| (This would replace the Chakra Chains tech they get in the Template, specifically because the Awakening Information states: Ambient Chakra Manipulation: Xeres are more in-tune with their chakra than any of the other Awakenings and are able to manipulate their chakra into shapes with the most common being the manifestation of Chakra Chains. So a more generic starter tech like this would allow different shapes and lines of techniques for different people while still mainly focusing on the trademark chains.) Name: Ambient Chakra Manipulation Classification: Ninjutsu (Xeres Only) Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Varies Description: Due to a Xeres' advanced Ambient Chakra Manipulation, they are able to easily manifest their chakra into different shapes with the most common being that of chains. This technique molds the user's chakra into a desired shape which, after materializing, can be used for multiple purposes such as attacking, defending, physically restraining targets, and various other uses the user can think of. The constructs this technique allows the Xeres to create are extremely durable, resisting mental, physical, and chakra damage two ranks above the user’s own while resisting spiritual and natural damage one rank above the user’s own. Description: Req. for Xeres Barrier Ninjutsu. While a Xeres' ability to masterfully manipulate and shape ambient chakra opens a vast avenue of choices and paths, the most common use of this ability is to create chakra chains. This route of the Ambient Chakra Manipulation ability allows the user to manifest multiple chakra chains, which protrude or hang from the user’s body, though weigh nothing. The chains glow gold, representing the pureness of a Xeres chakra, and are completely manipulated by the user’s thoughts as an extension of themself. This means the chains move at speeds equal to the user’s own rank if they lack speed tiers, or at tier+ equal to their own speed tiers if they possess them. The chains also can restrict targets with strength equal to the user’s own rank if they lack strength tiers, or a tier+ equal to their own strength tiers if they possess them.

The more chains the Xeres uses, the more damage they can do.

The sword is able to be used for any kenjutsu techniques the Xeres possesses and deals pure natural damage based on the rank of kenjutsu technique used.

The user will concentrate, forming the cestes, which is gold with a soft yellow glow around their hands. The cestes are able to be used for any taijutsu techniques the Xeres possesses and deals pure natural damage based on the rank of taijutsu technique used.

Description: This is the first technique in the Xeres’ line of Barrier Ninjutsu and involves the user extending their Chakra Chains around a specified area to create the border of the Barrier Ninjutsu. Often, the user will send the chains from their body underground so the border of the barrier is not easily viewable to any targets. These barriers can be created for any number of uses, but most often are used to designate restrictions in a specific area. The higher rank a Barrier Ninjutsu technique is, the more chains required to utilize. When more than the minium required number of chains are used, the durability of the barrier increases.

Description: This is the first barrier ninjutsu that actually restricts targets from entering or leaving once it is set up. The Xeres still utilzies their chains to set up the boundaries of the technique, however once the boundaries are established, more golden chains erupt from them and create a cage around the affected area. Though unseen, the chains extend underground as well, preventing subterranean escape. This cage glows with a bright golden hue, preventing those on the outside from seeing in and those on the inside from seeing out unless they possess some form of sight other than regular and chakra vision. The only creatures or items that can exit this cage or enter it once it has been established are those that are already intangible or those who possess a technique that turns them intangible that is at least SS-rank or higher. In order to escape/enter said barrier one must either kill the user of this technique or destroy the things constituting the barrier namely the chakra chains.

Description: The pinnacle of Xeres’ chakra chain barrier techniques, the chains of this barrier remain gold but rather than glow with a soft yellow hue, they take on a black miasma like hue instead. Similar to Chakra Chain Barrier: Physical Restrict, the chains are used to set up the perimeter of the barrier before creating hundreds of other chains that form a cage around the specified area. This barrier prevents living creatures from passing through the barrier, with any living creature that touches the chains being immediately reverted to non-sentient, inorganic matter. When coming in contact, only the parts that touched the barrier are reverted into inorganic material and upon being reverted into inorganic material it requires a Partial Resurrection technique in the case of limbs or a Complete Resurrection technique to bring the target back to life completely. Inorganic or dead creatures however can pass through the barrier freely, with any creatures that are considered “undead” but still conscious and functioning allowed to pass through the barrier freely but retain an SSS-rank amount of chakra damage upon doing so. In order to escape/enter said barrier one must either kill the user of this technique or destroy the things constituting the barrier namely the chakra chains.

