After getting the curse mark of the werewolf, Baek really didn't know what to do. There was alot of things that he had to fulfill, even if he didn't even know it yet. But maybe the main problem was that nobody was really expecting anything of him to begin with. "Nothing to lose......but...something to gain...right? This should mean something after all, right?" Maybe he was trying to convince himself because of the little bit of trouble he was having. Though, he still had the responsibility of living in his own hands. Maybe i should try that idea i had earlier? "Baek did have an idea for taijutsu that was unorthodox, but he wanted to make the most of it.

Klaus had just survived an intense battle with one of the covens, it was unfortunate but his cousin Katrina had perished in the fight and now his pack was devoid of an Alpha Werewolf opening it up to more weakness. He wouldn't let the Lockwood pack die out, his only comfort was that Ivanna had warned him ahead of time, their relationship was still a secret as it would most likely give the two of them much more enemies than they currently had on both sides of the perpetual Werewolf Vampire conflict but still. She was annoying, caustic and yet he fell for her and vice versa it was a pity that she was barren due to being a Vampire Queen but they had recently been discussing how they could potentially get around it. Still he needed a new Alpha Werewolf, without access to a steady supply of werebeasts his pack would be overrun and the others were too set in their ways to adapt to Katrina's venom he needed a freshly converted Werewolf or a newborn.

He was currently running in his transformed state a pouch containing a syringe with the venom he had managed to extract from Katrina's dying body safely wrapped in cloth when his nose would pick up a specific scent. He would divert from his path towards it, an unclaimed werewolf he hadn't been marked by any of the packs and he would need to get to him first before he was either claimed or killed by a vampire. Carmen was watching over him, for it was only the luck of the gods which would allow him to stumble upon the very thing he needed after escaping from an enemy ambush.

Baek seemed to be doing some repeated crouching, which might seem weird to others. Maybe he was practicing something? Earlier on, Baek did decide to focus on taijutsu and think of his own style."With nobody to teach me, i guess I'll just teach myself?" Maybe it sounded a little too basic, but Baek's new sense caught up on something that he has not yet familiarized himself with, but it had to be some sort of wolf. "Oh...this might be bad." This was completely terrible in fact, Baek was stuck in some sort of way. He was green, very green, and had no kind of way to escape or tank any sort of hits if he was forced into battle. With that being said, Baek sighed in dismay, maybe the first thing he should of learned was how to run away. His journey was a young wolf was beginning alot faster than he thought, maybe he would even be spared? Who knows...

Klaus would leap before transforming back into his humanoid form his jeans torn and his body now devoid of wounds thanks to his natural regeneration ability having kicked in during the run. While it was possible to kill a member of their sub-species it was very difficult to do it over a long period of time due to that specific trait even those bastard bloodsuckers didn't have regeneration capabilities on par with their own. You there, pup. Come here, your freshly turned are you not? Having no pack isn't safe for a werewolf in Pandora, but here me out and I can fix that for you. But first, tell me are you an apprentice and do you have a mentor? Klaus asked, in a clear concise way, he had lost his usual stash of cigars during the battle so he was still on edge without the chemical to ease his brain back into it's relaxed state. He felt naked without a cigar maybe if the captain were around he'd be able to bum one off of him until he could buy more from those overprice Epsilon weaklings.

"Pup? I am 16 you know?" Baek would say as he walked over to the an. However, this mysterious werewolf did have a point. Baek was freshly turned and it was like he didn't know the rules of the world when it comes to living in pandora. " It's not like this kind of life comes with a rule book. But, yes, i am an apprentice knight for pandora currently. And no, no mentor, no family, no friends, nothing. But isn't that's how it is nowadays, you first start off with nothing before you can have something of your own?" Even though it happened only a while ago, it still hurt to think of his little traveling group got wiped out How did he end up in the city of the dead, with some dog like curse mark and surrounded by psychopaths that are a little more on the crazy side? That is a story for another time. "So you said you could fix my problem? What's the catch? I didnt quite catch your name by the way..."

"Your mortal age has no meaning ever since you were turned, but your newly turned I can tell, thus your a pup, if you were an adult I'd call you an Omega since you don't have a pack. The name is Klaus, Klaus Lockwood of the TLAH Order Klaus replied noting the teenager was wary and rightfully so, at least he acknowledged the fact that he wasn't in the know and didn't try to be stubborn about it. "The catch is you'll be apart of a pack and instead of being preyed on by any run of the mill vampire you'll be targeted by specific covens like the ones ny pack is currently at war with. The benefit besides the backing of fellow werewolves and lycans such as myself is an upgrade to your Curse Mark. Your lucky, I'm in need of a replacement Alpha Werewolf and your freshly turned and thus won't die from the transition. So what do you say kid? Will you take up my offer?" he said offering a hand for a shake to settle it. He was hoping the kid agreed as it would be far more easier if he was willing instead of Klaus having to dominate him into submission.

