The Twelve Cataclysms of the Shinobi World (Gekihen Only)

Deep within the Land of Madness, there was a girl, no a woman who was currently hosting a dinner with eleven others on a long table adorned with food and drink as if hosting a feast of some sort. In actuality it was just dinner as usual and said woman was the leader of Gekihen the others around her being some the strongest missing nin in the world. The seating arrangement was in order of rank with her sister sitting at the other end of the table at the head. Five chairs on either side making twelve carefully arranged so that their were four middle points diving the table up equally.

She would sit at the table watching the others after they had each arrived as it was custom to wait for all the other members before beginning to eat. Upon doing so she would look around smiling before nodding allowing dinner to commence. It was what they did every night, however this night was different, this night was the time that she was finally able to start going forth with her plan. It wasn't as if she wanted to take over the world, no not at all, that wasn't her ideal no, she wanted to build a portal into the summoning realm in accordance with the prophecy of the Snake Summons however all of their attempts had been stalled until..today. Fellow members of Gekihen I have news, fucking amazing news. The Portal is stabilized and we can now proceed with our plans. However before we all traverse to the Summoning Realm I want all of you to get as strong as possible. As when we arrive, we will be placed in the endless war between the summoning contracts.  However this...this is the moment we have all been waiting for. she said a predatory grin adorning her face as she had waited an entire year for this to occur and now it was finally here.

As a result I want you to settle any existing buisness before we set out, likewise this includes Secondary Awakening. You know as well as I do why exactly we built Gekidogakure here rather than anywhere else it is due to it's close proximity to the Black Dome so that we could study it and see whether it was infact possible to awaken a second time and thankfully due to being born awakened we are capable of "Transcending" breaking past the limits of awakening to forge our own paths. Vivian said before stabbing her fork into the beef on her place and cutting it apart with her knife. Any questions. she said before lifting her fork and consuming the flesh, chewing slowly while watching the others.

Seating arrangement so as not to cause confusion

Quartz had practically dragged herself to her designated spot at the foot of the table, her feet literally sliding along the ground as she slumped into her chair. Gathering energy for only an instant she would jump her seat forwards a few times before she melting into the backrest, puffing out her cheeks a bit in her daily protest of the seating plan. Her eyes shifted between Vivian and Ivan a few times, all the way over at the other side of the table, only to contrast it with sly head turns for quick yet disappointed glances at Fleur and Aisha, causing her only to lower even further down until she appeared to be the shortest amongst the group.

Why was Vivi so mean? She already knew that Rimi would be uncomfortable down here, sitting in between the Homo lovers. Mura-chan stole my seat... She would think to herself, staring down her own chest in silence, resisting the urge to let her bottom lip fall as Diamond began her commemoration speech. Although she was listening to each and every word, it would appear as though almost everything she was saying went empty in her ears as she made no attempts to move or show any sign of reaction despite the good news and valuable information, after all, appearances had to be maintained at all times and none keep in character better then Rimi, in fact, she is now at the point where she herself is beginning to believe her childhood will last forever.

Using her back, she would push herself up to lean over the table, as she grabbed a fork and began to play with her food, twirling the vegetables all around her plate all the while letting out a brief sigh. The greens didn't really look that appetising. "Rimi has a question...Why...Doesn't Rii get to sit with Iva-kun?" Her voice would get lower the further she managed to get into the sentence, the topic being bought up more then once while sitting at the table, the answer always skipping over her head until she tries again a month or two later. Slightly embarrassed, or some kind of feeling similar, she would stab into a single pea, popping it into her mouth, before she returned to creating simple shapes from her food, essentially making a perfect square around her steak, glancing to her left in secret to see if Peridot was watching her amazing artistic ability.

OOC: I don't know what colour i was suppose to use, If this claimed by another character, i'll change it.

Topaz watched with a bit of disgust. He respected her yea, but that didn't mean he had to enjoy her little pep talks. She did know how to set a table, even if her seating arrangement was terrible. He could do a better job in his sleep. It'd start with putting Muramasa and his ilk far away from the table. Most likely in another room out of his sight. A sigh escaped his lips as he tore into a piece of bread. His cheek resting against his fist as he leaned away from Serana. The fact that he'd been placed next to her remained an insult.

The bitch ate with her mouth open, had no proper table matters, and stank of fish. Or at least that's how she might as well have seemed to him. She could walk with flawless grace, and be fluent in several different languages, but to him he'd still call her a clumsy bitch, and uncultured swine. Hate was a word that didn't do him much justice in this case. He'd been waiting for the bitch to eat shit and die really, or was it eat dick and die? She was Muramasa's cock sleeve after all. Might as well have been the maggots inside the pig's shit. Tearing a piece of the bread he pressed it around the beef in his plate, letting it absorb the juices before putting the piece into his mouth.

