| Civilized RacesThere are five civilized races within the Great Forest, each of them has their own distinct look, ideology and most importantly are not considered to be "Monsters". They are more organized, and grow slowly overtime however despite this they have a greater degree of technology and overall skill at fighting due to not benefiting from the raw stats that monsters possess. The Five Races are all based within particular areas within the Great Forest and as a result have an antagonistic relationship with one of the five starter races. Just like the starter races they are neither friendly nor hostile to other civilized races however while Monsters typically attack on sight, Civilized Races will instead communicate using language as it is something innate to them. Every Civilized Race has 4 Noble Houses & 1 Royal House which rules over all nobles, and these have the highest power within their societies. Nobles are encountered rarely, but when they do, they always have some sort of interaction with Monsters that can either put said monster(s) in a favorable or unfavorable light with the rest of their family. The Nobles of other civilized races are unaffected by your exploits with a particular race except during wars. This is known as Fame or Infamy; this can be cultivated by the following ways: 1. Raiding a Settlement (+1 Infamy with specific House said settlement belongs to) 2. Destroying/Occupying a Settlement (+2 Infamy with specific House said settlement belongs to, +1 Infamy with Rival Houses) 3. Assisting a Noble (+1 Fame with said House, +1 Infamy with Rival Houses) 4. Killing a Noble (+2 Infamy with said House, +1 Infamy with Rival Houses) 5. Assisting a Royal (+1 Fame with all Houses, +1 Fame with Royal House) 6. Killing/Capturing a Royal (+3 Infamy with Nobles Houses, +5 Infamy with Royal House) 7. Killing/Capturing a Ruler (+10 Infamy with Royal House, +5 Infamy with Noble Houses, +3 Infamy with specific Civilized Race) 8. Capturing a Noble (+3 Infamy with said House, +2 Fame with Rival House) 9. Killing/Capturing a Hero (+3/+4 Infamy with said House, +1/+2 Infamy with All Houses) 10. Warring with/against Civilized Race (+4 Fame with said Race, +3 Fame with said Houses, +2 Infamy with All Enemy Houses OR +5 Infamy with said Race, +3 Infamy with Royal House, +2 Infamy with Noble Houses) - Determining Civilized Race Equipment:
Civilized Races always have equipment this is because they use gear to make up for their lack of raw stats. The calculation is quite simple however and is explained below.
No. of Equipment = 1 Less than No. of Jobs x Tier of Highest Job.
So if a Human has 4 Jobs and one of them is Tier I then they have 3 Pieces of Equipment which includes Weapons, Shields, Armor or/& Items
For Heroes it's a bit different.
No. of Equipment = 1 More than No. of Jobs x Tier of Highest Job.
- Human:
Humans are the furthest removed from Monsters, they can get up to 5 Jobs, this gives them the most versatility out of the intelligent races which coupled with their balanced capabilities allows them to become anything they set their mind to; however, they cannot utilize the Rank-Up System at all unlike all other intelligent races. They are set at being a Tier 0 Race, Any Half-Race has 1 More Job than their Non-Human Parent, while due to Human's balanced stats they only receive the beneficial stats of their Non-Human Parents unlike the other mixes who have both the benefits and flaws of both of their parent's races. Humans are considered the most Heroic out of all the Civilized Races, and have an antagonistic relationship with Goblins. Humans have domesticated Swine, Cattle, Cats, Dogs & Horses. Typically, Humans live for 40-60 years, those with noble or heroic lineage live for 60-80 years while Heroes themselves typically live for 80-100 years if they are not killed in battle. Humans are native to ??? & their Noble Houses are: Royal = Lysander 1. House Albion (Rivals with Hightower) 2. House Gremory (Rivals with Richter) 3. House Hightower (Rivals with Albion) 4. House Richter (Rivals with Gremory) - Human Stats:
Tier 0 - Str - End - Res - Dex - Mag - Int - Lck - Size Human___ - (F+) - (F+) - (F+) - (F+) - (F+) - (F+) - (F+) - Hu
- Dwarf:
Dwarves are the second furthest removed from Monsters, they can get up to 4 Jobs and have a diverse selection of job options due to being able mix-and match combinations of two, three or even all four of their jobs, however their ability to gain power through the rank up system pales in comparison to Monsters. They are able to Rank-Up to Tier I at Max & the amount of Jobs they have when mixed with another Civilized Race varies (3 if Mixed with Beast Man). Dwarves are considered the most Industrious out of all the Civilized Races, and have an antagonistic relationship with Lizardkin. Dwarves have domesticated Sheep, Goats, Worms, Beetles & Geckos. Typically, Unranked Dwarves live for 100-150 years, those with noble or heroic lineage live for 150-200 years while Heroes themselves typically live to 200-250 years if they are not killed in battle. Dwarves are native to ??? & their Noble Houses are: Royal = Goldbeard 1. House Hammerfel (Rivals with Stonefist) 2. House Stonefist (Rivals with Hammerfel) 3. - Elf:
Elves are the middle-ground between Monsters and Non-Monsters, they can get up to 3 Jobs & are able to use the Rank-Up system to earn power, being balanced in both aspects. They are able to Rank-Up to Tier II at Max & Any Civilized Race mixed with Elf has the amount of Jobs they can gain set to 3. Elves are considered the most mystical out of all the Civilized Races, and have an antagonistic relationship with Orcs. Elves have domesticated Bees, Deer, Bears, Owls and Dragonflies. Typically Unranked Elves live for 100-200 years, those with noble or heroic lineage live for 200-300 years while Heroes themselves typically live to 300-400 years if they are not killed in battle. Elves are native to ??? & their Noble Houses are: Royal = Moonstar 1. House Windrunner (Rivals with Earthshaker) 2. House Waverider (Rivals with Flamedancer) 3. - Beastman:
Beastmen are the 2nd closest to Monsters, they can get up to 2 Jobs and have more diversity in job options due to being able to earn rank-ups which possess racial skills from a combination of their first two jobs, likewise they can use the Rank-Up System to also get more power somewhat to the degree of Monsters. They are able to Rank-Up to Tier III at Max & the amount of Jobs they have when mixed with another Civilized Race varies (3 if Mixed with Dwarf). Beastmen are considered the most populous out of all the Civilized Races, and have an antagonistic relationship with Kobold. Beastmen have domesticated Snails, Fish, Amphibians, Seals and Ostriches Typically Unranked Beastmen live for 40-50 years, those with noble or heroic lineage live for 50-60 years while Heroes themselves typically live to 60-70 years if they are not killed in battle. | - Job System:
To make up for the difference in base power compared to monsters, jobs provide benefits and compensation to allow the other races intelligent enough to form civilizations (Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Beastmen & Oni) to fight on equal terms with powerful foes. Every Civilized Race is able to level up their job by simply investing time into it, and if one has the aptitude, one can even rank it up into a better one. Those called “Heroes” are also products of the “jobs” system. In fact, there exists several “Hero” jobs, which are considered Special in comparison to the Combat & Non-Combat Jobs due to their overall rarity. Jobs offer benefits when ranked in addition to abilities, but most importantly they unlike the Rank-Up system offer a steady supply of skills just by progressing through them. There are 7 Basic Combat Jobs & 7 Basic Non-Combat Jobs, every other Jobs can be obtained as a result of progression or by being taught by someone who has mastered said job. - Combat Jobs:
Tier I Jobs: Grant a Single Basic proficiency & 1 + to a Stat, Skills are earned every 25 Levels, however can be also gained depending on ones actions and upon mastering the Job you get a + to 1 Stat (Dependent on said Job). Far East
- ???:
Far South
- ???:
Far North
- ???:
Far West