Klaus Lockwood? The TLAH order? I never heard of such an order like that.... what is it about?" The elast that he could do was get some information out of the man. "My name is Baek Shadal by the way, its only appropirate that i introduce myself since you did so when i asked...so...." Well, it didnt hurt to be polite to people. Besides, Baek wasn't the one to run his mouth needlessly or anything of the sort. Though, Baek would blink his eyes twice. "So by being a werewolf, i already signed on to a war with the vampires? h are they hunting werewolves? Whats going on? I thought being apart of pandora meant that we all had to coexist somewhat? "Was there no peace? Why not?"....."

Baek listened to Klaus, walking over to him a little closer. "I don't understand this war or anything about whats going on. All i understand is that you need my help, and you're asking me, instead of trying to force me to do things like other individuals i managed to run across so....." Baek was hesitant at first, but shook his hand. " I'm not too sure if i'll be your ideal alpha, or what you expect from me after... but ill help you Klaus...

Pup, don't you know? Pandora is always at war. The Land of Ash is the only safe zone because that's where the apprentice knights are, but once you pick a mark your thrust into the politics between the various sub-races. Werewolves & Vampires, the Seasonal Courts of the Fae, Demons & Magicians, Femmes and Undead. It's a constant struggle for survival within Pandora only the strong make it to the top the weak are killed, eaten or turned into breeding stock. Klaus said unwrapping the syringe and putting on the pants that he had wrapped it in before holding it out towards Baek. "In here is venom from my cousin Katrina, she was the Alpha Werewolf of my pack but she was killed a couple of hours ago by a bunch of blood suckers who ambushed us on the border of Torment. The Pack was...massacred, but we killed two times as much as they did us wiped out the entire Sithis Coven, let it not be said that the Lockwood Pack aren't the fiercest fucking pack of wolves in Pandora. Either way, when I inject you with this, it'll hurt but your body will change you'll become far stronger than the newborn pup that you are now. From Omega, you'll be an Alpha marked as part of the Lockwood Pack just like I am." he said and if Baek didn't change his mind or try to dodge he would stab the syringe into his neck and press down. The pale almost transparently white fluid would be emptied into his bloodstream which would cause Baek to convulse as ripples and tremors went through his body as his very cells would end up altered by the potent werewolf venom. Klaus would just wait calmly until it was done watching to make sure everything went fine, still he was a newborn so the venom should take, if he wasn't then it would probably end up killing him as it wasn't fresh from the fangs of an Alpha Werewolf.

Baek wasn't too educated in pandora law, he only managed to arrive here himself. So hearing all of this about the power struggle between the races was new to him. Maybe it was expected, people were still greedy in the end and they wanted power and control. Perhaps baek didn't really understand what it meant to become apart of pandora in the end, but he would learn soon enough. Hearing about the man's cousin, Baek would frown. Even in pandora, people can still experience the pain of loss. Forever was only an illusion,m even for the immortal. "i'm sorry for your loss..." Baek would say to him. It was the proper thing to say, the right thing to say.

He felt bad, and thought it would be ok to lend a hand. Before he knew it, Baek was injected and elt his body change. "Guahh...huff puff...." From one change to another, and now to an alpha. "...." Baek was breathing heavily and sweating.... " Did... is...is it working?"

Klaus would see that the boy survived the transformation causing him to smirk, he had the time to put on his pants, instead of the nakedness he was rolling with earlier. Normally he didn't have to worry about tearing it, but his full wolf transformation was quite uncomfortable wearing his human clothes so he typically tore them to shreds out of reflex. "You survived good, you will need to know about your new skills. You will find the connection you have to the moon strengthened. Alpha's have more diverse larger stronger transformations based on the moon's cycle. At full moon you are at your strongest, a hulking two legged alpha werewolf form. Furthermore once you obtain the system destruction curse mark and shed your chakra the Lupine Curse will kick in changing your blood from red to the purest of white. With that you will become immune to being drained of your blood by a vampire, as your very blood is toxic to them which you can mix into a venom which only an Alpha Werewolf can produce. Katrina was skilled at it, perhaps the most skilled Alpha Werewolf and that was why we were attacked as she could infect animals and creatures and turn them into were-beasts which she could command. Our pack was always small, now even more so after the massacre but we made up for it by having were-beast allies." Klaus said holding out his arm so that Baek could pull himself up and steady him as he knew the change was very weakening.

