Name: Shock-Wave Fist Classification: Fighting Style Rank: D Class: Offensive Range: Contact, Varies (Based on Wind Materia Harnessed)
Description:A speed-based fighting style, Shockwave Fist is a unique form of taijutsu using a concept known as the 'zero-hundred-zero' principle. Starting motionless, the user would increase their speed immensely with extreme acceleration, and then stop their movement immediately. The force generated is carried away from the user's body, allowing perpetually unlimited range of Taijutsu. However, the style comes with a major drawback; the amount of constant movement and braking, when used in a constant amount can cause the user's muscles to tear, predominantly in the areas they use to attack, although it does put strain over the entire body thus each technique of this style has a recoil price associated with it. Because of its nature, it can be confused with Ninjutsu, and regarded as such repeatedly. However, with the lacking use of chakra, it is far from such; making it ideal against those that might be capable of absorbing techniques, and unknowing to what a technique actually is. Considering how it acts, it is also associated with the Fūton nature; this is due to harnessing Wind Materia which stems from the wind sheer generated by accelerating and suddenly stopping while in air & thus all of it's techniques can be applied underwater harnessing Water Materia albeit at half the distance not to mention at slower speeds unless the user is capable of refined underwater movement. Whether it be a boost, disruption, or attack due to what it harnesses it is able to be easily detected by Displacement Sensory (Wind or Water). It should also be noted that to utilize this style properly, brutal training is required (1000 Word Weekly Training), focusing on the legs and tendons of the body a great deal. Flexibility, reactions, and speed; all acting as vital parts for the Shockwave Fist. Intro(6am) - A early start to the day was always the corner stone to any budding individual and Alan was no different, He was up bright and early doing his daily hygiene routine while humming a tune that was not particularly important. As he moved through his room he would look around for a moment for no real reason as he continued to brush his teeth in prep for the day, as of late he had begin filling in his day with a myriad of small training sessions in order to properly prepare himself for the missions he would be taking as a genin. He was pretty good at coming up with the things he planned on doing and in theory it would certainly work if Alan could push his physical prowess a bit. The young ninja would spit and turn on the water release as he rinsed his mouth and splashed some water on too his face before giving a exaggerated sigh and moving to put his clothes on. On his desk were his plans and the one of top was his task for the morning having came up with the shockwave fist style the next thing was to put the style into action meaning Alan although he didn't really like working out would have to spend every morning doing some type of flexibility training. He would grab the scroll holding the style stuff it in his bag and give himself one final look. His attire for the day consisted of simple beige shorts and blue top with numerous symbols upon it showing off the various clans which called Hakagakure home, it was a simple shirt anyone could get from a gift shop within the village. Alan would push his door open and begin moving out into the open area of the cavern which was Hakagakure never getting completely used to it he would scoff a bit at the dry taste the air would offer as he inhaled. (7AM) His day had began and he would leap from the top of the stairs leading up too the second floor of his apartment building and land with a small plume of dust dancing about as he began to pick up the pace and move steady toward the training grounds, he mapped his route and instead of taking the most direct route he instead went on a detour in order to get the most out his morning run and fully circle his side of the village before coming to a stop panting at the training grounds. In terms of endurance Alan was nothing special but he surely knew what it would take in order to change that steady and efficient training and he would be able to make runs like this in no time at all. After taking a few seconds to catch his breathe alan would begin stretching in a attempt to limber up he really didn't intend on doing any practical stuff today just more research and theorizing. He would stretch his left leg falling down to one knee with his hand placed on it too maintain balance he would go down as far as he could before alternating legs and doing this for a few motions until he felt it was right. Next he would sling his arm across his chest and place the other behind his shoulder as he pulled the muscle loose letting out a small sigh of comfort from the release in tension there, like prior he would alternate arms and do this motion a few times. Next he would begin going through a myriad of awkward stretches in a aim to get his body more loose and nimble, of course Alan was already pretty in shape in terms of a child but he needed too push himself farther and at the moment he was not where ne needed to be. He would attempt a standing splits and slowly begin lowering himself without the help of his hands only to be hit with a stinging pain under his leg and topple over holding his leg, he was not quite there yet but he would need to continue trying if he hoped to do it one day. Next on his list was working with his golfing and baseball he had figured that the simple pass times he used to have fun as a academy student could actually help him in coming up with a style of combat, although he had not been able to try it as of yet he hoped that through physics he could harness different elemental materials for combat. His current training was all in hopes that he could eventually learn how to displace wind materia and in turn fully accomplish the shockwave fist style but in order to do so he would need a test and looking up at the academy building he knew it was better now then never in order to try the most simple technique he had thought of he