PostSubject: Setting the foundation {Training}   7th August 2015, 10:05 pm

It was around 11pm and a lone figure stood at the entrance of the training area of Dipugakure after just strolling inside. Why was this person in the training area at this time of night? What could one possibly gain from training under the moonlight? This was the usual habit of young Takeshi. He had personally hated coming in the training area when it was crowded, in fact he hated coming around even if there was a possibility of someone being there. Why? Because he hated the looks of disgust the people from the village would constantly give him. That and training in the darkness reminded him of his home, Pandora. Oh how he had wished he could go back but due to a series of unfortunate events in regards to his family and other clansmen, he had found himself in Dipugakure. Why did he even choose be a part of the Allied Shinobi Nations in the first place? Was it because he was too scared to be a missing ninja and needed some shelter from the unknown? Did that make him smart or a coward? In reality he was weak. He had lacked the strength and will to defend himself anymore, or even live. He had found himself spiraling in depression ever since he had left Pandora and as a twelve year old it had serious implications on him as a person. He had lost the ability to smile, the need to laugh and not only that he found himself thinking that he would be better off by himself, I mean why do you need people? They’ll eventually leave or betray you, whatever benefits them. He was better off alone all he wanted to was to be left alone to the rebuilding of the Triqueta, well his faction of the Triqueta but unfortunately life didn’t pan out the way. He had a found out that he was now a part of a team, a three man cell to be exact, but he cared naught for any of them, the only reason he was even going through this…folly, was due to the rules of the Allied Shinobi Nations, but he would be keeping all contact with this people at a minimum, he wasn’t looking for friends or comrades, they were just teammates nothing more, nothing less. “Hmph.” Takeshi’s blue and red hues scanned the area of any life and would then walk over to the giant tree that was situated in the middle of area and sat under it and closed his eyes. His first act of gaining enough strength to build his clan was to raise his chakra pool. Unfortunately as an Entity he had near empty chakra pool but fortunately as an entity he was able to raise said chakra pool with mediation. Closing his eyes he would inhale deeply and then exhaled deeply and would repeat the process. Sooner or later he will have enough chakra to rival any soulless but for now he would have to go through mediations like these for the time being.

Takeshi had found himself back in the very same training ground he was at a couple weeks ago at ironically the same time as before as well. Coincidence? Probably not as this was the only time he could do what he needs to do without the prying eyes of the villagers and he could have a peace of mind while enjoying the fresh night air and be under the moonlight that reminded him so much of his home, so in all it was a win win situation. Taking a deep breath Takeshi would inhale the fresh air once before exhaling. He was in the mood for some meditating tonight after watching the preliminary rounds of the Chunin Exams. Though he had thought it would trivial at first, the exams were quite exciting and he appreciated how it tested not only the contestants’ physical strengths but their mental strengths as well. Would he make it to the next chunin exams? With the team he had it could be possible to make it to the exams but he highly doubted that they would gain promotion seeing that as a unit they suck, well the other two not him of course. In fact he doubted that they could handle a simple D rank mission without completely failing apart, what a bunch of stooges. Pushing the thought of his incompetent team in the deep corners of his mind, Takeshi would make his way to the tree he had visited last time and sat the floor resting his back on the trunk. Folding his legs he would place both his hands together and took another deep breath. The trainings he had been doing recently were of course ones to bring up his chakra reserves which was of course is a pain but hard work brings success… Or that’s what they say anyways. His first meditation had brought his reserves from darkar to samurai levels and now it was on to the next level. Inside he had felt like a glass of water that was only filled up 1/16 of the way. He had potential not only due to the fact that he was a Triqueta but due to the fact that he had dreams and those dreams fueled the fire he had within side and he felt as if he could conquer the world, well it wasn’t if he was looking to gain world domination but he believed he had the world in the palm of his hands. “So that’s it?” He muttered silently to himself as his eyes slowly crept open revealing the empty training ground before him. His meditation was complete and he had instantly felt the growth of his chakra reserves and right now he should be on par with Liara in terms of chakra reserves which wasn’t good enough but it was a start. Pushing himself off the tree trunk he would stand on his two feet and brushed the dirt off his clothing. “I’ll get there soon enough.” He said to himself before he exited the training ground.

