training for my 4th and 5 vector arms tech slot, piercing arms and tier 2 strength for vector arms
Sabin had been allowed some time away from his handler to do some training, however it was made abundantly clear that he would be watched to make sure he didn't fly off the handle. Which really shouldn't be an issue for the time being, he hadn't had an episode in a couple weeks time, and Sabin was feeling confident that he could control himself, at least he hoped he was. So he made his way to the training grounds by himself, and was relieved that no one else was there. At least no one would get hurt if he did lose control. You see he suffered from intense hallucinations which caused him to act out viciously and violently to anyone around him, and the fact that he is unable to speak and warn people when he is having an outburst made it worse on him. Once he found a good area to do his training, Sabin removed almost everything on him but his pants and placed it in a pile, no reason to destroy perfectly good clothes right? After all that was done, the boy brought out his vector arms and started to examine them. They needed to be better if he was to be of any use to anyone, and boy would they ever. Faster, stronger, and able to rip people to shreds. why is it thats where my mind goes, I'm not crazy. I'm a good boy!!! He thought clasping his hands over his head, he didn't want to be that kind of person anymore, he had to try and be better. Suddenly his mind went back to that fateful day that changed his life forever, the day he viciously murdered his entire family. The feeling of the blood splashing over his body felt almost as real now as it did then. No, no, please dont make me remember. This nearly brought him to tears, yet somewhere in the back of his mind it kind of excited him. Maybe he is a lost cause, meant for nothing but bringing pain and torment to the world. The sounds of his father's screaming, the image of his younger sister on a bloody heap on the floor, and possibly the most influential memory to him. His mother laying bloody on the floor reaching up to him with a smirk on her face, and her saying how proud she was of her little boy before he tore her head right from her body. God what a completely fucked up family don't you think? Why did she say that? Did she know that Sabin would turn out like this, a monster? Why? Those questions roamed his mind quite often, yet he would never know, such a cruel fate for such a young child. As Sabin looked around himself, he noticed that his vectors seemed to acting rather erratically, whipping around him in every which direction. He needed to focus them, he needed to control them, because he thought if he could control his arms he could control his mind. Oh how wrong he was. So he cleared his mind as best he could and noticed almost instantly his control over them, how they seemed to stop moving and just hovered in place. It seemed he could handle them a bit better, and possibly with time he could use them without even thinking. That was the plan anyways. Now with some control over his vectors, Sabin decided that he had to test the true strength of his vectors, and being a dumbass he sent his vectors to a nearby tree. He knew they wouldn't be able to pick them, but he had to try at least, you can't see your limits if you don't push yourself, right? So he sent all of his arms towards the tree and wrapped them around it, moment of truth. Sabin pulled up with his vector arms as hard as he could, alas he was merely able to shake some leave off of a low hanging branch. He tried again and again, yet he was only still only able to shake the branches. Sabin wanted to curse, however when he opened his mouth nothing emerged, imagine if you weren't able to voice your frustrations when they happened, even more frustrating. With his emotions not really in check, the young ninja started to see something familiar in the distance. He knew exactly what it was, bit not wanting to lose control and be put back in another padded room he stayed put. I don't need to see that right now He thought to himself as he began removing his vectors from the tree, and bring them back to hover just above him. That would be enough of that for the time being, no need straining yourself trying to do what you can not. Plus this wasn't the last time that he would face his now life long foe, this tree right here. So with that out of the way, Sabin stood up from where he was and examined his arms again. There had to be a way for him to improve on these vectors. Then an idea hit him like a ton of bricks, well it was more or less another memory. Before he started having hallucinations he could remember his mother showing him the many uses of the vectors, and one that grabbed his attention was when she showed him how the arms could pierce through most targets. With a grin on his face, he focused his energy back into his vector arms and watched as they seemed to take on a new shape, almost looking like over sized needles. That thought sent shivers down his spine, the tests the doctors did on him when he was incarcerated still left pain from time to time. With his vectors now taking on a new shape, Sabin almost threw the arm back at the tree, only to hear the satisfying thunk of his vector arm piercing the tree trunk. Yet again if he was capable of voicing his rejoice, anyone around would be wondering if he was retarded and if he needed his prescription filled. The young academy student removed his vector arm from the side of the tree and brought it back to his side and made it an arm again instead of a freakishly long needle that would terrify anyone. With that done he looked around and seem that familiar shape again, and this time he felt compelled to examine it, knowing full well what it meant for him. However this time something seemed different about it, you see it use to be just be a member of his family that he brutally murdered. This time it was his mother standing in front of him holding out her arms for her son. Sabin couldn't help himself and started crying while running towards her, and when he got to her he felt like a world of stress was lifted from his shoulders. "You've been such a good boy, I am so proud of you. Don't ever change" She said to him wiping his tears away. She was so real, felt real, and even smelt like her, but he knew she was dead. What was going on? Was this the beginning of the end for Sabin? Guess it would only be a matter of time before it would be decided if he was the spawn of satan or the hand of god. For everyones sake he hoped it was the latter, he really didn't want to hurt anyone anymore. So he looked up only to see his mother on the ground in a bloody heap, this caused him to drop to his knee's and cry. 1281/1250 |
