The Beginning of New Lives [Taking on the Pits!]

Xian saw the wave heading towards him and cursed under his breath. He had only prepared for tangible enemies. Entities were thing all together. He had absolutely no tactics to fight one. He would simple side step the low moving waves at B-Rank speed, using his reaction to track them and the person that had sent them forth in case they had something planned. He removed his hand from his sword and laced his fingers behind his head. He looked from the Entity to Jazz before calling out to his partner "Hey, chickie. Sorry to inconvenience you, but could you take this one out too? I am woefully under prepared to face an Entity." He shrugged a little and moved backwards at A-rank speed, in case his opponent tried to launch an offensive.

The Kaironokuma grumbled as their arrows were reflected with ease by the sudden intrusion of a copy. With the arm raised, they continued to shoot arrows as quickly as they could, if only to distract as their other arm was hidden behind their back. They only revealed the purpose when the scythe was swinging in, spinning their hand-turned-drill at bullet speeds to reflect the blow itself.

The Entity on the other hand continued to follow after Xian, noticing how they were making no motion in defending themselves from the attacks besides running away. Their other hand came up and out, adding to how many blasts they were rippling from their body to chase Xian.

Kaironokuma:

It was a valiant effort however her doppelganger's opponent made a somewhat fatal error, her scythe wasn't merely just your average scythe but one which grew more dangerous over time, in particular in it's defense slicing capabilities. As a result after parrying more arrows, when the drill came in contact with the edge the Kaironokuma would find their arm being sliced off and Jazz's doppelganger would follow up by whipping the blunt portion of the scythe to trip her opponent. Meanwhile Jazz would look over to the entity chasing her ally with an deadpan as seeing him run from the intangible opponent made her realize that he probably had nothing he could use to combat it. She wouldn't interfere for the time being but instead would watch to observe the entity's combat style while her doppelganger attempted to end her opponents life with a downward swing of the scythe blade.

Xian was able to dodge the blows easily, not that it would've been hard in the first place. His eyes flickered to the Doppelganger and her opponent, noticing the other's mistake. That scythe was a very dangerous weapon to go up against, especially in drawn out battles. The drill-hand would do nothing to the weapon, actually it would probably wind up with the enemy being injured instead. He knew of the scythe's capabilities himself because he had used it once. In a past life. He turned his eyes back to the Entity and cursed. He dodged to the left of the beams at A-Rank speeds and then turned his head to his partner, speaking with a slight bit of annoyance in his voice "I can see that your work load is filled nearly to capacity, with doing absolutely nothing and all, but could you please lend a hand here? It would be greatly appreciated!"

The Kaironokuma had little time to react as their drill was just slicing through like it were paper, their arm completely cut off. The only sound they made after was the scream as their life was ended by the doppleganger.

"Bah! Useless," The living opponent mocked their deceased partner as they ground to a halt, taking on a defensive position looking down the two of them. "... not that I seem to be of any more use right now."
