Greed's Debut

Greed had dealt with regular mortals for so long in that old gang of his that he wasn't too keen on the idea of fighting some ninjas and shit. He was dressed in his black casual suit like normal. Not a speck of dust could be caught in view of it. His hair was neat and tidy as if he just got back from a salon. He almost seemed like someone's Butler from how well kept his clothing and posture was. He was currently standing in front of a bounty board looking over his options so he could start earning big money fast. "Lets see here... What to pick.."

The board was big if that meant anything. Though it had little of anything on it and as the boy stood there looking over the D-Rank section a girl with blonde hair would grab a paper and walk off. There had been three bountys listed and now there were two a red headed boy with little info beside his release being fire and another with no picture simply a location with the person being noted as one "in tune with nature and hard to find."

Greed watched as the girl walked away with one of the bounties. How curious. He wondered what she was after. He smiled before grabbing both bounties and following after her. He wanted to know what she was up to. Was she a fellow bounty hunter? If so maybe Greed could expand his business a bit. The other option was a bit fun too. A smile appeared on his face as if he had just hit the jackpot. He had only been in this port for a short time and things were already getting fun.

The woman he choose to follow would be seen crumbling up the paper after looking over it a bit, she did not like her face being plastered over the bounty boards and with her trying to relax today any unwanted attention would only further piss her off.

She would look behind her and notice she was being followed. She was a missing ninja and had became accustomed to being hunted and she learned the best way to avoid pesky fame huntets was to use a little bit of stealth and shit. She would keep walking for now eating the crumbled paper and looking back only once more before taking off at C-Rank speeds the moment she got around a building.

Well, looks like he had been spotted. Greed locked eyes with a woman for a second before her actions changed a bit. He was now sure that the bounty had been hers as she ate the bounty. One would only do so in order to hide evidence. If it was a bounty she was just going after then there would be no point in eating it unless she was just doing something to spite him or really liked the taste of paper. Either way, Greed watched her turn the corner of a building and decided to play with her himself. As soon as they were out of each others views he jumped up to the top of the same building she turned at. When he reached the top he expected her to either be hiding for ambush, though unlikely since there were people around. Or she would be continuing on her path to try and lead him or to run. He wondered which she would do. The answer to this question of his would determine her actions up till now. And sure enough, when he reached the top he could spot the quick movements of someone with her same silhoutte rushing through the streets at bullet release speeds. This confirmed it, she was the bounty itself. Intriguing. He would pop his neck before rushing across the rooftops at Crashing Ground speeds in order to catch up to her. If he was able to get within twenty feet of her he would release a single kikaichu from his body before rushing ahead to try and cut her off.

The two were running at a matching speed so they would not get any closer to each other but that meant that the boy had a solid eye on the woman as the two left the boundaries of the town and into the rocky wastland which is the land of madness.

The bug depending on how fast it was would have a chance at catching the girl but currently it was moving at a pace one would consider normal that one bug quickly falling behind the moving greed and bounty woman.
