Stop and Smell the Flowers [Mu/Yuki]

Yuki picked up her cup of tea with her free hand and downed it quickly. She hadn't touched the mug for a bit so it's not like it was freezing over. She left a few Xel to tip the waitress as well and paused to notice Amelia still idling on her hand. "As not-scary and adorable as Amelia is, I'm not sure I can hold her on my finger forever.", Yuki said, giving a slightly awkward smile. The girl got up, pushing the chair in with her free hand, not entirely sure where Amelia would go as the little bee was still perched on her.

Mu looked at the little bee with a small smile and beckoned with a finger. It took flight and circled around Yuki before buzzing over to him, flying into his sleeve and out of sight. Mu motioned towards the door before leaving out. He looked up and down the street a bit before deciding a direction and heading down it, humming happily to himself.

The buzzing made her stiffen a little, it was definitely a noise she still wasn't accustomed to. But Yuki knew she wasn't in harm's way at all. She followed Mu out and walked along side him down the street. The shops they walked past seemed to have like-themes by the block. Yuki reached out to hold Mu's hand just so they wouldn't accidentally stray from each other, if he allowed it. She stayed quiet though, unsure of what to talk about. Perhaps they'd have a conversation going when something caught their eye at one of these stores.

Mu would let Yuki hold his hand, lacing their fingers together and looking through the shop windows for something that caught his fancy. He stopped in front of store that showed a collection of kimono in the front window and looked at them with a small pout "This shop usually has an amazing selection, but it is only after a long while. They keep the same kimonos in stock until they run out, and I've bought all the ones in the window." He thought for a moment before looking at Yuki "We could go in and get you one! Then we can be matching one day. Maybe convince Occam to get one too..."

Yuki was impressed Mu had so many but at the same time, she guessed that was to be expected with his family's personal wealth. Though, she felt an odd sadness hearing he already had every one of the display kimonos. There was just something she couldn't place a finger on that made her feel that way. They're all so pretty though... She guessed it didn't really matter too much if Mu already had each of them. He wore them and seemed to be heavily appreciative of their designs enough to get so many. The girl jumped a little in surprise to Mu's sudden thought of getting her one. "Get.. me one? I... That's asking so much though..." She had conflicting feelings over it. How fun would it be to have a matching kimono with her teammates? Very. But to be given one so suddenly threw her off and she absolutely felt a need to get Mu something just as special in return should they have gone through with it.

Mu waved her words away and all but dragged her into the store "Nonsense. Nothing is too much for you. You're one of my best friends, after all." He gave her a bright smile before looking through the store for a kimono that would match Yuki's style. His eyes found one and he smiled before pointing it out. It was a white silk kimono with butterflies stitched into it in powder blue lace "What do you think? I have one in pink and black at home. We could match!"

In the back of her mind, Yuki began to wonder just how far her team would take the excuse of 'best friends' for things and it bothered her a little. She forced the thought away and felt that Mu wasn't going to take 'no' for an answer. She followed him in, looking at the kimonos carefully and appreciating the hard work put into making such beautiful articles of clothing. Her head shot up the moment Mu seemed to have found one. Yuki's eyes sparkled, lightly reflecting the kimono they both looked at. "It's really gorgeous..." Immediately she thought Kori would get jealous over her little sister getting something like that. Her mind jumped to something Mu said prior, about the three of them having a matching kimono."Hmm.." Would Occam really wear one with butterflies? Even then... She had a feeling he'd wear something in shades of black and darker grays. And they may have to talk him into butterfly patterns if they did find one in those colours. "Let's look around a little more, just to see if there's anything else we can choose from.", she said.
