Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific tenketsu on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. By learning this fighting style the user becomes more knowledgeable about their limits in combat, and eventually learn how to lengthen the amount of time they are able to maintain their gates active. The starting length of the Eight Gates technique is dependent on the user's Endurance Tiers as the chakra flowing through their body upon the release of this technique is stressful but those who possess high enough endurance can endure said pain longer than those without. Through retraining this specific technique, the user can extend this duration by 5 Posts (Total) each time, and depending on the user's rank their max limit varies. Likewise this technique serves as both a gate way and a means for the user to partially bypass their max technique limit, this is due to upon retraining this technique to a certain rank the user is able to utilize a specific gate (and those below it) even if they haven't learned the technique and thus added it to their technique limit. This comes at the drawback of halving the activation time & doubling the recoil upon deactivation, however to some the risks are well worth the rewards. Description: This is one of the final transformations in the Nightmare Transformation Line. This state is achieved through training the true form and looks identical in appearance to the Base True Form, however when mastered the user no longer needs to power up to increase their power level, being able to access their full power instantly and without having to bulk up their muscles while having a red aura surrounding them in a swirling motion with black and white sparks occasionally appearing around it. Description: This form is the strongest of Nightmare Transformation forms, the only shown users of this transformation is those who truly reach enlightenment through training and a life of countless battles. It is named as the Ultimate Evolution. It's implied and a fact that the user can choose the color of their biological body in this form once chosen it is final while the energy pouring off of their body is a golden and swirls out like a tornado however it can be compressed into their body to completely erase the aura to visible sight, when swirling out any one with kinetic sensory capable dojutsu that look at it are blinded for the entire topic due to the intensity of the constant release. In this Ultimate Evolution form it is said that the Nightmare Transformation outclasses the famous Super Saiyan God form due to using Fatigue as a source which is physical unlike Chakra thus granting the user Samurai Lvl Tiers. However the overwhelming power the form presents comes at a great cost, the form is very taxing on the user's stamina which causes their stamina to drop increasingly fast the longer they are in the form, and as such the state cannot be held for long periods of time unless one has access to unlimited stamina reserves. Description: Seven Heaven's Breathing Method is a taijutsu breathing method reinvented by a unique member of the Fantom Family by gathering up large amounts of oxygen which is filtered into the body oxygenating the blood and increasing ones physical capabilities. It bears notable similarities to the vaunted Eight Gates and as such contains techniques which require specific breath's to utilize. As a result it is capable of temporarily breaking the limits subconsciously restricting the user's body at the risk of causing their body to expire more quickly. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to activate these breaths allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. By learning this fighting style the user becomes more knowledgeable about their bodies natural limitations and can eventually learn how to lengthen the amount of time they are able to maintain this techniques activation. The starting length of the Seven Heavenly Breathing Method is based on the user's Endurance Tiers as the oxygen energizing the blood is taxing on the body after the activation of this technique but those who possess high amounts of endurance can endure this agony for longer periods than others. Through weekly retraining stemming from this specific technique which can be done ONCE every rank, the user can extend this duration by at least 1 Post (Total) each time, and depending on the user's rank their max limit varies. Likewise this technique serves as a gateway and alternative to the Eight Gates for those who completely lack chakra since it isn't dependent on it but merely one's bodies upper limit without being empowered by the energy source. In order to activate the "The Seven Breaths Respiration" of the Seven Heavens Breathing Method the user must not exhale instead depleting the stored breaths within their body. This causes the yellow aura to darken into orange as it is released from all pores, hair and nails. Triggering this breath uses up all of the bodies energy while causing the lungs to breathe at maximum power, while granting the users 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Tier's boosts to +7 Tier Levels. Deactivating this breath, whether due to the time-limit running out or ones own personal preference assures the user's death shortly after which occurs after the breath activation duration runs out however one can cling to life for the duration of the topic as long as they don't run out of fatigue. While active due to the pain of activation the user is broken out of up to A-rank genjutsu &/or genjutsu