Appearance: A clear book that is bound in skin of the same consistency as it's 1st owner with the clan symbol adorning the front cover. Inside the pages are white and opening it reveals that majority of the pages are filled with incomprehensible writing which is undetectable by those who lack Nen sensory.
Special Ability: Every Tome prior to being bound to a Ningyo is found in the hands of the Mamodo that shares it's attribute however it lacks a cover and only gains one when the Ningyo binds themselves to it with a drop of blood. Doing so manifests the cover of the Tome and alters it from it's initially physical form into a mental construct. Though it is visible to the naked eye, the writing inside of it is not as only those with Nen Sensory can pick up on the fact that the pages aren't blank, whereas only the Ningyo who owns the tome is capable of reading the incantations within as long as they have sacrificed slots for them. This tome has a set durability similar to a living being, as when damaged sufficiently enough it will ignite and burn into ashes causing the Mamodo linked to it to fade away. It's special ability is that in battle rather than sustain damage a Ningyo can transfer their damage to their Tome instead allowing them to sacrifice their Mamodo's life for theirs. All Tomes are required in order to utilize Incantations and depending on the Ningyo who owns the Tome they are able to become more powerful.