"You are now pack, as such I'll look out for you and help you hone your new abilities. In truth I'm a Beta, the Beta of the Lookwood Pack, Katirina was our Alpha and leader, and you will in time be her replacement so you have big shoes to fill. Till then I'll make sure you live long enough to grow into your potential. You mentioned you didn't have a mentor correct? I'm not much for teaching but I can share some of my acquired skills. My Order, TLAH specializes in stealth, in particular I've made a name for myself by killing those well versed in silent killing. If you wish to learn that I can give you lessons, but first how do you feel about smoking?"

It was a lot to take in, but the change probably didn't happen fully due to the fact that Baek still had his chakra system in place. "I would have to go back to the cursed seal specialist that gave me my mark in order for her to finish placing it for me. It doesn't seem like something I can simply do on my own, so I would have to go back eventually. " Baek continued to listen to the instructions that was given him, nodding his head once he acknowledged what was being said to him. "Toxic venom...huh..." Baek would think as he took Klaus's hand and helped himself up.

Alright, that means I probably have a lot more work to do if it means bringing our pack back to full strength.. Well..my newly acquired pack. "Baek was skeptical, but he was still somewhat ok with this. "I never smoked before, I would be lying if I said I was straight edge, since I never tried it myself. However, I am willing to learn. I have to be strong, if I'm going to be half the wolf katrina was...the woman whose running through my veins right now." A very strange thing to say In fact, hows is it feel for someone you never met to already be inside of you?

Klaus would nod, before cracking his back with a roll of his shoulders and walking forward motioning for Baek to follow him. "Yes that's a good mindset, right now I'd offer to teach you my style but after the attack I lost my stash of cigars. So we will have to head one of our pack's safe houses." he said while expecting Baek to follow him, he figured he would explain things along the way. "There is a specific way our pack moves, it's all about moving on the balls of your feet to reduce the sound your feet make when they hit the floor. Then rolling with it to push of your tiptoes, we call it silent movement. The more experienced you get at doing it, the faster speeds you can move while still being silent. We will have to hold off on teaching you Silent Slaughter until I get my cigars and you learn silent killing." Klaus said demonstrating his silent movement while picking up the pace.

A safe house, i see. Well, hopefully, i can pick up on this alot quicker so i'll be able to be alot more help to you. " Baek would say as he followed the man. "Though, how do cigars feel anyway? I mean, make you feel? " Baek tied to imagine the cigar's being alot bigger than he thought as he followed Klaus in the same manner that he was. Actually, it was kind of effortlessly, as if there was some sort of remnant of talent. Nothing to brag about though, Baek was always the studious kind that would watch and study the movements of a person. "Silent killing, is that chakra based with the smoke screen? I think only people with water release have that, but i have wind...and... im a physical specialist for right now so i cant even..." Then, it would hit him. "Oh, i get it, the cigars are probably some sort of expensive bunch that can be used as materia, right" Though,as Baek continued to follow,he would say something else. "You know, when you're alone for a while, the most you can do with your time is read. I read about materia before, substitutes for jutsu or skills...

How they make you feel little Alpha, depends on the type of cigar and what your smoking specifically. Us with lycanthrophy we heal from damage, so the lung damage one gets from skoing cigars is offset by our regeneration. For instance my lungs despite smoking like a chimney are perfectly healthy. I use that to take increased breaths expanding my lung capacity through practice and exhale massive amounts of smoke. Within an isolated area the smoke fills the room allowing me to capitalize on their lack of vision. Furthermore due to my regenerative factor I can smoke very unhealthy blends of cigars and thus leave my opponents reeling from the smoke's effects while I am perfectly fine and able to kill just as easily if not more than normal due to their state. Klaus said picking up the pace once he saw that Baek got it, now moving at C-rank speeds yet still being as silent as before.

"My smoking style is Kinjutsu though, so you won't be able to learn it that easily even if you did get into it. So we'll focus on this for now, I can only pass it on to those with the werewolf gene anyways, anyone else and they won't be able to survive long enough to make the best use of it. That is unless they were a blood sucker, but I'd never teach one my style."

"Ahh, that makes a bit of sense. Hopefully i could pick it up. " Baek would say as he started to try and keep up with Klaus, even though he was running quite fast for Baek's taste. This is kind of how it was now. He was the alpha, and he already had the biggest shoes he ever seen that he had to fill. Well, at leats life wouldn't be boring as of ye. Even so, he managed to copy the much more smoother way of the silent movements that Klaus was doing. Maybe he was on a roll, maybe he was lucky. "How close are we? Is there anyone left besides us two?

