Cursed associates

It had been quite a while since the groups return from their mission, everything seemed to go by so quickly it nearly flew over Kenichi's head, one of the people he planned to deem his rival had committed murder on a family member; it wasn't all that odd for a heir to take out anyone they deem competition to the clan head possition, but from the time Kenichi spent with Enzo he didn't seem like that type. It took Kenichi a week after hearing the news too actually go listen to the other side of the story, it's just murder didn't fit well with Enzo, it could've been self-defense or maybe it was murder... it was still something Kenichi had to hear from the lips of Enzo himself.

Kenichi groaned lightly as he mentally prepared for his day, it started in his bed then slowly moved towards the shower; each step burrowed a path from the two location, between the candy wrappers and the pet food bag, there was always something on the ground around his bed. Kenichi made his shower fast, as he went in and out, within record timing. He rushed to the jail which held Enzo captive for his crimes, Kenichi simply waited inside a room, which was heavily guarded so there was no hope of Enzo escaping. In his grip was a mace that many of the older shinobis knew by name.

“On your feet, inmate!!”

A sharp tap on Enzo’s head gave him a rude awakening, causing the disgraced shinobi to look around with fluttering eyes.

“What?”

“You have another visitor today!”

This was happening a bit often, but Enzo still didn’t know if it was a good thing or not. Of course, giving himself some attention so that people wouldn’t forget that Enzo was locked in here was a good thing. Though, he didn’t know if they were getting in the view of people that actually wanted to help him, instead of instantly judging him as a person with evil intent. If anything, this jail, being imprisoned, it had the potential of creating exactly what they wanted him to be, a monster.

“Kenichi?”

Enzo would say as the door was closed, the guards only being a foot away. They didn’t have any privacy, but the secureness made it a lot easier for them to talk. Enzo was currently in chains, so there wasn’t much he could do.

“What are you doing here? How did you know I was here? ”

Kenichi only stared at Enzo he looked no different from the day they finished their escort mission, dispite the fact, Kenichi didn't do much during that mission he could still look back on it and other things they did together. Kenichi let out a softy laugh, it wasn't much of a laugh more of chuckle, but soon came back to giving Enzo a depressing sad look. "Enzo... who hasn't heard about the heir who killed his nephew with his own hand?" The question was much more rhetorically, but soon Kenichi seemed to switch gears into a subject that didn't contain such animosity towards it "you remember when team himi was me, you, and nik and the first day the three of us meet. I thought we'd make a strong team, and that we could prove to them that their was no such thing as a weakness, just the lack of strength to overcome it." It seemed Kenichi had some endlessly, but there was something more important that he need to say "what happened to you, why are you here, tell me Enzo?" Kenichi questioned, he wanted to be able to trust someone he knew

Oh, did word really get out like that?” Enzo would say as he frowned. “I guess i gave Himiko sensei a bit of trouble, maybe too much trouble than it’s worth. Though, I won’t blame her if she doesn’t come by here, this place is really full of broken dreams. “ Enzo listened to what Haio said, and nodded his head. “That much is true, but there are some things that are honestly beyond your control at times. When that happens, and when you feel powerless, what can you do? “

Knowing that he had to go over his story again, Enzo took in a deep breath. “I found a spear, that came alive. It takes over my body whenever someone or something is near, making me unable to fight of the pull. I found it in a cave in, I cleared the rocks. It just seemed like a cool weapon, and I wanted it to show it off to my family, but it forced me to attack it. I made my way immediately back to the clearing in order to see if I can find out how to stop the spear, but was captured by anbu after it forced me to attack other fellow ninja. Though, I helped them avoid the spear’s blows, thankfully. I tried to warn them, but it didn’t matter I guess.

Kenichi started off only taking a few glances at enzo, as it was hard to start someone you once trusted in the eyes without feeling hurt "stop being such a baby, you're making it hard to hear" Phlebotomy spoke into the mind of kenichi, this caused kenichi to focus more when he heard enzo's opinion of the place, it caused kenichi to giggle a bit, due to the gap of events that happened after the mission enzo wasn't quite sure of what hearkened after enzo and rai left himiko and kenichi. Kenichi had To find something to say to inspire enzo in these moments "fight, keep fighting after you hit the ground, swing harder while you're down." Kenichi started hoping his foolishness made sense to someone besides him. It seemed like hour, maybe days when enzo finally decide to discuss the main subject at hand here, kenichi sat quietly and listened to every word enzo spoke, til enzo story gave him a bit of a reminder of how he meet his mace. "Wait you said you could control yourself once you touched it. Did it feel like the spear was talking to you any at all, maybe even through mallice?" Kenichi asked suddenly

"Now that I think about it, I did receive something akin to a vision of some sort. I thought it was like the history of the spear, or the visions of the person that used it before me, I had no idea what it meant. Though, alot of people died and were stabbed to death. It also told me it's name, Areadbhar. I didn't think for a second that what it was showing me was the actual intent of the spear itself. " Enzo would then shake his head. "That's about the most of what i can remember about it. "Enzo would then frown. "Thanks for having faith in me, but don't ruin your life by being associated with a murderer. Even if it's to save face, i understand, you have a bright future ahead of you.

"Areadbhar, I hate that spear so much, if it wasn't for that spear I'd still have my other body" Phlebotomy spoke inside kenichi's had once again, but this time it seemed more alarming then when kenichi found out about enzo's incident "the fuck do you mean other body, explain yourself!" Kenichi got rather rowdy with his mace, it was quite easy to believe Kenichi was the crazy one out of the two boys "idiot lower your voice, you know how when you first saw me, the body which laid beside me was beaten up, and pierced. Well that spear killed the guy who controlled me before you." Phlebotomy had only spoken a post of the true, in actually that body was possessed by Phlebotomy before it was beaten. "Enzo, you came acrossed a cursed weapon, if worse comes to worse, ask them to have someone bring out the spear; if all goes right the judge might understand your situation. When's your court date?" He questioned as he stood up with a different wmoyion then whet he came in with.

"Tomorrow...." Enzo would say this with a weak smile. "I don't have a lawyer, and I think that being in jail for as long as I was kind of did a number on my physique and my mind. I don't know, i feel like this is all a big set up for a grand fall. I'mm going to lose everything in the next 24 hours, and no one will remember me. " Enzo didn't really understand Kenichi's outbursts, maybe the guy had an imaginary friend that he couldn't see. Though he had a mace with him, that same weird mace. Maybe that cursed weapon was telling him things?

Kenichi placed his hands onto the table "don't worry enzo!" At this point Kenichi had a small idea of what happened, but in order to prove his innocence, he'll need some strong piece of evidence. It wouldn't be easy unless Kenichi knew exact where enzo had went searching for that cursed weapon "can you tell me exactly how the spear looked and how ito made you feel upon contact with it?" Kenichi was trying everything he could to figure if he was missing something "can you tell me the location of where the spear was found?" Kenichi questioned, his main focus now was gathering as much info as he could to have a strong base of evidence by tomorrow morning. Upon Enzo telling Kenichi the answer to his questions, he would speak "be strong!" He run out the room and the building his goal was to find something.
