| Luffy was getting ready at home, he figured he would only need his shinobi tools and bow and some arrows in order too pass this test or fail, he still had no idea how diffucult this would actually be and he figured if his main style of attack did not work out than he surely would not have a good chance of winning but at least he didn't have too worry about being killed or at least he thought so. He would push open the door and start walking toward the exam district it was not too far a walk so he simply went over his game plan while he walked; Hit run then do it all over again while not being detected hopefully. Depending on the target he would have too decide whether too go in close or stay back and try for a swift ending blow he made sure too check if he had his wire on him and when he looked up he would see the academy, luckily it was in the beginning of the distract.
Luffy would enter the academy waving too the few people inside today and moving straight toward the area he needed too be the main desk he had made a appointment already but it would be good too check in.

| The Kunoichi behind the main desk nodded to him and stood, motioning for him to follow her. She lead him to a door and opened it, holding it open for him to enter. Once he entered he would find himself in the middle of what looked like a rather spacious training ground. She lead him to the middle of the training area, where another Academy Student was diligently waiting. Once she was sure the two were listening she would speak "This is a Genin Exam. In this exam you two will face each other in combat until a victor is decided." Her blood red eyes flicked between the two, as if searching their souls for something "Heavily injuring someone is frowned upon, maiming is expressly forbidden and if I see any sign of a death blow I will intervene. This is to be a simple match to see who deserves to progress in the Shinobi Ranks. You two will make the Seal of Confrontation before you make any moves. Not doing so will result in an automatic disqualification." She gave a quick nod and Body Flickered to a hidden area, though one would assume she was still watching.
The male that had been there gave the other a sickly sweet smile as he made the Seal of Confrontation. His skin was as pale as a corpse and his hair was blacker than tar. His eyes were yellow and his pupils were vertical slits much like a dangerous snake. When he smiled, fangs were apparent in his mouth. It was quite clear that this was no normal human, but a Snake Faunus "I am Viper Kukinorite, and I hope to have a fun match today!" Once the other had made the Seal as well, the snake would dash backwards at D-Rank speeds on his skates in order to place distance between himself and his opponent. After that, he simply seemed to wait in order to see what the other would do. | |

| Too start Luffy would form the seal of confrontation and then scan the area it was a open space for the most part so Luffy could not hope too find any natural cover meaning he would need too rely on his own stealth techniques. "Luffy.O" And with that Luffy would begin using his spiritual endowment and considering the room was not big he would gauge out 15 feet while moving slowly and silently in motion he would begin handseal's and form a Ghost stopping. He figured if the viper had not seen him or showed signs of such as of yet he could initiate his attack being sure that his ghost would at least be unseen. Drawing it's blade the ghost would launch forward at D-Rank speeds aiming too slice though the viper due too not being able too actually touch a physical being the ghost would simply pass through and if everything worked out it would cause a C -Rank of spiritual damage upon contact. Luffy hoped too confuse the target into thinking he was moving because at the moment while the Ghost had attacked he would pull out his bow and get into a archery perch stance using his spiritual endowment as his base cover he figured he would not even have too move for this fight. - Spoiler:

Description: The fundamentals of sniping with a bow begin with choosing a firing location. Luffy does such but it can vary from need too need, with this technique it allows him too turn the most unlikely of areas into a Archers perch which in turn allows for his hidden shots. While in a perch Luffy is treated as invisible to the naked eye, not to any other sense unless also using a concealment technique to hide from it.

Description: This technique relies on spiritual energy in order too facilitate the formation of a spectral form of the user's body. This energy body is labeled "Ghost" due too the intangibility it holds. The Ghost is actually in the form of the user taking on the shape of a ghost like copy complete with the same weapons however they are simply made up of spiritual energy. This being can actually move and attack targets however it cannot physically touch them instead it causes C-Rank spiritual damage too anything it happens too come into contact with. Due too being comprised of spiritual energy the ghost is invisible too the naked eye and holds no smell and likewise makes no sound when moving along with that it holds no mass and as such offers no change too the wind when moving however it cannot travel more than 30 feet from the user at D-Rank adding 2 feet per rank up. The Ghost last a set number of post starting at 2 at D-Rank and adding 1 per rank up, likewise if the user posses spirit tiers it adds 3 at D-Rank and 3 for each rank up capping at 2 and 15.

