Young Vee Toketsu was kneeling on the ground between two large, iron, irrigation pipes. With her butter knife in her right hand she was carving at the dirt, making little holes. Next to her were live earth worms and small gray rocks. She made little squares in the dirt as she went. There were six holes of not quite the same sizes and shapes, one for each of the earth worms. Her ninjato was strapped to her back.

Kirigaya today was spending time with the one person who meant anything to him, his girlfriend Vee, who was at this very moment playing in the dirt for some odd reason, Kirigaya just leaned against one of the pipes staring at her wondering what she was even doing. He was darkly dressed, as was his usual attire, it was just something comforting about that color for him, which was odd, as his Girlfriend Vee was actually more so the opposite. He just stood there staring and waiting.

Her pretty white clothing was stained as she moved, but that was not nearly enough to deter her from the completion of this extremely important mission. One at a time, she picked up the live worms, shivering and quivering a bit as the little pink creatures wriggled between pinched fingers, and dropped the little critters in one at a time, dropping dirt on each between picking up another. She slowly sawed the letter "w" into each one of the stones, and then sat them next to the filled holes with worms at the bottoms of them. She then stood up, bounced a bit on her heels, smiled wide, held her hands behind her back, and said cheerfully, "There weren't enough graves! I had to fix it! Now we're a more honestly named nation!"

Listening to her made Kirigaya chuckle and shake his head, "You are way to literal with certain things, you know that?" He asked her as he pushed himself with his shoulder off the pipe he was leaning against and then looked around before asking her "So what are we going to do today, I am feeling a little antsy, how about yourself?" Kirigaya asked her , as his hands slides into his pockets, leaning back a bit, almost acting as if he really was cool or something like that

She stretched herself out a bit and leaned forward into him, pressing her body up against his and looking up into his eyes to maintain the intimacy of the words that she was about to utter. She told him in a silky voice as her young hot body was pressed up against the front of him, "I am feeling really really antsy myself," she said, rubbing her hand up against his chest, "so maybe we can find some real people to put in graves? I really really wanna have a honest country! Like how Frost is cold!" She jumped back, bouncing again on her heels, giggling at the gray dirt she had gotten on his own clothing. "I shall not rest until the whole country is built on corpses! Or until I get tired and have to go to bed!" Both of her hands were in balled fists parallel both to each other and to her chin, the backs of her hands facing him.

Kiri would chuckle again and reached out after she made her fists, and adjusted them to that the back of her fists pointed out to either side and he nodded "That is how you should hold your fists" and then he nodded "Yes Frost is cold, however You may not know the entire history of Graves, and you wish to give it more, just to appease your own mind?" He laughs a little before nodding "But first we would need someone to kill that we cannot get in trouble for killing, this is one of the few lands left that will take us, let us not ruin it, just yet anyways" Kiri looked into Vee's eyes to see if she would understand his point or not.

She continued smiling unflinchingly, reacting in no noticable way as her hands were moved by her boyfriend. There was such a strong level of trust that she did not worry about the unannounced physical contact, even though a young kunoichi, especially one of royal standing such as herself, was raised from a very young age to believe that she should be touched by men other than family only in battle, and that they should be quickly made to regret.

But within seconds after he put her fists as they should be, her wrists, as well as the rest of her petite body, went limp. At first it seemed like she was fainting, but at great speed, like she had been thrown, but before making collision with the ground the butter knife was pointed for the ground, her right hand wrapped around the handle with a death grip and her left palm pushing down on the butt of the knife. She dove the tip of the blade into the dirt, made another circle and pulled out yet another Earth Worm. She laid it out and held the knife over it, ready to bisect the living creature mercilessly, then she stopped, dug another hole, burred the worm, and put another rock over that grave. She looked up at him and said, "It will suffocate. I don't wanna get my knife all wormy!" she stated, holding up the dull, dirt covered blade.

Kiri smiled softly knowing the amount of trust that she had in him, and he would never betray that trust, he watched as she suddenly went backwards and eventually made another grave, he chuckled before finally asking her "Won't the worms just dig their ways back out of those? there is nothing stopping that from happening to my knowledge" He tilted his head as he inquired, finally poking the holes in her logic of what she was doing.

She bounced right back up like a tempered spring, brushing her white clothes off with her white sleeves and not realizing just how little work she had done, simply moving some of the gray dirt from the chest and belly of her top to her sleeves. She held her hands behind her back and titled her head at him, being very confused. "Don't we all come back eventually?" she asked, "Because if you are suggesting Buddha would lie, I dunno!"

He would laugh slightly, he was never a religious type, Vee knew this, but however, it was not that he did not disrespect Any of Vee's views on religion, just that he would not be swayed but a mere believer, and he shook his head and he corrected what he meant " I mean, wont they just dig around the rock? Nothing you have done will stop the worms from doing what they do, which is digging in the earth, so they wont die, they will just go around the rock, heck how do you know it has not been the same worm you been burying over and over again.

She raised an eyebrow and stared him down, putting her dainty hands at her wide hips. Her frigid gaze hung heavy on his face, dissecting him with her sight. It was more intense, the lay out of the village meant that there were no birds or celestial bodies by which one could properly tell the time, just the glow of the ceiling, the hum of the things passing through the pipes, and the myriad of pale, under exposed to sun light people that one could ask if they had the time. Any second of suspense could so easily pass for a minute or more of it. After some time had passed, but probably not nearly as much as she would have guessed, she spoke. "We all die eventually. That's all the worms need to know." In spite of saying something so dark, her voice was still cheery.

He shrugged, whatever she wanted to teach them, he would lay down on the ground and look up at the ceiling sighing softly, he did not know what to do or say at this point, and he was not one to talk needlessly , so at this moment he just stayed silent.

But his mind reeled with questions, like if worms really could be taught about death, all they really know about it is when something else dies it is food for them, but do they know they will die eventually too? Man what is it about this girl causing these weird questions to pop into his mind. He closed his eyes to stare at the darkness his eyelids offered, he was slowly drifting into a meditative state then actual sleeping, a place he frequented for questions such as this.
