Mission Info:

Indra sighed as he lifted the large rock from the pile of rubble he stood upon. Incoming! He yelled, though they had been at this for several hours now and everyone knew to stay well clear of the people heaving skull-crushing stones down from the top of the rubble pile. The watermelon sized rock slammed into the ground, shattering into shards and bits of earth. More workers scrambled forward, retrieving the smaller, lighter pieces and placing them in carts to be taken away. As Indra turned back to the rubble pile, he absently wondered what they were going to do with all this rubble. It wasn't like they could use it for material to rebuild the wall, then again, he didn't know the capacity or control Earth Release users had. Although...if they had any of that control and ability he wouldn't be sweating in the middle of this rubble pile, breathing in dirt and debris for hours today, now would he? They'd have gotten this wall put together and back up in a day, rather than the multiple days it was taking just to move the rubble.

Indra cringed, angry with himself now. In comparison to the others, Shukaku had been, ironically, rather gentle with Kohaigakure. People had still died though and plenty of others had lost their homes and worldly possessions. It wasn't all bright sunshine and rainbows. Kohaigakure could count themselves lucky, but when looking at the others they were "competing" with, luck left a sour taste in a person's mouth. Indra looked back down the rubble pile to make sure it was clear before seizing the next rock he had been eying. This one at least three times the size of the previous and would take two hands, even for him. He grunted, channeling chakra through his muscles and lifted with his knees.
Incoming! He yelled to warn off the others and they made sure to stand back a safe distance from any debris. Then, Indra heaved the rock over his head, sending it sailing through the air and impacting the ground beneath him nearly dead center of the working area. It cratered the ground a bit, leaving a sizable mark as it split apart into three pieces.

He dusted his hands on his pant leg and smiled. He was hot, tired, even a little bored of the monotony of this work, but he was still lucky. Lucky to have work, lucky to be able to work, lucky just to be alive. Indra wiped sweat from his brow as he surveyed the work across the village. He wasn't terribly high, but high enough to get a good vantage point of it all. A warm breeze, not all too refreshing, rushed across the rooftops and rubble piles. Down below, across the street, men and women had attached ropes and were beginning to pull down a cracked wall of a building. Apparently they were unable to see the multiple boulders and shards of stone that had fallen onto the roof of the building from the village wall. If they pulled that wall down, the rocks would fall off the side and crush some of the workers. Indra's eyes changed color on instinct as he suddenly shot forward from the rubble pile, causing boulders to tumble and ripple at the base. The wall began to groan and creak, separating the rest of the way from its building as the workers pulled.
Look out! He yelled as a massive boulder fell from the roof towards the guide rope workers near the base of the wall. Indra leapt from the pile, pulling back a fist infused with chakra and slamming it into a massive boulder that had just cast its shadow over the two, unaware workers. They looked up in stunned horror as Indra's fist connected with the rock and caused it to literally vaporize into a cloud of mostly pebbles and dust. Indra landed on the downed wall, coughing and wiping dust from his mouth from the boulder as smaller rocks rained down around them. Some of the workers were struck, but they'd simply be bruised rather than carted off to the morgue. As the dust settled, Indra nodded to them and returned to his pile. Yeah, he was lucky alright.
