Epsilion - The Start of a new life.

Yvette had gathered the rest of her stuff from her dorm, she had left notes on her roommates beds to inform them of her intentions before she headed for the exam and now she was calmly waiting in the designated area where the Shogun had said she needed to be so she could collect her money. She didn't know if any of them were going to come see her off or even join her, but she was hoping at least one did, despite the fact she wasn't social Zelana had grown on her, Regal was quiet which she could agree with and Neo..well no she didn't really like Neo, but she had respect for him because he managed to actually hit her.

..I wonder what will happen. Yvette said thinking out loud her voice muffled under her scarf and her eyes blank and emotionless.

Regal actually did not return to the room to see Yvette's note, rather he was in a "conversation" with the Shogun about his future plans. They mainly consisted of his departure from the shinobi life, not because of lack of power rather because he couldn't be cooped up in a village for to long and he wanted to see the world. His job choice probably wasn't the best one for exploration but he couldn't think of anything better for him to do.

The place Yvette was currently in, was the place Regal was, returning from the bathroom with his Xel in hand, as he was ready to go on his journey, except for the fact that he didn't pack yet. Spotting Yvette, he would walk up to her and wave trying to catch her attention.

Neo arrived at the dorm, picking up the single bag with his belongings in it, throwing one of the straps over his shoulder as he walked towards the door, stopping as he saw a strange note. After reading it Neo shock his head, muttering a single curse to himself before walking out of the room for the last time, making his way to where Yvette was. He wasn't going to, but he may as well see her off, judging by the fact that she wrote it, it seems like that's what she wanted. She most likely wouldn't even recognize him while in his combat uniform, but then again, how could anyone.

Neo walked towards her from the opposite side as Regal, Nodding to him despite the fact that he couldn't tell who it was. Neo would approach, stopping for a short moment beside her to speak softly, "Congratulations Lady, I am here to see you off as you secretly desire. After you leave, I too will take off. Good luck cutie." And with that, he started up walking again, taking a seat a small distance away in hopes to avoid seeing the Shogun again, after all, Neo did verbally spit in his face, kinda.

Zelana almost cried when she saw the note, it meant she finally got through to her friend and was now actually seen as a friend in her eyes as well, she wasn't stupid...well she wasn't that stupid she could see when someone didn't want to be around her but still she tried and now it worked. She was happy and it actually influenced her decision to drop out a bit, and once she was done she searched for her and would happily skip over to Re-kun and Yve-chan before frowning as it would seem her rival for love had made strides ahead of her in obtaining Neo-sama's attentions.. Hey guys. she said with a happy smile and would pout as Neo-sama decided to walk away...

...You guys came? Thanks..I know I haven't been...the nicest of people I just have issues when it comes to being a shinobi. But seeing as you guys are here and you don't have a forehead protector so you aren't shinobi. Yvette said having blushed slightly at Neo's comment before dismissing it because he was the bastard who hit her, well yeah she had to dislike him a lot. She would pause before looking at them. So um...can we start over? she said holding out her hand for Regal to shake she mainly wanted to do this so she could establish connection to them so that if need be she could tune into their thoughts and communicate with them telepathically the main thing was to show a gesture of good faith to Regal, as she knew Zelana would probably just glomp her in a matter of moments and she couldn't predict what Neo would do or say if he had heard what she said.

Neo smirked to himself, though it was unseen under his mask. "I'm willing to agree to starting over." Neo said, quite clearly from his seat. Of course he heard what they said, he wasn't too far away, only a few meters. "But are you? After all, it is you who has a distaste towards me." Neo looked at her outstretched hand, his mind going through all their past experiences and confrontations, in particular, their first meeting. There were no hand gestures then, what has changed? "I will let you know though, Lady...I dislike being lied to and used." Of course, Neo was skeptical, and couldn't even begin the imagine what the handshake represented, only that it was unnatural.

Regal would scratch his head, not completely sure of what Yvette was talking about nor why everybody happened to be gathered here. Everything should soon be explained soon, as such it was about apparently none of them becoming shinobi. He would have to admit he didn't see what happened next coming, a start over, seems Yvette wasn't as cold as she was implying. Looking at her hand, he would outreach his and grab it, to shake her hand. He didn't really think much of it, he didn't really have that bad of a "relationship" with Yvette but he shouldn't deny her, her rights to a new start.

Really awesome, see I knew you'd come around Yve-chan! Zelana said before moving over and giving Yvette a kiss on the cheek, well she deserved it she was being nice and she deserved a reward. She would pull back before smiling happily, and would raise both of her hands when Neo-sama mentioned Yvette didn't want to start over. Ne ne, you can't be so untrusting, we should all like, get along and stuff. Can't we all get along? New start new awesome adventures, I want to be a super cool scien..something and work with animals, it's not fair that there aren't any medics for them.

Yvette smiled faintly before blushing which, thankfully was hidden under her scarf and would glare at Zelana a bit before her facial features softened at Neo's comment. I don't like shinobi and I was leaving, I didn't feel it was necessary to make friends with people that would grow up to kill for the sake of a village rather than their own desires or necessity. Your not a shinobi anymore that changes everything, but if I don't want to shake on it..then I suppose that fine to. she said before turning to Regal.

If you think it, I can hear you so we can communicate telepathically if you like, I noticed you were mute, I figured having someone to talk to without having to write it down all the time would be a boon. Don't worry I'm not tuned in all the time, if you want to talk just say my name repeatedly I'll notice eventually. Yvette said telepathically to Regal.

