edward's mind being that specific location. Within it would reveal Edward without his armor his appearance being a cross between an Electric Eel a Manta Ray and a Hammer Head Shark. Of all the times to do this it had to be now, fuck, I'm fighting someone in the real world and they are probably going to end up killing us both. Edward said gritting his teeth but resigning himself to finishing his opponent quickly so he could avoid Carmen's assault. He would open his mouth before expelling a massive fireball which for some reason continued burning under the water surface. - Spoiler:
Name: Demonic Illusion: Descending Hell Technique
Classification: Genjutsu
Rank: C-rank
Class: Supplementary/Offensive
Range: Mid-range
Description: A modified version of the usually diversionary technique, this technique causes the opponent to see a massive fireball descend upon them and consume them. The power of this technique is equal to the total amount of genjutsu in the chain before it and upon hitting the opponent they will see themselves set ablaze receiving constant mental damage each post. If the combined mental damage they have sustained throughout the battle is equal to 1 S-rank they will instantly be knocked unconscious.
Meanwhile Serenity would be touched by Carmen her body being knocked flying before burning up only to reveal she had replaced herself with a Log. Her opponent used fire, which was fucking unfortunate, no not at all however she had techniques to still at least hold her own. A smooth melody would begin to play through the area and Carmen upon hearing it would barely notice that the steam would linger turning into a mist. The song would continue to play Serenity using her notes as both a lure and a sensory medium, her opponent would be able to find her, but likewise she would be able to track her opponent as well as those in the area which heard her song. Unintentionally she would ensnare Edward in the genjutsu as well causing multiple darkened versions of Serenity to appear in the water surface. For some reason Edward had stopped moving, which wasn't good at all either they could of quite possibly had this in the bag if not for that. If you hear me I forfeit. Edward'snot just stopped moving so he's incapacitated as well meaning you have both to continue just leave us alone. Serenity said loud enough that her opponent and the prone Edward could hear her. - Spoiler:
Body Replacement Technique
Name: Melodic Illusion: Dense Mist

Description: Serenity plays a smooth melody on her axe-bass which plummets the area into a dense fog ruining vision and obscuring a victims senses, due to the mist being illusionary it is able to be used along with other concealment techniques particularly the Hidden Mist: Technique as they both produce the same effect albeit her's being a denser fog. While victims are trapped within they are unable to see and techniques which utilize ocular dojutsu are unable to be used while they are trapped within.

Range: Short (AOE if used in Conjunction with the Hidden Mist technique)
Description: This genjutsu creates eerie black ninja illusions, which appear one by one from trees and rocks, and corner the enemy. Their movements are slow, but when attacked they multiply, and in this way they appear like ghosts inhabiting the mist. Kunai are added to this technique, by throwing them to match illusions movement, making them seem real. As the clones continue to multiply, the victim will eventually be worn down. Serenity has become rather proficient in it's invocation being able to trigger it as a sound, touch or sight based genjutsu, by playing a melody, hitting a victim with her axe-bass while coursing chakra into it or a victim seeing her hands strumming her axe-bass.

Seeing as her technique technically made contact, Carmen will fall to the ground. From her point of view, more mist would arise. That damn thing sure was a pain to deal with. Amidst the silence of the mist and genjutsu, Carmen would hear Serenity forfeiting. That was unexpected to say the least, those things happen though, preserving one's life was better than dying here. With her forfeit however the genjutsu should end, or Serenity would be interfering with the current battle. Not like it would help much though, Carmen would still be within the mist unable to see much. He's down, huh? She would say to herself now having more of a reason to exit the mist, to ensure that Edward would never get up again. Hey. I know you are in here, can you help me out of this mist. I need to finish off one of my teammates. She didn't know his name but Carmen was talking to Xan. Since it seemed both of their teams were out of this little exam they should work together for this brief moment. | |

| Turn to the right about 30 degrees and use a mid-range technique he's about 25 feet away from you and not moving while the girl is in the direction your facing about 30 feet away from you. Xan replied, having located all three of them through silent killer while speaking loud enough that Carmen could hear him, he might as well give someone who wasn't his enemy advice that way he didn't get attacked by the three of them. Then again it seems they were already divided so might as well capitalize on their disorganization now that he was teamless and free to go to the next round. He knew the steam would clear up on it's own after all hot air rises and as such it wouldn't take long for the steam cover to result in clear marshlands, instead he would place his hand on the sheathed Basilisk and merely wait for the proctors to arrive so he could move on to the next round, nothing else to do really. |