would start running using his strength to speed up slightly before climbing up the building and once at the top standing and taking a few breathes. (8AM) Essentially this was a leap of faith, and with no more details to work out all Alan could do was make the jump he would move to the edge and look down it was not a very big fall but never the less it was a fall and if this failed he could easily injure himself and likewise make a fool of himself to anyone else currently training, the later matter little seeing as how Alan didn't have a single friend but he was sure he didn't wanna get hurt. He would take a breathe and jump. The air passing by him almost making it hard to think but he would focus and feel for the wind as he moved down before shifting his body downward with his str and displacing the wind to create a poof and too Alan's amazement he was sent back into the air 2 feet before clumsily landing on all fours on to the ground. He would chuckle a bit too himself before dusting the dirt off of him and looking up, it worked | |

(5AM) Alan was already up in his room tending to a few things he was tightly wrapping bandages over his legs and not yet fully covered the numerous bruises and swelling could be seen. It was a lot of bruising from the inside and Alan's legs were incredibly swollen however he could not stop his daily routine if he hoped to make it as a shinobi in the republic of five he was hoping that all this training would pay off but as he wrapped the final piece he would simply get a sigh in a defeated manner before pushing himself to his feet with a painful grunt. Today was sure going be fun and it was just getting started. After the normal routine Alan would be placing his beige shirt on which he had paired with green joggers and beige shoes today, his leather holder for his putter and bat would have the fitting tied across the center of his chest and the rest on the back with his weapons already attached. He would push the door open and immediately jump down from the second floor and before hitting the ground he would bounce slightly back into the air do a roll on to the ground and stand into a run, he was on the move and the best way to forget about the pain was to start moving and keep moving, it was something Alan was growing accustom to. As he ran through the lower sector making sure to never take the same route as the day before his legs would begin to bleed and Alan would stop singing out in pain. "fuuuuck" He would grab his leg but instead of stopping he would start running again simply letting a tear go down his cheek from the pain before trying to regain his pace. 8(AM) He was not getting any slower but he was not getting any faster and if not for most of the things he had been trying as of late working he more than likely would have formed a new taijustu style all together, but never the less he was back at the training grounds pulling out the scroll he was writing he planned on working on his flexibility as usual and trying out a new technique called point that he had been working on. In theory it was a simple as stopping a fast moving object and controlling the momentum to lead the wind sheer in a singe pinpoint spot in order to inflict some hard but from what Alan could calculate it would need to be a high speed for some real damage to occur something he currently lacked. Alan would begin by limbering up for a few moments then start his normal stretches by now this was the only thing getting easy so he had decided to spice it up a little he would bend down and go into a splits before doing the motion 100 times in a row this allowed it to become as simple as walking eventually for the boy and it was already becoming something he was good at the young lad was flexible. 10(AM) Alan would be dripping in sweat standing on the top of a building another new part of his training was his practice in aerial movement using his fall technique in order to learn the best way to avoid attacks while stuck in the air for any reason. He was confident in using that ability and for the most part he was ready to try point, he would get a running start and reach a solid speed before lashing his hand forward before flinging his index finger outward causing a small force to move and hit a nearby wall, this was point. And Alan was almost 90 percent sure that it was going to work. He would repeat it for a few times until his finger was beet red and swollen he would stick it in his mouth to try and sooth the pain then begin walking back to the training grounds where he had left his belongings. 11(AM) Alan would be doing a light jog back to the training ground but he caught by a smell from one of the food stands his stomach would give a growl and he would quickly head that way before arriving at a stand for beef and ramen. He would simply ask for two pieces of rare beef on a stick and wait for the food to arrive after placing the money on the counter, Instead of sitting Alan would lean his back up against the counter and turn to face out of the stall taking the time to scan everything over and simply relax, he was looking for any real reason but sometimes he just preferred watching people go about there daily lives; he wondered sometimes who watched him and as some of the kids of his village ran around and down the street he could not help but wonder when he would meet his group of friends or at least rivals. Interaction was something he need and if he could not find it here then he would go and check out one of the other villages but that was for another day and with a clack on the counter Alan's food would arrive he would grab it from the plate and slowly take a bite exhaling the steam from the heat of the fresh food as he began running again while eating his snack. It took him about 15 minutes to eat the snacks and ten minutes to make it back to the training grounds. Alan would be kicking all his stuff near each other as he finished the last piece of meat and tossed the small stick into the waste basket. He was done for the day and he would give one final look around just incase he had left anything before starting to jog back toward his home, he would look up and at the dirt encompassing Hakagure and think to himself. | |
