Knightmare's nightmare

In a world surrounded by sadness and shame
Makes it hard to smile through the pain
Still we proceed walking, trudging down the lane
Hoping, wishing, pleading to be taken away
Away from the solace, away from the blight
Try as we might, we cannot fight
No silver lining, no bright side, no shining light
Makes what grows inside tremble with delight
Got to leave this town
Jack's inbound...

(Mouthbreathers)
What is wrong with my head?
Nothing man, want them dead?
Fill them with pain grief and misery instead
Want me to end it all, with these voices in my head
Beware world jack isn't dead

(Lorraine)
Beaten, bruised, and emotionally scarred
The one who gives life goes too far
Can't distinguish what right and wrong
Only knows how to hurt
Shouldn't be surprised when it comes to see
Just how lonely they have made me
Silent, alone, always alone
Never had a place to call home
Only way to live is on my own
Solitude, silence, my only true friend
Allows us to remove whats in our head
Pain and destruction is what is wanted
For all that has kept us tired and unwanted
They will all know our pain
Because it won't be in vein

(Alone)
Isolation, desolation, confusion
Life if just an illusion
Nothing is true
False smiles, empty gestures, and kind words
All fake, my world is blue
Lies, deceit, dead eyes
Just another day for me
Appreciation, adulations, even motivation
Won't shift this point of view
Broken, formless, bottom of a well
Who knew solitude could let us dwell
On past mistakes, oh there have been a few
Maybe enough to drive us through,
Through to the other side,
Let us cross the line

(Eyes)
Green eyes that seem to pierce my center
Dont think i should let them enter
Darkness, hatred, and utter contempt
Only emotion they will see
When they meet the real me

Humanity....
Capable of greatness
Good or evil, but still great
Save a life, or take one
It's all the same
Diseased, immoral, yet kind and gentle
Is our species doomed?
About damn time