Description: This is seen as a forbidden technique by the Xeres due to it transitioning from an interaction with the physical and natural worlds to interacting with the underworld and shinigami. When utilizing this technique, the Xeres’ chains turn black but retain the yellow glow of their regular chains. Similar to Chakra Chain Barrier: Physical Restrict, the chains are used to set up the perimeter of the barrier before creating hundreds of other chains that form a cage around the specified area. This barrier prevents any creature with a soul (whether natural or artificial) from passing through the barrier, with any creature that touches the chains immediately dying as their soul is ripped from their body and transported to the 5th dimension. When coming in contact, only the parts that touched the barrier are purged of their soul, causing the afflicted area to wither and turn grey, dropping uselessly with the creature unable to move it or utilize it in any way. To heal such damage requires an SSS-rank medical technique that specifically deals with soul repair and reclamation.

If the Xeres possesses an element, they are able to infuse that element into their Sage Art: Spirit Bomb, but the real use of this technique is the ability to charge it, resulting in a larger and stronger Sage Bomb explosion depending on how long the user charges it.

Description: Potentially the most basic Medical Senjutsu technique in a Xeres’ arsenal, this technique involves the Xeres laying their hands on the afflicted area and channeling healing natural energy towards the area. The longer they maintain contact with a wound, the more they can heal and the true use of this technique is that if the Xeres isn’t moving while performing this technique, they can gather natural energy from the world around them without having to pull from their own reserves. However, if retreating or simply moving with the target while performing this technique, it 1 C-rank of natural energy from their reserves per post until the healing is done.

Description: The Xeres forms a few basic handseals before clapping their hands together. This causes a pulse of natural energy to ripple out around them and wash over anyone within range, friend and foe alike. Once struck by this pulse, a sense of rejuvenation washes over the individual, making them feel refreshed and awake as if just rising from a restful sleep. This technique is able to replenish 1/4th of each target’s stamina reserves per use, with the danger being that the Xeres cannot control who is impacted by this technique. This means while helping allies, it’s entirely likely it could also benefit enemies as well.

Description: This technique involves the Xeres placing two open palm hands on the target’s chest, usually in the upper pectoral region before gently pushing and circulating natural energy through the target’s body. As this is done, the body begins to naturally rid itself of any toxins or poisons afflicting the target. This leaves the target in the form of a colored wisp that seems to waft off of them, completely harmless to anyone near them. This technique is capable of completely ridding a target of B-rank or lower toxins/poisons, while reducing the effectiveness of a higher level toxin/poison by reducing the post count of affliction by 10 P.T. per use.

Description: Due to the Xeres ability to be in touch with the natural world and natural order of things, those Xeres who study the healing arts are capable of things no other medic is. This technique starts by the Xeres placing a thumb on the forehead of the target and an open palm on their chest, over their heart. The user then cranes the target’s head back slowly by pushing gently on their forehead. As they do, the target begins to feel a sense of peace and any emotion limits that were reduced in this topic are restored by half with each use of this technique.

Description: Due to their reliance on natural energy, many Xeres techniques involve inducing petrification in targets not accustomed to natural energy. As such, Xeres need a way to reduce and get rid of the petrification process. This technique is simple in that by placing their hand on the afflicted area, the Xeres will begin to draw the unwatned natural energy out of a person and dispersing it back into the natural world. As it does, the petrification of the target will recede and their normal skin and body will be returned. This technique reduces an A-rank amount of petrification per post that the Xeres is in contact with the target, but unfortunately it is not strong enough to reverse full petrification.

Description: This technique is used for those shinobi who may have lost a limb or organ during battle. The Xeres first seizes the transplant target (whether it be limb, eye, organ, etc.) in one hand, before placing their other hand over the intended target area for the transplant. Natural energy cycles through both as the Xeres begins to bridge the genetic gap between target and transplant, willing the cells and immune system of the shinobi to accept this new transplant as if it had been naturally grown by the body itself. Due to the utilization of natural energy instead of chakra, this technique has a considerably reduced chance of rejection when compared to Medical Ninjutsu techniques attempting something similar.

Description: This is a strange technique that most Xeres scoff at due to the fact that it begins to enter the unnatural territory. The Xeres performs a series of handseals before clapping their hands together and focusing on a target. The target of this technique must be made of organic material, meaning corpses, plants, and the like but not metal, rocks, or things of that nature. Utilizing a large amount of natural energy, the Xeres is able to animate their target with complete control. In the case of corpses, the corpse still retains all tiers and jutsu that they had while alive and can be instructed to use by the Xeres whenever necessary. This technique automatically ends at the end of each topic, but the Xeres can carry the corpse with them and restart the technique if they so choose.

