404 error

So it seems the site was hit with a 404 error recently, i think this is a forum motion side of things plus i dont even know if anyone can see this yet.... lol well anyways, my phone is able to bypass the 404 error but my pc not so much so lemme know how you are seeing the site

404 is just a cannot find page error. What ever web client you are using could be out of date, or if could be a problem with just your isp connecting with the web server. I haven't had any problems lately.

Well, that's the thing I think it is a connection issue between the forum motion servers and certain web browsers cause IE works on my computer where as GC doesn't, but this problem isn't just our forums. There are a lot more forums that are having this issue as well, all today id like to note, so that's why I put that up just in case. lol

chrome just put out an update and google are a bunch of dicks that essentially force you to update, which is actually a good update in this case. At any rate forumotion hasn't gone down in the past 2 weeks now and any 404 error is more than likely specific to you, or a specific page you are trying to visit and not the site as a whole.

I cant access any page on the forum with google chrome lol XD I'll keep looking into this. still rather odd that not just myself is having this issue with forum motion forums, it might just be my google chrome that is giving me this issue, cause like I said I'm on the site now with not just my phone but IE on my computer as well.

If honestly multiple people are getting the same error than its more than likely an isp problem rather than yours, but I'm using chrome and everything is working fine for me. Don't know really why ie would work though if it was a isp problem. Try making sure chrome is up to date and clear your temporary internet file and see if that fixes chromes problem.

Sadly Chrome is up to date, and ..... I still need to find the temp internet files..... windows 10 I haven't really navigated it too much yet XD so I'm still looking for where it is. And yeah it wouldn't make sense as to why IE would work if Chrome wont, if it was an isp problem. ill keep digging around to see what I can do to fix it, I did run across a DNS flush trick that is "said" to fix the issue, think it might work?

so the DNS flush worked, im on chrome now.

So for anyone looking via a different means and possibly having the same issue follow either of these depending on what is giving you the issue

Yeah never mind, it that is only a temp fix after about 3 hours I got the 404 error again on Google Chrome, lol well id now say this is a Forumotion issue and not something that should normally be happening.

My Chrome is fine.

well its fixed now, it was a forumotion issue lol weird XD
