Xan was walking in his gear having just finished training with his apprentice Tumu, he was bright kid and seemed to take to learning kenjutsu which pleased Xan. Not many had the discipline necessary to truly become great kenjutsu users and some who had the potential whether by being a Samurai or a Cypher seemed to waste it in the pursuit of other ventures mainly because they were envious of the more flashy classes of shinobi. However that was a thought for another time, he was currently walking through the metropolis mainly to patrol the streets and make sure there wasn't any trouble from petty criminals. Most Jonin only seemed to think patrolling the outer city limits was enough but Xan knew better sure they had Chunin running about policing the streets but every now and then they slipped up and missed something and thus Xan had taken it upon himself to watch the streets in his downtime seeing as he wasn't one to fully relax.

But who was more angry was the clerk of the store, who's business was being hindered due to this person. Go away, you damn octopus before I cut your legs off and sell them. Seemed the other person yelling was an octopus, one that talked apparently, who didn't take the threat to kindly. The end result being a water blast taking out the shop leaving it as nothing but a watery mess. Now that, that was done the octopus would need a secondary goal, so how about destroying those damn boats which were harvesting his octopi brethren.