Beckoning. And as Takeshi gazed of into the psychological expanse of thought, it became clearer and clearer to him what he must do- now that he had let himself sink through the deep ocean that allowed him to reach this plane within his mind, and become one with it, he must seize control, must manipulate his own mind- every synapse of it, into breaking down these walls. He marched steadily across this minds cape, attempting to gather as much of his mental energy as he could muster- feeling it channel through him- but here, what was invisible in the real world, became a visible, potent green aura that surrounded the young shinobi. The mental energy pulsated around him, changing through various shades of swirling green- what Takeshi guessed must be the true color of his own chakra. The power flowed around him, becoming a veritable storm of energy that surrounded the young man- nearly threatening to consume him with its violence. Takeshi stopped on his steady march towards one of his mental barriers and meditated- within his own meditation. He thought of the vibrant energies flowing all around him, and then, closing his eyes, he held out a single hand, and imagined the storm calming itself, and collecting on his hand as if pulled by a magnet. Gradually, but surely, the chaotic mental energy that he had summoned from within himself focused into the palm of his hand- but as Takeshi tried to maintain control over it in a tiny area, he realized that at his current level of meditation, such pinpoint focus was impossible. Instead, he created a mental image of a cage like sphere around his entire right hand, where he had focused the energy, and having that cage retain it all, holding the power in place. He stood there for perhaps several hours, perhaps only a few minutes, until he felt the energy stabilize, and calm itself from its attempts to break free of the cage that he had created around it. Opening his eyes, but maintaining his focus he gazed upon his right hand where the energies swirled about, finally under- but he knew should he lose his focus, they would break free, and he did not have the strength left to reign them in again. He took another step forward, marching towards his goal, until; finally, he reached one of his inner walls. He ran his empowered hand over it, feeling the essence of the wall, gauging its power- and was thrown back with sudden, incredible force, nearly losing control over his energies. He quickly refocused his mind, regaining his concentration, and after several minutes- or god, who knew how long it really was, had soothed the energies once again into a controlled state. He looked at the wall, aghast- clearly this one was beyond his capability to break at his current level of mental strength- but, was all of them? He walked back towards another wall, this time, more cautiously testing the potency of the barrier- again realizing that it was too strong for him to break. He paced around the entirety of the mental room, testing each wall individually, most of them proving too strong- until he reached the fourth wall. It vyed against his power, but he could tell that it did not have the incredible potency of the other three. Deciding that it was now or never, Takeshi placed his hand firmly, palm flat against the wall, and then opened a tiny gap in his energies cage, directly in the center of his palm. The swirling green light shot out through the opening, slamming into the barrier. The green flowed up and down the entire surface of it, illuminating the entire wall, in a bright green light- Which then dissipated. Takeshi gasped, and fell to his knees, and gazed up at the barrier- which remained unbroken. About to slam his fist into the barrier in frustration, he regained control over his calm, realizing that he was close to accidentally losing his meditative state. He breathed, inhaling and exhaling deeply several times, then scrutinized the wall once more. He probed into its energy's once again, seeing if there was any difference from before- and surely enough, there were breaches- small, subtle breaches, but breaches sure enough.

Takeshi’s eyes slowly crept open as his meditation was broken off due to him unable to keep up with his own chakra potential which was disappointing as he could’ve felt as if he was almost there. “Soon.” He muttered to himself as he threw himself on the bed and closed his eyes once more, but this time he was going to sleep.

The air was cold and the morning new as Takeshi left his home. Normally he would not awake this early but he had some special training he wished to tackle early on. Today was something new, something focusing on his chakra so he could finally reach his full potential. The first thing he wished to accomplish was much greater control over his chakra, allowing him to perform stronger and better techniques for one of his rank. A feat such as this would be an amazing asset in battle, allowing him to perform countless tactics that at the moment would be too difficult to perform accurately. This would require deep meditation however; something that Takeshi had been practicing for god knows how long and today would be the day that he would ascend.

He had found himself at the training ground where it all had started, the only difference was that it wasn’t midnight, it was actually mid day. The training ground had been crawling with people from all walks of life and clans that resided in Dipugakure, some were throwing shuriken at the practice dummies, others were practicing their tree climbing technique and then you had those who were just observing, possibly searching for an apprentice or watching over their students. Takeshi had slowly hovered over to his favorite spot, a warped tree that was situated in the corner of the training ground, and crossed his legs before closing his eyes. Takeshi would take deep breaths as he tried to calm his mind in an attempt to block out the noise around him. The noise surrounding him would slowly begin to fade out and the entire area would fall into nothing but darkness. The entire training ground had faded into oblivion and the only thing that was in the vicinity was him and him alone. “I can feel my chakra growing…” He muttered silently to himself as he felt his own limits going beyond his current state. In theory he was currently at Inkan chakra levels, which was in itself impressive enough, however he didn’t want to settle for Inkan when he could have far greater chakra levels, yes he wanted to be on par with Soulless! With that amount of chakra possibilities were endless and he could finally say he was above the fools that where a part of his team. A single bead of sweat made its way from his forehead to his chin as he could fell his body giving out on him due to the amount of stress that was being placed on it but it was all for the greater good, all for power.  At wits end Takeshi was just bout to give in to the pain that was until it had happened.