We are almost there, and yes we now have 13 of us, including you remaining. We lost 7 of our pack today and 30 werebeasts that had been with us for quite sometime. But there were about 90 or so of them so we came out the victors in the battle. Klaus said, looking back and smirking as even though Baek was still freshly turned he seemed to take his lessons like a fish in water, a natural at prowling silently through the wilds. It was a good fit as Katrina was always noisy which made travelling as a group extra work considering she had to be carried around lest she alerted everyone within a mile radius of her movement. How he missed her, even her clumsiness the wound in his heart still ached but he would cherish her memory and live on to make sure that their pack grew strong. "Tell me little Alpha, do you have any dreams? Any goals you wish to reach any hobbies like what do you like to do. Whether hunt, fight, track or scout out locations?"

13 huh? How are they like? I'm not too sure how kindly people take it by making another alpha off the fly, was there anyone next in line to be the alpha of your pack befoe you ran into me? I'm just...hypothetically guessing the kind of...friction i can hope to avoid....if i can."Treading lightly was the word, Baek wasn't too sure how to handle a power struggle from within the Klah order itself. Were they ok with Klaus making decisions like this? Did someone else have other plans?" Oh me? Well, when i came to pandora, i came and... joined..because..i had nothing to lose... any family i known is gone. Maybe the biggest question is to... find meaning in a long lasting life. If i had the time to ponder this... hat could i achieve or do? After hearing what ou told me arlier, i think one way to start is to end this war and ....hopefully.. bring a peaceful standing of the wolves towards the other tribes as well. Wishful thinking, but i working on it. "Baek would then think. "I like to put my thoughts into action. It seems like an odd thing to say, but making up things as i go along seems to be a hobby. If it involves a style, its fighting.. if it involves studying..or...a new way to fish... constantly changing..always involving..alway improving...

They won't mind as long as you are either compentant or seen to be trying your best to fill your new roles. Ask them for assistance interact with them, once you are part of the pack you are pack no questions asked. I can't tell you as you will have to find out on your own think of it as an initiation learning about your pack members. Klaus said this time not bothering to look back and would instead listen to Baek speak memorizing it and nodding along. "Hm ambitious dream but unlikely to happen, while pack is pack the others are each with their own agenda and some just want to run wild killing anything they come across and truly become children of the moon. Our pack blends the two our civility with our savagery. Some packs reject their new found power and loathe transforming for all of them to co-exist it wouldn't be peace it would be only under an iron rule. So while you remain weak your dream is out of your reach but when you become strong perhaps strong enough to become a Minor God of Pandora then you can thank about something like that." he would keep moving they would be there shortly especially since they were making great time moving like this, Kalus would see if Baek could adjust once more and up his speed a third time.

I guess thats pretty much true, i have a long way to go then. "Baek would say as he continued to walk at the same rate as the other guy was. Though, it was a little bit harder this time around. " ahh, its like the more advanced version then, i think i'll take me a while. But in the meantime..." Baek would say as he was apparently thinking outloud for these next few parts. "You seem strong, whats to stop you from becoming a minor god? First off, what is a minor god to begin with? People can actually become gods? Thats pretty nutz to think that someone can become that strong. " This talk of gods was something else. "Also, what is your ambition? I mean, do you have anything other than it being related to the pack? Just curious.." .

I like where I'm at and being in the TLAH order I could never unseat the boss so why even bother. Klaus said quickly replying to Baek's question it was quite simple, Xan Ibwa was much too powerful for him to ascend to Bloody Ruler and he was happy with his place in the TLAH order. He was thinking of either becoming a templar, probably at Gold or Platinum if he was lucky enough to get that strong. He knew his niche, he was an assassin and while he kept his skills in tip top shape that was all he was, not the type to fight outside of the shadows. "It is a title, however they are immortals so it is quite possible that ascending to one of the heads of the Five Suns you will be gifted a portion of the Goddess Queens divinity. Or at least that's what it's rumored to lead to."[/color]

The boss?  Who is this boss? is that a person i have to meet or a wolf or something?" Baek wouls say in a questionable tone. He didn't know who that is, but he wanted to know. After all, knowledge is power in a way. "Something  something goddess...well... i feel like it was just yesterday that i was turned, so i'll eventually get the hang of it and become one of the gods eventually, that's the goal then. " Baek would say as he finally got used to the pace that Klaus was walking and got even slower. " Oh, managed to pick it up.....

INa the boss of the Knight Order I belong to, TLAH. Or in simple terms the Stealth, infiltration and assassination division of the Pandora Empire's military. Klaus said noticing that they were now within sight of the cave that his pack was now calling home for the time being. "We are here, look sharp. They'll know your pack just from your smell but it doesn't mean they won't probably mess with you just because your new. But if you show your worth it they'll respect you for you, not because your the new Alpha." he said before entering the cave and disappearing from view due to the cave not being lit in the slightest. It wasn't like werewolves had to worry about not being able to see in the dark, besides light was over-rated if it wasn't moonlight they had their body heat and fur to keep them warm if need be.
