Appearance: the Hidden Blade was used for both stealth assassinations and regular combat. It was their most versatile weapon, with multiple upgrades and forms of use. There is one on the Right arm and the left with the left having a Hook blade.

It consisted of a retractable blade, usually in conjunction with a protective bracer. As such, the blade could be discreetly extended or retracted, making it a valuable tool for assassinations. It also has a metal plate on top of Both arm blade's bracers that allowed one to safely deflect enemy attacks with the blades.

The Hookblade on the left arm was a modification of the Hidden Blade that was adopted by the Clan. Unlike the other Hidden Blade advancements, it was attached to the user's secondary Hidden Blade, instead of the primary. Primarily, it could be used during navigation in conjunction with ziplines, as well as allowing one to perform the "hook-and-run" and "hook-and-throw" maneuvers over their enemies, and generally extend one's reach when climbing and leaping.
Special Ability: The gauntlets have extreme durability to Chakra mental and Non chakra attacks. First off they can deflect chakra based attacks equal to the users rank. They also bounce back the damage of non chakra based attacks lower than the users rank. Mental attacks equal to the users rank and below are sealed within the gauntlets able to be instantly learned by the user. These gauntlets require a steady energy to sustain there abilities every 15 post they drain chakra the rank of the user.

So first off, weapons have a set rank. The only weapons that rank up with the user are living weapons that only Yoroi can have.

Second off, I'll confirm that its still true but, I believe last time we talked Jonin were able to make B rank and lower weapons with no realy ability behind them. Naito/Civilians can make any ranked weapon with abilities.