His eyes slowly crept open as his concentration had broken but he had achieved what he had desired. “I’ve finally ascended…” Takeshi muttered as he now was at the peak of his chakra capacity. Now his training was now over, until he awakened to Cryptic that is.

Unknown to the group that stood in there discussing their mission and roles during once they arrived in Pandora territory, Takeshi was eavesdropping in the distance. He had heard that some genin had run off to Pandora territory and that the head shinobi had assembled an elite team to retrieve him so that he couldn’t provide Pandora with any valuable information on the Allied Shinobi Nation. From the looks of it, the team had comprised of mostly those who had passed the chunin exams and those who had come into contact with the fugitive at one point or another that was of course except for the two genin that had been drafted. He had found it strange that his own two teammates, Calesto and Liara had been chosen on this mission yet he wasn’t, nor did they inform him that were heading off. He had heard numerous rumors circulating that he was a flight risk and that the other shinobi shouldn’t trust him, in fact he was pretty sure that he had noticed a few hunter nin tailing him wherever he went, so maybe they thought that if he had accompanied them o this mission he himself would end up running off or he might have betrayed them for Pandora. Which was completely farfetched! Why would he want to go back to the place that he was exiled from? Where his parents were killed for the sport of some sadistic Platinum Knight? A soft sigh escaped his lips as he recalled the tragic and timely end of his parents alas they were too trustworthy, in fact he’ll go as far as call them fools. “Tsk, this is pointless.” Takeshi said under his breath as he grew tired of watching the group and decided to leave, he had better things to do.

After a few hours of wandering around, Takeshi had found himself at the training grounds. In truth there hadn’t been anything that he wished to train, in fact he had grown disillusioned with the idea of training and learning new techniques. After all what was the point? Whether he was weak or strong he would be labeled a threat to the village and would constantly be placed under the microscope, subjected to be watched until they gather enough reason to imprison him or worse. Perhaps he was partly at fault since he didn’t have the best of personalities but when he was scorned and ridiculed instead of being spoken to and understood, you can’t blame him for being this way now can you? “If only things were different.” He muttered to himself before finding a tree that had the most shade and laid on the grass, well hovered over it that is. His uncovered blue hue would watch the clouds drift through the sky, while trying to guess the shapes of each. This was something that he frequently did during his short time in Pandora with that one girl he had an interest in, unfortunately she was a Cypher and he was an Entity, so if he had reciprocated his feelings it wouldn’t work out due to their genetic construct, though he wondered what she was up to now? The last time they had spoken to each other she was interested in the Demon of Lust curse mark, so maybe she was currently seducing her way to the top. Fortunately or unfortunately for him, he hadn’t received a curse mark from Pandora. Fortunately because if he had curse mark they probably would’ve hunted him down and killed him that or the shinobi here would conduct tests on him to unlock the secrets of Pandora, which don’t get me wrong even though he had a hatred to what he had gone through in Pandora he would never discuss the structure of the village itself to anyone. Why? Because his clan resided in Pandora and his clan held a special place in his heart, hopefully one day he could be known as one of the greatest members of the Triqueta clan once he finds the rive to actually do something with his life. “Carmen-sama, show me a sign.” He muttered as he felt his eyelids getting heavier by the second. But instead of getting comfortable so he could fall asleep he would spring up and stood on his feet, well hovered on his own two feet. Falling asleep in an open area such as this was a bad idea since he knew that there were people in this village that wished he would be disappear and since he wasn’t at a level where he could actually defend himself it was best that he had headed home to get some rest since he had barriers protecting himself when he was asleep or away.