| The training ground was actually rather spacious, measuring around 40ft in diameter. The initial distance between the two Academy Students had been around 10ft, with Viper placing another 5 between them for safety. He was still moving about, riding in a small circle in order to build up momentum. His eyes had examined the other thoroughly as they made the Seals, determining that his target was proficient in Kyujutsu, a bit of Kenjutsu and little else. He determined that distance was not his friend and that he should eliminate that as soon as possible. A jolt of pain hit him from out of nowhere and he looked around with wild eyes, trying to see where it came from. He made sure not to lose any momentum, so that he could pick up speed. He turned his eyes back to where his opponent was as he skated around, but noticed he wasn't there. He put two and two together, being a Genius, and determined that the other must've been using some sort of stealth technique. He changed his vision so that he could track his target, so long as he wasn't able to mask his heat signature. Low and behold, a heat spot just the size of his target was where he stood. He smiled a viper's smile and rode forward 5ft at D-Rank speeds before activating one of his favorite Tricks: Pressure. As he did, Luffy would feel his weight slightly increase. In fact, without D-Rank Strength he would be unable to move at all and even with it he would receive a 1-Rank debuff to his speed. The Faunus would then move in at his same D-Rank Speed, and upon getting close to the other he would aim a kick to his chest with D-Rank Strength, in order to knock him back 5ft. - Spoiler:
OOC: Training grounds are usually rather large in order to give those within space to practice. Oh and I messed up on my last post. He is a Gravity Child, so his pupils are shaped like a pointed cross.

The Gravity Children are also capable of figuring out if someone is proficient in weapon usage (Kenjutsu/Kugujutsu/Shurikenjutsu/Kyujutsu) at a glance, figuring out what their specialty is when they observe them in combat, requiring the target to always put their weapon based techniques in spoilers. With their modified intelligence, the Gravity Children are considered geniuses. As a result of this alteration in intelligence, the pupils of the Gravity Children have gone through a permanent change to a cross-shaped pupil.

Description: Being a snake Faunus, Viper has found that he is able to see the heat signatures of his targets. Being the predator he is, he saw no problem with this and actually took joy in it. This was amoung the many things that inspired him to become a hunter and hone his tracking skills. By paying a stamina price, he is able to change his vision from normal to Heat Vision, enabling him to sense heat signatures so long as they are not being masked by a Heat masking technique C-Rank or above.

Name: Gaia Trick: Pressure

Description: This is the second Trick based on a principle of the Gaia Road. This trick involves no feet movement with the user projecting an area around themselves which seems to amplify the weight of those which come within it's radius. This is based on increasing the pressure in the area in order to literally weigh down victims giving off the impression that their bodies actual weight is being amplified. This results in victims being forcibly slowed down by their own weight and often rendered immobile if they lack the strength to hold up their own body weight. Those which are larger fair much worse due to the amplified weight being overall more than those which are smaller and due to the area of effect it makes this trick useful on multiple opponents.

| Luffy would feel his weight increasing and when he tried too move he would not be able too, he figured he needed more strength too move and looking up he could see that the viper could somehow see him and considering he could not before it seemed that this opponent had a type of sensory which worked too go pass the need for visuals, it didn't matter however the ghost would be moving already and Luffy would lift himself up and let out a howl from the pain as everything began too take place and the reserves he held lessen a little more but he figured the fight was close too done. The ghost would move in for another attack though this time it would be different the ghost would move at D++ speeds in order too pass through Viper before vanishing due too only lasting for a set time. Next considering if the technique worked the viper would not be moving and unable too if Luffy could confirm such he would take advantage of the situation and launch forward at D-Rank speeds moving his bow too his back and removing his sword in one swift motion his plan was too slice a L in the target and show that he could have won and done a more fatal blow if he wanted too he hoped that the proctor could see this and end the fight in the favor of luffy, if not than Luffy would jump back and get some distance for the next attack he at least had the rest of the topic in order too get too another location and pull out his bow for the next attack. - Spoiler:

Description: This is a technique used through one of Luffy's Ghost, he pays a increased pain price too facilitate the increase in prowess by the ghost (1D-Rank blood 3 D-Ranks of pain) in which the Ghost will launch toward a intended target moving at ++ it's normal movement speed too pass through the user before dispersing what this does is place the target in shock for one post causing them too stand completely still, too the target it feels like a cold breeze passes over them until the technique wears off. The effects can be offset by D-Rank barrier/Spirit or C-Rank Endurance in which targets instead sustain C-Rank spiritual damage.

Description: This is simply a way of cutting and a basic form in Luffys style, the premise is too not deal massive cuts but instead small precise cuts too areas which will bleed the target out slowly but surely. With this form Luffy causes bleeding damage with each strike causing a strike too deal D-Rank bleed damage. Strikes with this form cause one rank less damage.

| The blow landed, but it did not possess piercing capabilities. The result was that the blade simply bounced off of Viper's skin while the physical impact replenished a small amount of his stamina. The shock faded as the other backed away and Viper let out a small hiss of annoyance. He raised his foot and slammed it down, the motion sending powerful vibrations through the ground that shattered it in a 20ft Radius around him. These vibrations made the terrain treacherous, with the other male requiring a C-Rank Balancing technique in order to keep from losing his footing. The snake didn't stay on the ground for long, however. He rolled from the ball of his heel to the tips of his toes before pushing off, using his legs muscles to propel him upwards 7ft, placing him in the air above his opponent. As he performed the jump, jagged rocks that had formed from the ground cracking rose up behind him. There were two of them, each the size of a Humanoid creature. He kicked in Luffy's direction, sending the rocks rocketing towards him at B-Rank Speeds, due to the usage of his Pressure increasing their weight and the strength with which they fell. - Spoiler:

Description: Faunus are known for being able to slug it out with the best of them, but it isn't simply their physical dominance which allows them to do so but rather their bodies physiology. Faunus when struck by physical attacks do not take damage, so long as they lack piercing rather the physical strike is actually converted into energy, energy which replenishes their own body. In this case the Faunus is capable of receiving D-rank physical attacks and converting any would be damage into stamina (+1).

Description: The user will send vibrations through the ground, using it as a sonar to learn the location of targets, mainly used for tracing. The vibrations can also be used to levitate objects and induce seismic activity with additional tricks. This allows it to serve primarily as a sensory technique, due to being able to locate those hiding underground despite the fact that it doesn't track movement. The speed the sonar flows through the ground is based on the speed the user taps the ground at while the skill of the user increases the radius this technique can detect things underground.

Description: This trick is based upon the Shake principle of the Gaia Road. The user strengthens the vibrations that they send into the ground, causing the ground beneath their feet to crack and shatter. This causes the ground within the range of their Shake to become unstable, making those who do not posses the ability to move upon such ground or those lacking a balance technique C-Rank or above loose their footing. This also acts as a great counter against underground movement techniques, as it causes the ground beneath the user to become unstable as well. This causes the ground to become much more hazardous to move upon or through. The depth at which the ground becomes unstable is based on the user's rank and the range of the effect is based on the user's Shake range.

Description: The Kukinorite Clan now have a unique method of close combat fighting, as the originator Jazz D. Kukinorite trained the use of her body to incorporate balance exercises along with various types of kicks. The reason this combat is fighting is that it makes no use of their arms for anything other than positioning the legs are both the Kukinorite's attacking and defensive force, with their body being used for momentum while her arms are used to either steady her balance to execute punishing kicks and front kicks or to rapidly gather momentum for brutal spin kicks. Wáṣerotapa contains a mixture of kicking types ranging from the basic four (Roundhouse, Front, Side & Back), while including advanced kicking types (Axe, Butterfly, Calf, Crescent, Hook, Heel, Vertical) and those which most consider risky in life or death matches (Flying, Multiple, Scissor, Spinning, Drop). Upon this styles introduction into the Kukinorite Clan it has incorporated stomps, sweeps, knees, cartwheels, flips and dives into to increase its versatility and the momentum an individual is capable of generating to exert more force to their opponent. In addition to the balance exercises the Kukinorite is forced to constantly do flexibility exercises to ensure their ability to stretch and contort their body more freely to avoid counter attacks as well as execute kicks which would throw one not used to constantly hampering their balance by throwing out kicks. When utilizing this fighting style along side Chakra Skates the Kukinorite is capable of preforming more advanced aerial kicks by riding along air currents to sustain their momentum and "step" on air to rapidly alter the trajectory and momentum built up in preparation for a kick.