Description: Though champions of nature and the natural order, Xeres have a tenuous relationship with Sage Mode users. This technique perfectly highlights the extremes of that relationship. Due to their strong connection with the natural world, Xeres are able to rapidly facilitate the gathering of natural energy, something that Sage Mode users struggle with immensely. As a result, they have developed this technique to help their Sage Mode bretheren. By placing their hands on a Sage Mode user, or anyone with Natural Energy Reserves, the Xeres is able to draw natural energy from the world around them and rapidly replenish the target’s Natural Energy Reserves at a rate equivalent to the target’s rank per post. As they draw the energy from the world, life around them begins to wilt and wither away, making for a sometimes ominous scene while the technique occurs. The double-edged sword of this technique is that the Xeres can also use this technique in an offensive manner, striking a target and forcefully filling them with natural energy to rapidly induce petrification. Depending on the target’s relationship with natural energy and how much natural energy the Xeres injects into them, the petrification process will progress at different rates with it only being able to be healed by an equal rank Medical Senjutsu technique that heals petrification.

Description: Among Xeres, this technique is often considered disgraceful and intended as only a last resort in the most dire of circumstances because it upsets the natural order of the world, that being death is simply a part of the cycle. This technique can only be used on those who have died an unnatural death. This means the technique would have no effect on someone who died of old age, natural illness, claimed by the Shinigami, or any technique that involves willing life sacrifice (those who were sacrificed against their will can be revived). The user first heals the wounds of the victim through other medical techniques before they pump an amount of natural energy into the victim’s body that is 2-ranks higher than the victim’s rank (capping at 1 SSS-rank). To facilitate life functions, the user must also sacrifice an amount of blood 1-rank lower than the victim’s rank. While bringing the target back, the area around the Xeres will begin to wither and die and the user will be unable to gather natural energy for five posts (P.T.) after the use of this technique. However, this technique has the benefit of being usable multiple times so long as the Xeres does not run out of blood or natural energy. The Xeres is still able to use the technique one time if they lack the required amount of blood or natural energy, but they will either die immediately after the completion of the technique, or become fully petrified depending on which reserve they lacked. An odd side effect of this technique is that anyone brought back who did not previously possess natural energy reserves now possesses natural energy reserves equal to 1 SS-rank, though this technique does not give them the ability to gather natural energy naturally.

Description: Nature’s Wrath is an extremely dangerous fighting style and possibly the first of its kind as a Sentaijutsu. Due to the Xeres’ intimate relationship with nature and Natural Energy, they have developed a fighting style that allows them to channel Natural Energy into their strikes. The style itself usually deals with mostly open palm and flat footed strikes to the opponent’s body. While this fighting style deals natural based damage, the true use of it is its ability to petrify those who lack nature tiers. Those who posses the necessary nature tiers to resist are instead dealt natural physical damage. Description: While Jinchuriki Suppression is intended to suppress a Bijuu’s traits and Bijuu Restraint is meant to seal a wild Bijuu, Jinchuriki Purification combines the abilities of both lines of techniques to separate the Bijuu from a Jinchuriki who has entered Full-Tailed Beast Mode whether on purpose or by accident and seal the Bijuu away elsewhere. This technique requires the Xeres to strike the target with their chakra construct, causing now golden chakra chains to burst from the contact location and surround the Jinchuriki in a bright golden sphere of natural energy with numerous chakra chains binding them within. They are then lifted off the ground as the Xeres places both palms together and holds them in place in order to purify them. Similar to the Bijuu Restraint technique, this technique restrains and suppresses the Jinchuriki, immobilizing it completely but also immobilizing the user of the technique as they must put forth all of their concentration to keep the Jinchuriki contained. If the user moves or is moved while restraining the Jinchuriki, the Jinchuriki is able to break free of the sphere. This version of the technique can only be used effectively on the Nanabi, Hacibi, and Kyuubi as any other Bijuu is too powerful to be restrained by this technique. The real use of this technique is being able to safely separate a Bijuu from its host Jinchuriki, making it one of the only techniques able to separate the two without killing the Jinchuriki. If successfully separated, the Jinchuriki loses all abilities gained from the Bijuu but still maintains the Bijuu’s chakra nature and any techniques utilizing it. Once separated, the Xeres can either seal the Bijuu with their own fuinjutsu technique preemptively applied to the chakra construct used to strike the Bijuu initially or rely on a second person to apply the sealing technique. If using their own technique, the markings of the seal appear across the golden chakra chains restraining the Bijuu and take a certain amount of time to fully seal the Bijuu in the intended target. Using a second person causes the Bijuu to be sealed instantly depending on the proficiency of the user in question.