Luckily for him it didn’t take him few hours to arrive home since the training grounds was a few minutes away from his house.  Takeshi would stop a few meters before his house before making a few quick seals to disable the rule that stopped all races from entering the space that his house was in, though he was pretty sure that no other Entities within the village was as skilled at barrier making and destruction like a Triqeuta, he had to be careful as he held a lot personal and confidential scrolls that he not only brought with him to the village but also documents that he stole. After the rule was undone, he would cast the Takeshi only rule before slipping through the door because of course he was intangible thus things such as a closed door wasn’t an obstacle to him. “This place is a mess.” Takeshi mumbled as his eyes laid upon the mess of papers that was scattered all over the floor in his one room hut. Maybe later he would have his clone clean up the room, since again he couldn’t touch anything. With a sigh he would jump on his bed and closed his eyes. For the past couple of days, he’s had a weird itch in his eyes, hopefully whatever it was it would go away.

The hours were passing by. Day would soon be shifting to night after just a couple more hours turned over. The sky was already golden, but it wasn't like anyone would easily know that. Thick blankets of clouds were in the way of the open space above the land. It made the cemetery of Dipugakure appear dark, which was a fitting theme for the place due to the graves containing the dead. Rolling waves of mist reaching up the knees gave it a horror theme. But, what was there to even be afraid of? The eerie whispers of the wind, or maybe the lack of living bodies that weren't creepy, perhaps. It was definitely one of the locations that so few would like to visit. Those who don't have anyone to talk to, however, might find it perfect. Especially if they lost a loved one. For a Triqueta who had no family to turn to, it was someplace that needed to be visited at least once. It happened years ago, when that Triqueta was still just a child. Back when the father and mother were practically ecstatic about taking care of their first and only child. Their deaths were sudden, and that child couldn't totally grasp the situation. He was far too young, and children at that age had fragile minds. Now, that he was older and taking on the life of a ninja, it was about time he confronted that past that should have been haunting him ruthlessly. For that reason, she was visiting the cemetery to greet his deceased parents' graves. Being entity they really didn’t have a physical body to bury, but instead he had buried some of their belongings so that they could have a final resting place.

Takeshi had often reminisced on the days he was a happy boy, the days when he was back in Pandora within the clan grounds of the Triqueta amongst his people and clansmen. Those were the days. Back then he didn’t have a care in the world, being in Pandora meant that time meant nothing as his parents had stopped again decades ago which made him believe that they would be together forever but boy was he wrong. He always knew Pandora was a dangerous place, especially since it was filled with power hungry criminals and murderers but he never knew that someone in his own family would fall into that category. You see back then, there had been rumors circulating that his aunt and her boyfriend were conspiring against his parents but when she was feigned ignorance about the whole ordeal which led his parents to believe it was nothing but a rumor but they were dead wrong.

One that faithful day when the waxing globous moon illuminated the skies, his parent’s lives were exterminated right before his very eyes by the same woman he had called his aunt. Back then he never understood the meaning of having political power, especially in Pandora and even though she was a Triqueta by birth the curse of the vampire had corrupted her mind to the point where she considered her coven more of her family than her blood relatives, which was pretty sad but absolute corrupts absolutely, that much he knew. What he didn’t know however, was how he managed to escape a clan grounds infested with vampiric creatures out for his head, alas he did and ended up leaving Pandora. He was pretty sure that the Gods knew of his departure but didn’t care too much about hunting him down. Why? Simply because he was nothing but a pampered baby at the time and without knowledge of the inner workings of Pandora or a curse mark from Carmen, he was pretty much useless.

To this day he was unsure how he made it to the Allied Shinobi Nations, more specifically Dipugakure. But he somehow managed to create a new life for himself with the village as he was accepted within the village populace though there were those who disapproved of him being there. It was when he arrived in the Allied Shinobi Nations he knew what the outer world though of his homeland Pandora. They thought Pandora was the home to monsters and freaks and even though the only difference between himself and other entity that resided in the village were his eyes, they viewed him as a monster. At times he found it hard to go out and about within the village as he would be tailed by higher ranking shinobi as if he was up to no good. At first he was saddened by the fact they couldn’t accept him as one of them but over the years he developed a no shits given attitude and distanced himself from others, especially children his age.