Description: Drawing from the principles of the Wáṣerotapa fighting style this is one of the most basic types of footwork learnable in which the user shifts their foot rolling off the ball of their heel onto the tips of their toes before using that momentum to essentially bounce of a solid surface. The object of this is to propel one's body using the least amount of momentum and force possible relying solely on the muscles in one's calf and foot to launch one upward. Through practice the user is able to use this as a basis for some of the more advanced moves but primarily it is used to extend the user's jumping ability without the use of strength tiers. This is due to the way the user rises upward and when falling down due to gravity downward kicks are given more force depending on how high the user was prior to dropping down.

Name: Gaia Trick: The Mother's Assault

Description: This trick uses the Gaia Road's Shake principle's little used ability, levitation, in full. The user begins by raising their leg and stomping upon the ground. This stomp sends powerful vibrations through the earth that summons forth large boulders from beneath the surface at speeds equal to the user's rank. The user then kicks out with the same foot that they stomped with, sending these boulders forward to crash into their target at C-Rank speeds. If the target happens to be below the user, they can also apply their Pressure in order to increase the weight of the boulders. This coupled with gravity, the boulder's speed and strength will be increased by 1-Rank.

| Luffys intended attack would not work so he would have had too back up, he would pull out his bow and increase his strength this would be the last time cause with Viper stunned he would land and aim two arrows at him before firing and misfiring on purpose the arrows with one being in the shadow of the other moving at C++ speeds would bounce off the wall and back toward viper from behind too hit him in both but cheeks at the same time. Luffy would follow up the second attack with a arrow aimed straight at the vipers pelvis area it likewise moved at C++ speeds but would not bounce. - Spoiler:

Description: Sniping 101 is not giving away ones location via shot, Luffy formulated this technique too work around such things. This form of shot allows luffy too bounce the arrow off one object and at the intended target. Likewise this has a few effects depending on the situation. The first being after the bounce the speed of the arrow is decreased by ++. Likewise if the shot was commenced while in a Archery Perch than the initial shot requires normal requirements too track however the bounce shot requires one rank above reaction in order too track visually.

| The stun had faded but the viper seemed to be following the arrows with his eyes. He didn't get a chance to do anything as two kunai shot forth with A-Rank strength, cutting through the arrows with ease. The proctor landed in between the two and stopped the Faunus before he could launch an attack, a head band being tossed towards him "You both fought with vigor that I wouldn't expect from those of your level." She turned to Luffy and tossed a head band to him as well, obviously not being fooled by any stealth he may have active "Congratulations Luffy and Viper, you are now Genin of Hakagakure. Wear the title proudly." Viper looked somewhat happy with himself as he wrapped the head band around his thigh. He then turned and left without a single word. The proctor left through the door she had entered with Luffy before and left it open for the male to leave as well. | |

| Luffy would catch the head band and place it on it was a good bout and he doubted if he could have pulled out any tricks that would have worked on that viper anymore but that didn't matter he would walk off now a genin of Hakagakure and now all he had too do was make it through the life of a ninja their was no turning back now and the thought caused Luffy too sweat a bit he needed too start training harder cause as of late he has not even been able too hide from one target effectively making it through off shear luck, he had too read up on all the types of sensorys besides the five senses and work too combat the ones he could along with that he needed more of a offense he figured he could use senbon but too incoporate them into the bow they would have too be giant and well that would work out just fine. Luffy would exit the area deep in though with his hand on the hilt of his blade.