His hand would then move toward the glass just above his plate and put it to his lips, drinking the cold substance as Vivian continued her recap. Placing the glass down his gaze fell on the beef in his plate. Picking up his fork and knife he slowly began sawing into it, allowing its deep red juices to slowly gush out of the ever growing cut. His knife stopped as he heard Rimi speak, only continuing after she'd finished asking her stupid question. Haven't we been over this already Vivian? ALL of this? Plan's not exactly hard to follow, you'd have to be pretty fucking stupid not to get it. The "all of this" aimed directly at Rimi with his gaze helping to solidify this by glaring at her.

A plan unfolding, unfurling after a long time of planning. Maybe it was time to leave the shadows, come out into the light as the true force of reckoning that they were. Or at least he was pretty sure that was what Diamond wanted to do. The idea itself was interesting to Emerald, certainly a fascinating plan but he couldn't quite muster the energy to fully, truly care. Oh he was going to go with whatever Diamond said, of course he was because she was the leader, made to be such and she was also the one that had the best plans. Made sense didn't it?

So now it was time, the dinner was in... Oh five minutes if his calculations were correct and they probably would be, so it was time to walk there. Getting off of the wall he was leaning against, he wandered off to the dining hall, at the same time checking the seating plan. All seemed well, the sisters were at either end of the table, he was sitting next to Mur-... And her. Always next to her, Diamond had to have done it to bother him. Even the thought caused his odd blood to rush to his cheeks, scorching them before he battered the emotions away.

"As always..." He murmured to himself, reaching up and resting his hand on his head. He then reached the Dining Hall, bang on the dot when he was supposed to arrive and quickly took his seat, colour entering his cheeks once more as he gave a shy, wave and 'hello' to Jade before staring at his food, waiting for everyone else. Once the festivities had started and Diamond had went over her plan, he had to give a slight amount of props to Topaz, as much as he didn't want to, but the plan had been said multiple times. Nevertheless, always nice to know how everything was going.

"Transcending... Breaking the limits... It all sounds so fruity. How do we know it won't just kill us? I mean, I wouldn't mind getting more power, always worthwhile but... I wouldn't like to lose anyone..." At his last word he glanced over to Jade, doing his best to make it discrete and then masking a blush by taking a drink, letting the liquid calm him down. "However, as always, it's your say, boss. You want us to head to the Dome, damn right I'll head to that dome..." D'jango's lax voice crawled out, nice and slow, calm, as it should be. He wasn't bothered by any of this, well apart from sitting next to... Her... Agh why couldn't he just talk to her. Everyone else was fine apart from her.

...time would fly by as usual, not disturbing this young man's nap, we can call it that for the time being due to him being woken up. Looking around, the man would yawn then think about what was going on with the world. Then it would hit him, wasn't he called for a dinner with the others? This is something he would usually not care about, but since there was one person in that group who was capable of beating him into a bloody mess it would be in his best interest to attend despite his extreme lack to do so. Stretching, he would jump up then make his way to the meeting spot, after his nap he would want something in his stomach, hopefully this meeting would involve food.

Opening the doors to the room, Ivan would initially look around to see who were all present. A good amount of the gang was here, but the part that excited him was the food, not that it showed under his sluggish and unmotived demeanor. He already knew his seating position, one which was quite unfortunate to be honest. Pulling his chair back, he would take his seat and let a yawn leave him again. The presence of this room seemed a little serious, Ivan must have missed something important. Would he actually need to ask about what he missed, honestly was it even something worth him investing his time in. Probably. What did I miss? His tone would be that of a person not caring that he just missed something important nor of somebody who completely cared about what he missed. It was just a question in the search for knowledge as what he missed would probably catch his interest. Speaking of his interest, they had food, it was time to each.

Cutting his beef in three, he would take his fork and impale one piece then begin to eat it. Currently he would have nothing to say, considering he still didn't know what was going on, but it wasn't like he would have a lot to say either way, as he was more of a man of action than words. And after action he was a man of sleep, that is considering Quartz isn't around. Speaking upon the Quartz fact, crap she was here, Ivan had found a nice spot to sleep away from her and now due to this dinner, she found him. Hiding this time around would be harder than before. However he found his objective, escape this place once the meeting was done, fast so Quartz won't catch him. Then find another place to occupy his time until something came up. Maybe he would head to that dome, she woudn't follow him there, would she?

Sapphire had entered with Ruby, as always at dinner time. She personally dreaded dinner time because it meant she couldn't be next to Ruby, instead Diamond insisted she sit next to Topaz which was absolute ick. She wasn't even directly across from Mura so she couldn't stare into his deep, red eyes while Diamond droned on about whatever her next great plan was. Sapphire respected Diamond, even valued her as a member of her small family. It was just the fact that anyone that got between Ruby and herself didn't deserve the time of day, never mind her attention. So here she sat, stirring some green, leafy things with her fork and poking the meat with her knife. She wasn't all that hungry to be honest, not for real food anyway.