chains, including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Regardless of the user's pain threshold due to the oxygen coursing through their body, the pain associated with the activation of this technique will not cause them any adverse effects until after this technique has been deactivated. Exiting the topic, and/or running out of fatigue results in death with the limited amount of time varying depending on the user's age. The power granted by this form exceeds normal limits granting the user perception capabilities on par with Muscle Tension & when used in conjunction with Time-Slowing Dojutsu allows their perception to be on par with a Premonition/Precognition Dojutsu in addition to granting the user the ability to enhance the Tier Chains of (Insert 1st, 2nd & 3rd Tiers) with the boosts from this technique. While active due to the pain of activation the user is broken out of up to S-rank genjutsu &/or genjutsu chains, including those which are normally incapable of being broken out of through pain. Likewise during this mode the user gains the benefits of all previous breaths (1-6) simultaneously, with the Seven Breath Respiration acting like a second wind due to the user's body and brain knowing that this is the end and thus giving it their all. Unlike the normal version, in it's true state upon the user deactivating this technique they will instantly dissipate into dust while their soul will be claimed by Susano'o thus preventing resurrection. Description: Requires Gate of Opening to be active. The Front Lotus requires the opening of the first of the Eight Chakra Gates, giving the user five times their normal strength. The user kicks their opponent into the air and then uses Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. While in the air the user grabs them from behind before flipping them upside down so that their feet are at the victims head and their head is at the victims feet and the user holds them in place with B-rank Strength before spinning rapidly and drilling them into the ground while falling at Crashing Ground Speeds. A simple yet deadly technique as it requires a movement slowing dojutsu + Vacuum Release speeds, B-rank Reaction Tiers + Crashing Ground speeds or Blinding Light Speeds AND an technique to move while in mid-air for the person to be able to avoid the grab as they are helpless upon being launched high up. The speed of the drilling spin can be accelerated by opening additional Gates with each gate opened increasing the speed of the drop by 1 Level (I.E B+ to B++) and boosting the damage the victim sustains upon impacting the ground. However the user likewise takes damage due to recoil when this technique is used equal to 1-rank below the damage sustained by the victim's base fall damage. Description: Requires at least Gate of Life to be active. This is a more destructive version of the Front Lotus that requires at least three of the Eight Gates be opened. Once enough gates are opened, the user kicks the target into the air and continues to strike them at inhuman speeds (3rd Gate = A+, 4th Gate = S+, 5th Gate = SS+). They then deliver a final, powerful open-handed strike and kick at the same time, sending the target crashing into the ground; this is usually fatal due to the speed and power behind the attack. Opening so many gates at the same time will likely leave the user unable to stand afterwards, and for that reason the Reverse Lotus can only be performed once unless the user possesses Pain Tolerance/Immunity. Regardless they will be immensely fatigued as depending on their skill level the number of blows they rain on their opponent will consume a stamina price. Furthermore due to the victim being knocked into the air they are unable to dodge the repeated hits unless they possess either Muscle Tension/Time-Slowing Dojutsu + A-rank Reaction Tiers & an Air movement technique equivalent in speed to the user's movement. Name: Morning Peacock Classification: Kintaijutsu Rank: A Class: Offensive Range: Short, Mid (Knockback)
Description: Requires Gate of View to be Active. The Morning Peacock is a certain-kill taijutsu born from the philosophy of the Strong Fist. The principle of this taijutsu is to rapidly increase the body's abilities by opening up to and including the sixth of the Eight Gates, and then to strike the enemy down with countless punches. The technique is started by kicking the enemy into the air, which for most would be an instant kill depending on how high the user's tiers are, if the victim does not possess defense tiers or a means of defending form the attack. Regardless the victim is launched 40 feet into the air at vacuum release speeds unless they possess at least A-rank strength to tense their body upon impact (Strength Tiers can increase the Strength Req to Negate Knockback). The user then jumps into the air in a distinctive stance and begins punching the enemy repeatedly with opponents lacking an air movement technique A-rank or above + speed equal to the incoming punches being unable to dodge the follow up. The punches are so fast, they are set ablaze by sheer speed and friction which in turn creates a peacock-like fan of flames around the opponent each punch thrown subtracts a -1 from the user's fatigue limit to deal physical fire release damage equal to the user's strength tiers. As a result the number of punches launched is only limited by how much the user decides to exert themselves while requiring opponents who block to keep up their guard over multiple posts (total) otherwise they fall prey to the constant barrage of punches, depending