| Turn 30 degrees, is what Carmen did stopping once she had reached the proper position. Yes she did have a technique to hit him but at its current level that would not do what she wanted it to. Instead she would burst herself forward into the air, exactly 25ft as the person said, then would place her hand on Edward's body. Shame when you awake your body might not be present...Hellfire Cross. Yeah she was using this on somebody. In the palm of her hand before she would touch Edward, a blazing cross would appear, where upon impact would launch Edward's body 30ft away then explode into a giant fiery cross, sealing his body away in a blazing glory. With that done Carmen will land on the ground then turn her attention to the person who helped her out. Since he was the last one alive out of his team it would seem the rest of them weren't immortal so there was no need in asking them. You there. Are you immortal? Carmen was slowly gaining that reputation of that crazy chick who goes around asking people if they were immortal, might have to gain an Immortal Hunter moniker excluding the part about killing them. - Spoiler:
Name: Slayer Art - Hellfire Cross
Classification: Ninjutsu, Kinjutsu, Fuinjutsu (Signature)

Description: Gathering her life force and blaze chakra into the palm of her hand, it will take the shape of a cross. Pressing the palm of her hand into the target, a seal will be placed, where the life force from the seal will be released sending the opponent flying back 30ft. Once they have reached the 30ft limit the seal placed on them will explode into a fiery vortex dealing B-rank spiritual and chakra based damage upon them. After the vortex has been formed it will further mold into a cross, the size of a Medium (L) creature, sealing the target in forever, constantly dealing B-rank chakra and spiritual damage to them each post, until the flames are dispersed or destroyed. Being a fuinjutsu this technique can be unsealed by B-rank or higher unsealing techniques but for those attempting to unseal it from the outside, they will be dealt B-rank chakra and spiritual damage if the method of unsealing is touch based.

| Serenity would hear the what the other person in the mist said however she would be whisked away by a proctor right before seeing a cross. Eddy!!! No!!! she screamed out as tears streamed down her cheeks, she would never forgive Carmen for this not ever one day she would avenge Eddy's death. She had been confident in her abilities but now she had reason to train even harder how could she expect to become a jonin when a person using fire put her at a huge disadvantage talk about being unable to cover one's own weaknesses. That...wouldn't happen ever again nor would she sit by while someone claimed the life of one of her allies.
Eddy on the other hand would watch as the fireball would make contact with the invader of his mind however he wouldn't exactly stop there instead firing off two more just in case. He would see dark figures reminiscent of Serenity appear in his mind before vanishing causing him to fear the worst as perhaps in his vulnerability she had to fight their betrayer by herself. Hopefully she had learned another form of elemental transformation otherwise it would be a short and brutal loss. He would come to if Kai-a had perished in the attack however if he didn't he wouldn't know that Carmen had hit him and his body sending it flying despite being rigid and immobile before it exploded in a cross of flames. If he did come too then it would be even worse as he would find his armor encased in fire wit him literally baking within as his armor was superficial meant to keep his real appearance hidden and allow him to breathe on the surface. Most Ibwa are, immortal, that is, me on the other hand no, I'm not what one would call immortal, that's be cause as far as I see it, I'm already dead. Though I believe the correct term is undead. Xan said he didn't exactly like the term immortal, everything could be killed or rather his mentality was that everything had to die. At least once, once you have died once then you are free to exist how you want without being bound to trivial things such as life or death, to him those in his clan cheated death constantly never quite succumbing to it. In comparison to their kill to stay immortal, his was more realistic, he killed to stay alive, and would only die just as he killed people, after all he felt that was the true meaning of being a shinobi. |

| Undead? Carmen couldn't say she had come across one of those in her studies outside the Edo Tensei technique, which this person didn't seem to be one. Rather he already acknowledged himself to being an Ibwa but lacking the immortality side of it. Thinking about it, the undead, might prove to be another addition to what she was trying to create and perhaps she was limiting herself to solely immortals. Yeah not only immortals, but everything that calls the shadows their home, the immortals, the undead, the ghouls, the demons, Carmen will bring all of them under her control in one place then release it upon the world like the opening of Pandora's Box, actually that is what she will call it, Pandora. Interesting. How about this Mr. Ibwa. I am currently an immortal but don't let that influence your decision. What I want to do is gather all those up who represent darkness and bring them under my command. Then I'll unleash them upon this world and watch it burn. | |