Looking back at it now a lot had changed since then. He had managed to graduate from the academy and was now apart of team Mujin and though he didn’t communicate much with his peers, this was probably the first time in a long while he felt a sense of belonging and he was grateful. “Mom, Dad, watch over me as I try to make you proud.” He muttered as his hues narrowed towards the graves that held his “parents.” With the chunin exams coming up in the next few days he had a lot he needed to learn, like his genjutsu and fuinjustu skills but he knew that he wasn’t ready but he would try his best either way, as he was taught that nothing beats a try but a failure and if he was to fail might as well fail in style. Clasping his hands together he would create a flute out of energy and placed said flute to his lips and began playing a somber melody. The eerie music would cause numerous illusions to crawl out of the mist and began roaming the area with no destination in mind, they were just beckoning for their master’s orders.  “Within the truth hides the lie… within the lie hides the truth.” He muttered to himself as he continued playing his melody. He was pretty sure that he was nowhere near ready for what was to come in the near future. But he had no choice but to do his best as he had been caught up in his own demons, but what’s done is done, hopefully the techniques he knew at this current moment in time was enough to help support his team in the exams so that they could end up passing. As for him, he didn’t care whether or not he passed these exams, this was just mainly for experience for when he decided to take the T.J exams, when he was actually prepared of course. With a sigh, he would leave the area and the mist servants and headed home, he had some reading to do.

Only one word could describe the events that led up to this. Embarrassing. It was bad enough that he was barely qualified to a gene, on paper, but joining the chunin exams was a mistake. No one was a better judge of his limits and he knew that if he had joined these exams he would’ve gotten killed. The good thing, however, was that he hadn’t gotten killed but he was utterly useless and was humiliated several times. He had managed to save face during the second round thanks to his barrier techniques but his most monumental fuck up was in the latter part of the exams, the team match. First, he had been easily taken out by the girl whose man was killed by knights of Pandora. Drained of the majority of his chakra and left to surrender as that was his only chance to do so or he would have to go back to his low reserves and after all that meditation there was nowhere he was going through that again. The second battle ended as quickly as it began as he of all people had gotten out done by genjutsu. Oh, how ashamed his family and clan members would’ve been if they were alive and/or around to witness such a thing. The prince of the Triquetra’s out done by a ninja that knew genjutsu. What nonsense. The third match? He, in all honesty, had no recollection of it as by then they had already failed and he was too disheartened to care about what had happened next. It was bad enough that they had gotten their asses handed to them, round after round but the look of disappointment on his team members faces when they lost had hurt him. Not that he really cared about their feelings but knowing that his uselessness was the cause of their grief and anguish was too much to bare. Why was he so weak? He had spent the majority of time reading up on his clan and reading up on seals like Mujin had advised him to. So then why? Was it that he just wasn’t fit to fight? Nonsense. Being a Triquetra meant that he was more than able to stand his own against any opponent in this world. Was it that he hadn’t been fully prepared for the exams? Maybe. He had entered the exams knowing a lot of techniques that weren’t very useful to him or his teammates so that was his downfall. He had always thought of himself as a meticulous person, so how did this happen? He should’ve been adequately prepared for this, so where did it go all wrong? Was it that everyone else was just stronger than he was? Or was it that they had a concrete plan to the path they wanted to take in life and he was just a drifter? The latter seemed to accurately fit him and unfortunately it was too late for him or his teammates to salvage anything from these exams. “I’m sorry… I failed myself and more importantly you guys, I hope you guys can forgive me.” He muttered to himself as he watched the back of his battered, bruised and humiliated teammates while leaving the battle grounds as the worst team from three matches.

Having gotten healed up and gathered back some of his pride back, it was time for them to announce the results of the exams. In truth he wasn’t thrilled to find out the results as he knew that he was most likely at the bottom of that list of people who should get promoted but the others had insisted so he had no choice but to go. Having arrived at the meeting point, Takeshi would hover around at the back as he waited for the results to be read. “As expected. I don’t even know why I bothered showing up to this thing.” Takeshi muttered to himself as he of course wasn’t granted promotion to the next rank. Though he was truly surprised that when Liara was promoted to Chunin. In truth she had deserved promotion as she was more prepared than Calesto and himself. As for Calesto, they were both now in the same boat which he found it a tad bit odd as he was quite strong for his rank, he did end up taking down a Pandora Knight but he was just unlucky it seemed. With Liara a chunin and they were both genin it was time for them to play catchup and with the chunin exams being held every two years, they had two whole years to hone their skills before retaking the exams and that was ample time to get batter and cruise through the next exams. Once they had been dismissed, he and his teammates would leave the area and head home. Having parted ways with his teammates after celebrating Liara’s promotion, Takeshi would make his way home or at least the apartment he had been renting while he was in the land of graves. Not bothering to go into his pockets and pulling out his key, he would just pass through the door and headed straight to bed. The floor in his room was littered with scrolls about sealing techniques and the like which reminded him that it had been a long time since he had been home and slept in his own bed. Well, he would need to get used to not seeing his bed for a while as he had decided it was best for him to start getting prepared as earlier as possible and thus he would begin training and developing techniques as of tomorrow. He was through with all this tomfoolery and ensure that the next time he took an exam he would come out on top. He needed to be perfect, ruthless and dominating. There was no room for error this time and he would be damned if he would subject himself through such humiliation again, he needed to redeem himself and his ancestors. “Well, I should probably get this place cleaned up before I go to bed.” He said to himself before he had started picking the scrolls off the ground, rolling them up carefully and placing them back on the shelf before going to bed.

