Hibanara stood in plain view in the main street of the ruined and burned out town. No one knew what had happened here but not much was left afterwards. He was waiting for his opponent, another genin, one from his own village no less and he had been standing in this one spot for around ten minutes, his cryo aura gradually building in strength as he waited, the area sitting just over 0 degrees as he stood. He wasn't holding a weapon nor were there any traps, he didn't believe in traps but he was not above sneak attacks and surprise attacks during a battle but for now it was just a waiting game until this other shinobi showed his face.

Cain was searching through one of the destroyed liquor stores and finally found what he was looking for, a small gourd of liquor thank god it was full. Tying its string to his pants he walked towards his opponent and just stood there with his sword on his shoulder still sheathed. Yo I'm your opponent so how about we make this quick. He said beginning to tap his foot on the ground and his sword on his shoulder.

Hiba looked over his foe as he stood there, a sword on his shoulder and a gourd at his hip. "Not one for pre-fighting talk are we?" Hiba asked the other shinobi with a raised eyebrow as he looked him over again. "Let us start, shall we?" He said slowly and tapped the ground with his left hand which froze over with a strange mirrored ice and he started walking towards his opponent, two kunai slipping into his hands which he promptly threw at Cain.

A large smile came across Cain's face as no time was wasted, he shot himself into Madness Invoke and directly put himself under the power of that dangerous substance. He designated his 3 teir rank up solely to his speed raising it from C-rank to S-rank, and swung his arm across his chest the kunai flicking off his body like it was steel. Now lets go wild. He shot himself at Hiba at great speeds already knowing that this might finish it.

Hiba watched the kunai bounce off of his foe's body with amusement and then he ran at him with sheerly ridiculous speed and Hiba's eyes widened as he dropped into the ice as though it were water, disappearing from sight without even a ripple and he waited before coming up a good distance away from Cain and doing a long chain of hand signs and his ice suddenly changed scent into an almost strawberry like smell that would activate a Genjutsu in Cain as a strange, cheery tune then played over the town, sounding like a minuet that was also a Genjutsu.

Oooh an ice user... Cain said obviously missing his target but then further activating his Cloak of Madness, his black chakra swirling around him like an aura. This power-up was designated so two of towards his strength raising it from C-rank to A-rank, and one towards his speed, raising it from S-rank to SS-rank. Turning himself around Cain proceeded to stomp on the ground to stop himself as well as destroy the ice floor down below this will also serve as a way to disperse the smell that was going to put him within a genjutsu as well the smashing sound bypassing the sound that would've put him within the genjutsu, one maneuver stopped all three jutsus quite simply. Now come on out. He said charging yet again at Hiba this time throwing his sword up in the air so he could perform his....Mad Assault of the Shogun. In which he would deal 30 blows unto Hiba when he would be forced to leave the ground due to the ice floor being destroyed.

Hiba growled slightly as all of his jutsus were destroyed with but a stomp, he needed to think quickly and he needed to think now. He couldn't beat this guy on the ground but maybe he didn't need to, he focused his chakra quickly and a massive pair of wings flared out from behind him, made totally of ice but he didn't hesitate and launched into the air with a single, massive flap, just going out of range of the Mad Assault of the Shogun and going a good distance up before spinning around, hovering there as two kunai with explosive tags connected to them dropped into his hands and he threw them both at Cain, the tags already ignited.

A bigger smile than before came across Cain's face, apparently his opponent had forgotten a very important point. Cain's attack missed horribly but watching his opponent jump away he naturally gave chase, stomping on the ground and launching himself into the air. Earlier in the fight before Cain performed Mad Assault of the Shogun, he threw his sword into the air. Grabbing his sword he hit the kunai away and appeared in front of Hiba. Style of the Undrawn Long Sword-Branching Trees. He said as within the blink of an eye he slashed 30 times at Hiba each one capable of dealing A-rank damage but moving at SS-rank speeds. To make this performance of Cain's that much better because he currently had SS-rank speed, Hiba's chance of reacting is basically non-existent.