As a succubus she had...other hungers, but she'd eat the food all the same, had to keep up appearances and what not. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Topaz staring at her with a scowl on his face, always the scowl with that one. He was constantly grumpy and all in all never fun to be around. She wasn't even sure what she had done to anger him so much, he simply hated her and her love toy. Ruby. Back to Ruby, as always. Her love. Her one true desire. Shit, she missed her mouth. Quickly scanning the table she made sure no one had seen her mistake and placed the hunk of meat in her mouth where it belonged. That thought didn't come out right. She shrugged, it made sense if she had been thinking about Ruby. Oh well.

All this transcendence and war business, didn't we just get out of a war? Not that we played a major role or anything but still. Why can't we all just sit around and stare at the clouds for a bit? She asked, twirling her fork in the air, a piece of leafy greens hanging from it. She rolled her eyes when she realized no one cared nor was listening to her, Well whatever, as always check me off for whatever Ruby-kun is doing. She put her fork down and took a long swig from the liquid in her crystal glass. It tasted like a deep red wine, but she couldn't be entirely sure what it was. For all she knew Diamond had drugged it. If Ruby had then well, it certainly wouldn't be the end of the world. She smiled to herself as she raised the glass to her lips a second time and watched the table go about their business.

Diamond would place what she had stabbed with her fork into her mouth, chewing quickly while she took in the reactions of the others, Ivan of course would arrive late as usual and she would swallow as Sapphire and Emerald would say things before she would lean back into her chair letting them finish before she would say her own. Yeah I know but some people need it repeated over and over until they get it Yaxley. Ivan you didn't miss anything not that you'd care either way. D'jango you won't die unless your not careful I have run tests and the various missing nin that we had managed to obtain that were in fact...awakened childen were successful. Mostly anyways. Vivia said while looking around the table sure enough D'jango was still flustered around Ming not that she'd really notice him, while Muramasa and Serana both were obviously more concerned about each other than the information that she was spreading.

Well fuck peace and watching the clouds. It's boring and I refuse to stagnate like you did Serana. For Datara's sake your supposed to be the fucking Sapphire yet Topaz is a higher rank than you. That goes for you too D'jango, the two of you better step it up even Rimi's doing better than you. And she's...Rimi. Vivian said her eyes darting from both Sapphire and Emerald before settling on her twin sister sitting across from her. She had of course purposefully ignored Rimi's comment seeing as she was always trying to get to sit next to Ivan. Seeing as he was an enabler who didn't know how to telll Rimi no and stop her need to be close to him it would seem whatever she herslef did to help him out of the situation would never work. Besides no one gets to sit where they want because you guys, and gals will just end up picking seats next to your favorite people and begin fighting over where to sit because that's just how you lot are. So no, no one gets to sit were they please, Rimi. Vivian said glaring at her younger sibling before picking up her goblet and taking a a couple of gulps before placing it down.

Anyways any news on the state of things. We are surrounded by the other factions, though they wouldn't dare fuck with us but regardless any news on their plans or are we still in the fucking dark?

It seems the wild onyx had made his entry, drawing Rimi’s eyes to him almost instantly. She spent at least an hour looking for him before dinner to showcase her new brush, but he was no where to be found. Vivi must have been hiding him away against his will. Speaking of which ,why was she being such a bitch? “Even Rimi is doing better…” What a load of bullshit. The comment stung hard as she dropped her fork on the table, looking up for a quick glare at her older sister before letting out a single sound to counter all her words. “Hmph” Her eyes and head would turn away with attitude, no doubt indicating the start of her silent treatment to just about everyone at this table absent Ivan of course. She’d give him a quick glance from the corner of her eyes, before returning her gaze to the framed wall. It was times like these where her patience and character was tested to the brink of exposure, fortunately however, it wouldn’t ever happening while he was around. The possibility of him hiding not even logical within her mind as it goes against the laws of attraction.

No longer wishing to participate in this pathetic dinner party (because she was soooo into it before), she’d take hold of her cutlery once more, destroying the pretty picture she created by stabbing at her food randomly, not eating, just stabbing, messing everything up into one large pile of crap, only the beef still in one piece. It would remain that way while on her fork too, slopping over as she took bites without relying on that tool known as a dinner knife. Cutting was too hard, she always messed it up and she sure as hell wasn’t going to ask the bush munchers beside her to do it in her stead…who knows what they’d do to it. Probably something perverted and weird in order to seduce Rimi because she was such a beautiful princess of this dark eerie castle, trapped forever as she waits for her one true love to rescue them both…But the gorgeously evil witch had trapped him in her spell, he too now a prisoner to her charms. Does Rimi even like her, or is it just her magic taking hold of Rimi’s heart too? Ah, what should I do…

Her imagination offered some kind of release from this boring world, as everyone would stare at one another with their little awkward lovely dovey stuff that only Rimivan should be allowed to do, but no, they were at least trying to be reserved about it. Noticing the new name she had just come up with, Quartz would begin to blush, flustering with her food and she looked at the wall once more to avoid any attention…So there were more then eight ways to successfully combine their names. This information needs to be recorded immediately, now, how to escape the table without notice from Diamond. The toilet? No, that won’t work, her magic will see straight through it. Think Rimi, think!
