War Is No Fun

Shiroichi awoke in a hospital bed, bandages across his chest and the room dark. It took him a second to realize his surroundings. With some pain, the boy took himself from bed and walked over to the window, opening the curtains to peer outside the door. He hated hospitals, they reminded him of the frailty of a Novas body. Why had he been so cursed to be born into a race of such weakness? Why couldnt he have been born a sturdy Ronin or the painless Cypher? It pissed him off at times.

As shiro peered outside Kid would jump inside and offer a smile looking around as he moved further into the room he would simply sit in a empty seat seeing as how his teammate looked in not too bad a shape, all they had to do was wait for there sensei who Kid had yet to meet as well as R'tari or so he thought it was possible the two had meet in the beginning of the war.

Why do you look so gloom, shiro did that attacker hurt your pride?

Kid would offer a smile and reach into his pocket before pulling out a apple half eaten but it was still good only a little brown spots here and there and as he waited he would take a bite and lean back in his chair. Haka was not cool like dipu being underground was much more confining then being in the Dipugakure dome's the air was dirty and everyone around here was on edge all the civilians were gone only leaving those planning for the war.

R'tari would walk in with his hands in his pockets wondering exactly how he got here in the first place, truth be told the journey was all just a blur since travelling over here and thus he would simply go to one of the corner and brood silently. He would leave the two to their conversation however, simply waiting for the Jonin sensei to arrive so they could figure out exactly how they'd go about this war effort. His thoughts would travel back to Mimi only for a moment he was glad that he had finally told her how he felt and that she felt the same, now it was his job to make sure to survive whatever the Dobutsu, Pandora or Shogunate threw at him. He was ready, pumped up and ready to go...well at least when Shiro was out fo the hospital at least.
