History: Sayuri was born in the spirit world. She is the daughter of Sayako Higashi, former second-in-command of the Elite. She trained everyday and night. Even though she is blind, she can get around like anyone else by using her senses and mastery of concentration to do anything. Later, she went traveling and met a gatekeeper who taught her everything she knows and with that Sayuri used what she was taught and combined it with what she knows to become a fierce fighter.

10 Years Later
Sayuri comes back from traveling to different places. Along her travels, she met old and new friends; she even has a new outfit her teacher gave her as a parting gift as she had nothing else to teach her. Although she is still getting used to her sword, her teacher actually told her someone that could help her so she goes there and learns everything from the person that would be helpful to her. When she came back home, she learns that her sensei has a family so Sayuri trains harder than ever to go beyond all of her sensei levels so that she'll prove that she'll be able to protect anyone.

This not only boosts the wielder's endurance to B-rank levels but gives them more clarity in battle allowing them to completely resist B-rank genjutsu and below.
Its Dual Ability courtesy of Savannah's rank up jutsu allows the blade to freeze chakra a unique phenomena in which opponents struck by the blade will permanently lose the ability to circulate chakra in the area cut unless healed by an A-rank or above medical ninjutsu.

As the main dome was being destroyed with here in it, there wasn't anything she could do so she prepared for the worse. As soon as the main dome was destroyed, she died for a second, but woke up at the Scarlet Devil mansion in Gensokyo, a world full of youkai, where she was laying in her master's bed. Meiling, her master, begged Remilia, the keeper of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, to keep her alive. And so, Remilia gives Sayuri her blood to keep her alive. She wondered how she's still alive today. Thanks to Sakuya's time manipulation, she was able to get Sayuri out of there before the cube destroyed the main dome. Her appearance has changed and she is still blind, but has developed sight when her eyes become red.