Neo looked at Zela before back at Yvette. They seem to have both misunderstood. "I wasn't refusing a fresh start. I was refusing the handshake. I don't like...getting close to people." He sighed, looking away, it was still too early to tell them about his situation, maybe one day, but not now, for now, all they needed was an understanding. Just like you had yours, I have my own reasons distancing myself from others, however, my reasons are still applicable to each of you." Neo took his gloved hand out of his pocket, placing it over his hidden eye, just as they have seen him do many times. The thought to killing them once again popping into his mind.

The shogun walked into the room and looked down at the four people. "Four students dropping out to become civilians? What a surprise. Well then, Lady Ocelot, here is a small fee to begin your preparations. I expect you to write reports of your endevours and send word of your movements so I may make preperations beforehand. I wish you luck," he said handing her a pouch of Xel before heading off.

Zelana would bow quickly upon seeing the Shogun-sama, he was super scary and she heard all the rumors about him killing people for stupid reasons like they didn't bow low enough and she didn't want to die. She would remain like that until he left and would let out a breath of relief, she had seen him three times today, the first time during the exam, the second time when she went to collect her cash and now apparently Yvette knew him or something like that. That was...really odd and she was thankful it wasn't because of something else, either way she was slightly happy her beloved Neo-sama didn't want Yvette to touch him it was such a glorious day. Hmm so what are we gonna do now, set out or something heh I mean Yve-chan just got paid perhaps we should hang with her for a bit so she can buy us stuff wouldn't that be totally awesome Re-kun?

More than a bit surprised Regal was outright shocked at this new development. For one way or the other Yvette was capable of communicating through the mind, it was different than how his family communicated with him but still something notable. .....uh..yeah. Thank you. He was still getting over his shock and was only broken out of it when the Shogun decided to make his appearance. It was a good thing that Regal had already gotten his Xel or else this meeting might just be for him as well. Looking over at Zela, he knew she would bring him along one way or the other so he nodded his head and waited to see what everybody else would think.

It is my pleasure. Yvette said telepathically to Regal as she nodded at Neo understanding that he had his reasons not to touch her, she would bow when the Shogun arrived before looking up and catching the pouch of money before smiling. Thank you Shogun-sama. she said as he walked off before she tuned in on what Zelana was saying and would scoff before walking forward. I'm not buying you anything unless you agree to work for me, every Lady needs an entourage. So if you agree to come into my service I will sponsor you. she said before turning around and looking at the three other people around her.

No strings attached other than me asking you to follow me as I tour the world obtaining land, I can't be an effective Lady without owning some territory don't you think? Honestly I'm considering the Land of Souls for now, war torn, cheap however it's situated close to the land of Madness and Evil both of which are deadly lands, it would make taking it over be rather..lucrative in terms of tolls and taxes. she said with a smirk which was hidden under her scarf she hoped they would come with her, it would be much more difficult alone, not to mention by sponsoring the three of them she was off to a good start.

Neo sighed, watching the Shogun go as he finally stood and walked over to the other three. Making sure he was out of sight before speaking his mind. "I hate that man, I refuse to take his Xel." Neo said, rather softly as it wasn't important. Neo took off his hood and face mask, allowing himself to be seen, he was also wearing a plain black eye patch which matched his clothes. Neo looked at both Zela and Regal first, wondering what they would do as he listened to Yvette's plea. She was manipulative in a sense, however what she pitched wasn't a bad idea, a sponsor is always great, even if it is ultimately under the Shogun's reign.

"We get one thing clear first..." He said, turning himself to Yvette. "I won't work for you, I am not your employee, nor am i in your service. Don't speak as though I am your property. I shall work alongside you, that is all." Honestly, from Neo, that's the best you can hope to get, however, its all the same, so long as she doesn't act like his boss in front of him. Either way, Neo accepted her terms, but the real question is, what will he do?

Neo turned away, shoving his face mask in the bag over his should before throwing his hood back over his head. "However, i wish to travel alone for a short while. I'll eventually find myself in the merchant district within the Land of Greed. I'm suspecting you would be heading that way, so i'll meet up with you all there" Without a goodbye or even a gesture, Neo began to walk away, heading off in search of who knows what. It was too early to be travelling with them, he needed to gather more control first.

Okay....so that wasn't totally awkward, besides Neo-sama was just being cool and mysterious he didn't mean anything by it eh Yve-chan. So let's get going on our awesome adventure, I don't mind working and stuff, besides we are all awesome besties as long as you guys don't make me go against my belief system I'm ready for anything. Zelana said with a smile before she would attempt to grab both Yvette and Regal before dragging them towards the main exit it was time to go they had wasted too much time chit chatting, which was something they could do on the way.

Regal leaned more into what Neo was saying, the main part about not really being under somebodies control. However Regal was not as rude and could follow as long as their positions were established. ...I'm sorry but as Neo said I to do not want to be under others employment. He said giving a second before continuing on with his statement. As long as you let me do what I please though, I see no problem following you. Being told to do this and that wasn't really part of him so this establishment would make things a lot easier for him in the end.

Concerning Neo's further remarks about leaving, that wasn't to surprising to Regal, actually the most surprising thing that happened today was Yvette's "change of heart." While on the subject of not to surprising things, having Zela drag him to the exit, was one of those things. She was surprisingly strong to just be dragging people around as such, Regal wasn't resisting much but still he was being dragged.
