| The Fortress itself was silent but the ground beneath was not. Every so often a gate would open and disgorge another helping of the Undead to the battle beneath. Some were borne aloft on the wings of skeletal Condors, others just accepted the fall, slamming into the dirt before rising on broken limbs or crawling along the ground hissing in an echo of agony that they could no longer hear. Fire and lightning and wind sputtered along the ground, ruining trees and scorching the undead where they stood. Here and there were worse creatures, massive golems made of sharp bone and rotting meat, robed figures that cast out knives in the hundreds or unleashed bolts of flashing corpselight. It was hard fought but it was not the focus... Several clearings had been opened up, eight to be exact, not quite equally apart from one another, ready to send teams up to the Fortress above to stop the constant onslaught, there had been barely a break for the past twelve hours, medics were on their last legs trying to keep casualties to a minimum and the longer it went on, the worse it got for the people on the ground. It was up to several groups of genin to fight against the remaining undead threat in the Fortress to save their comrades... This clearing was aimed towards a massive stained glass window that ostensibly lead into a Chapel, whatever foul deity or deity-like entity the Undead worshiped, it wasn't likely to be pleasant and was going to be harmful to normal people, although the riches that could be found should make up for it. - Spoiler:
If you are Landing at this Zone, each member of the team must post and someone must declare their method for reaching the Fortress. Once that is done, this topic is live and training after that point will not count towards this mission. So ensure that team training topics are completed before this happens. Thank you... And have fun!

| Kozzen would groan as he stepped towards the massive cannon that would be sending his team straight into the belly of the beast. It would appear that some unknown force had created a floating fortress, manned by the undead, which in Kozzen's mind was rather odd if you asked him personally. Although if what he read about his great grandfather was true, he fought beside those who had created such monstrosities in the past. Which just made the boy wonder if this was truely an unknown force, or if it was just the Pandoran empire coming back from the dead. So he would make it to the metallic capsule that was to send his team deep into the fortress. It was an experimental weapon created by a couple of clans to circumnavigate a small group into enemy territory fast, but was also capable of killing the group inside the capsules if the weapon failed in any way. That thought put Kozzen in a state of uneasiness, but there was little that could be done about it at the moment, so he would just sigh as he entered the capsule while waiting for the rest of his team to arrive. |

| With Gado arriving, he immediately put on his armor and used his soul orb in order to make him more aware of brain patterns. Afterward, while walking with his armor, Gado would wave at Kozzen, who was waiting for them. Surprisingly, they were down a team member, which meant that Jael was probably on another mission. Either way, Gado was hoping that he could bring something back for his team member, as well as properly watch Kozzen's back as they venture into this place. With his armor, Gado had S rank durability and A rank chakra resistance based off his psionic chakra. He felt that he would be ok for the most part, but it didn't mean he could be sloppy. "Kozzen, looks like we are going to have to pull off a two-man team for this. Want to link up? Or should we wait or something?" Used - Spoiler:

That intent is receptive from up to 40 feet, with the sensory also serving in place as B rank reaction tiers. However, with every telepathic link that Gado shares, the distance of the technique are increased by an additional 20 feet for each individual involved. Name: Psionic Calcite Infusion Classification: Ninjutsu/Soul Tech Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description: Even though Gado does not contain an immediate link to the darkar side of his Nova heritage, the bone genetic structure of dead bone pulse that was granted from his Kurogane side was enough to create a unique line that he had access to. Gado's bones are now infused with psionic energy, the release of his bones will now be conducted as painless due to the synapse block of its release from his body. These bones are now able to conduct psionic release techniques and can be used as a medium for their execution. In addition to that, the structured durability weekly training gained from the dead bone pulse will also affect the Psionic Calcite, matching it to the durability it has to defend against Mental-based damage as well, including the ability to cut away at mental based techniques.
Name: Dead Bone Pulse Classification: Nintaijutsu Rank: D-rank Class: Passive Range: Self
Description:This is an additional ability of the Kurogane clan which gives them the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure. By infusing their calcium with chakra, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed however the speed at which the injuries heal vary and as a result the user if not careful can bleed out from producing bones too carelessly. With Psionic Calcite Infusion intact, Gado can use Psionic chakra instead for the A rank chakra durability to be based off that and check neutrally instead. The chakra durability is also passed on to the user's dances for the duration of the Verbena dance. This technique can be ended at the user's discretion and adjusts to the user's transformations.

| A small woman, about five foot at most, with long purple hair wandered over and planted a massive metal shell in front of the two. "No time to wait for a third, you two need to head in and help out. We've got a few other teams already up and you guys are fucking late. So get in." She shouted at them, pulling open the doors of the shell revealing the three seats within. She waved for them to get in and then turned, readying the cannon nearby, a massive contraption with a gargantuan barrel. It flickered and pulsed with purple lightning and several portions started to thrum quietly with power and rotate. It would appear that everything was working... Or so they hoped. Were they going to get in the shell and get launched or see if they could wrangle time to get a third? | |

| Not wanting to waste any more time, Kozzen would enter the shell and get himself situated for the upcoming battle. "We have waited long enough at this point, we best get up there while there is still undead to take care of" He would say sitting down in his spot as the door tot he shell would close and seemingly activate in a way that he would hope would mean that they would make their destination as best they could with this experimental technology. "Let's just hope we can pull this off with just the two of us, I'm not certain if Banhi would be able to help us out that much. Though we never really know until the time comes." |

| "Have no choice but to agree with you this time. It's obvious that the mission itself is going to be pretty dangerous with just the both of us, but beggars can't be choosers. What this only means is that we need to be a lot more careful if we want to get back home in one piece."
With that being said, Gado and his armored form also went right inside of the contraption that was supposed to be used to travel up with his teammate.
"I ,wonder what's even up there? Hopefully the mission won't give us too much trouble.." | |