on the user's skill the number of punches they can throw per post (total) varies. Once the attack is finished, the enemy will be sent crashing back to the ground, covered with the attack's aura their body often engulfed in flames to deal constant A-rank fire release damage unless they possessed A-rank defense tiers to negate the status effect. Description: Requires Gate of Wonder Active. The Daytime Tiger, contrary to its appearance, is purely taijutsu in nature and is nothing more than an incredibly fast punch. After opening the seventh of the Eight Gates, the user places a palm facing forward in front of their face with one hand and then taps it with his other hand, formed into a fist, which creates a massive amount of air pressure. This has an activation delay of 15 posts with a S-rank of strength, however the countdown can be shortened by tapping a second time with SS-rank strength (-5 posts), a third time with SS-rank strength (-7 posts) reducing the overall activation time to just 2 posts (total). Next, the user forms a unique hand seal resembling a tiger signifying initiation of the true technique. This launches the air pressure at the opponent in the shape of one by leaving a gigantic tiger-shaped impression into the initially built-up air pressure with the hand seal. The air pressure will condense as it's moving at either Vacuum release speeds or the fastest speed that the user used to tap their outstretched palm and be focused into a single point giving it the ability to push whatever it comes in contact (as long as it is equal to or lower than either S-rank or the strongest tap made on the user's outstretched hand) with over a distance of 25-50ft. The technique then explodes on command, releasing the built up air pressure in an instant. A massive explosion which has a radius equal to 400ft due to the intensely built up pressure however is unique in the fact that their is no blowback facing the direction that the user punched at (Meaning if they punched forward the explosion occurs expanding in every direction but back towards the user). Description: Requires Gate of Death Active. The Evening Elephant is a high-level, forbidden taijutsu that can be performed by those users who have opened all Eight Gates. This technique is a continuous assault of five punches, with each "foot" (足, soku) — as they are referred to — being performed faster than the one before. It creates a vacuum of pressurised air which bears the appearance of an elephant's leg, causing devastating damage to the opponent. In total there are five punches, the first occurs at SS-rank Speeds and is enough to affect anything 30ft of the user with a 60ft diameter (Also is the size and depth of the hole left if the user misses for some reason). The second occurs at Ripping Discord, the third occurs at SSS-rank Speeds, the fourth occurs at Echoing Flash and the fifth occurs at speeds so fast (SSS-rank++) that only opponents with Echoing Flash + Muscle Tension/Time-Slowing Dojutsu/SSS-rank Reaction Tiers or another Eight Gate Formation User can successfully avoid dodging it. Each punch inflicts physical SS-rank Air Release damage and physical damage equal to the user's strength tier (only if the user makes contact with the opponent in the case of the latter). If one punch lands then dodging becomes impossible with opponents only being able to block unless they possess an air movement technique due to the intense knockback dealt with each punch. Despite the knockback during this technique the user is so fast that they are able to intercept the opponents body mid-flight allowing them to repeatedly punish the opponent with this formidable technique. Description: Requires Gate of Death: Eight Gates Formation to be Active & Forcibly Ends Eight Gates Technique regardless of time remaining upon completion. The Night Guy is a forbidden taijutsu of the highest level, that takes the shape of a dragon, and can only be performed by opening all Eight Gates. When the user initiates the technique, he/she emits a huge amount of chakra equal to the total amount remaining in their chakra reserves. After gathering all of this chakra around his body — forming a red, flickering dragon-like aura due to the user's very life-force being sucked out an added to this technique — he/she dashes forward at such an extreme speed (Requires SSS-rank Samurai Speed + 2 of the following: Muscle Tension, Time-Slowing Dojutsu, SSS-rank Reaction or Flying Thunder God in order to successfully dodge) that the space (空間, kūkan) within the immediate vicinity of the technique is distorted, allowing the user to completely bypass his target's defenses as long as they are SSS-rank and below. The user then deals an immensely powerful kick dealing SSS-rank Spiritual Dmg+Chakra Dmg Equal to the Amount of Chakra Gathered around the user+The user's Strength Tier which carries such force that it is capable of obliterating the target's body down to a sub-atomic level, as well as creating a devastating shock wave (70ft diameter) linear to the kick, capable of causing damage from afar. The recoil is such that it completely shatters the bones in the user's own leg despite the fact that their own defensive capabilities are drastically magnified due to the Eight Gates Formation. As a result of being the strongest maneuver possible by the Eight Gates, following the attack are fatal repercussions as it leaves the user on the brink of death; slowly turning into ash, crumbling from the immense discharge of their chakra while their very soul flickers and vanishes from existence.