Though he didn’t end up getting the ball rolling as early as he would’ve like, Takeshi had followed through with his promise to start preparing for the next exams. In the days he would roam the outskirts of the village with Mujin, going on missions and then practicing and perfecting the techniques he already knew. While at nights he would be studying the scrolls he had brought along with him from Pandora and the seals Mujin had provided to him while also developing his own techniques. The first technique he had developed was one that was recommended by Mujin which was a skeletal system for himself. That was quite easy for him since he had already the bone seal engraved into his body. All that was required was for him to use the materia gathered and shape it in the form of a skeleton. With that done all he needed was to use the transformation technique to make it look authentic and it was complete. He was now able to hold physical objects and give the illusion that he was an ordinary person and not an entity. The second of his original techniques were two styles of genjutsu. The first was what he had liked to call Neurohacking. Though weak, it granted him the ability to manipulate most if not all the mental and physical states limits through genjutsu. The second was another style he had called Terroristic Illusion. This was a more straight forward style of illusion that focused on depleting the victim’s sanity. In terms of raw power, it was stronger than Neurohacking as it only focused on one state and not all. All in all, he thought that they were good styles to go with for the time being and hoped they would serve their purpose in the near future. Then again this was his own technique so he was pretty sure that it would all work out in the end. Especially since he already had the right setups in mind for both sets of techniques. With those two already fleshed out, he now needed to figure out how would he approach the elemental seals he planned on getting. He already had the Bone seal as such it was only logical for him to collect all the primary elemental seals. Mujin had advised him that with the seals he would be able to perform elemental based techniques through either additional seals or create elemental energy tech. Both sounded really interesting to be fair so he would definitely explore both options in the near future. The last thing on his list was of course barriers. In truth he had no idea how to approach such a technique due to the fact that he had never had seen a member of his family create barriers before and though he had known the three seal barrier and the five seal version, he still had little experience with barriers. Even so he was pretty sure that he would come up with something eventually, he was a Triquetra after all.
The past two years had been kind to Takeshi, kinder than he would’ve thought. He had decided to not to participate in the chunin exams and instead became a Tokubetsu Jonin instead. Though the Tokubetsu Jonin exams weren’t as easy as he had hoped they would’ve been, they were a lot more straight forward than the Chunin exams and it did help that this time he was actually prepared for the exams this time around. It did also help that his opponents knew nothing about his style and clan which meant that they were easily swept away by his genjutsu and the fact that they had assumed he was an ordinary human thanks to his life release technique. He didn’t spend long there though as he would immediately go for the Hunter Nin exams with Calesto. This had been something Mujin himself had suggested to them as he of course was a hunter nin and even though this wasn’t something he had planned for he went through with it. Though he rarely showed his gratitude towards the man, Mujin had played a big part to him somewhat settling down in these unknown lands. The man was not only a mentor that tried to keep him on the straight and narrow and to be fair if it wasn’t for him, he probably would be somewhere else besides the village. Plus Calesto was completely with the idea so that was plus for him. With his mind firmly set on this task, he had set out to complete the Hunter Nin exams and even though they had run into a few minor hiccups, they were now honorary members of the land of graves Hunter ninja division. It had been two years since the disappointment that was the chunin exams, but with determination and perseverance he and his partner were able to wash push back the pain that was the chunin exams with victory here and though he didn’t show it, he was quite pleased with the fact that his hard work had finally paid off in the long run and now it was up to him to uphold the standards of being a hunter nin and improve on this current skill set to become the best that he could be as this wasn’t the end for the young Triquetra, not for a long shot.

Fast forwarding to the present, Takeshi and Calesto are still a far pace off being the greatest hunter nin that have ever lived but they both had been putting in the hard work to the even better than everyone else. As for Takeshi himself, he had been busy putting together his plans for the future.

A soft sigh escaped his lips the moment the results had been read. In truth he had known that there would’ve been no chance that he would actually been promoted due to his dismal performances during the exams, especially the final battles where he was virtually useless and was the first one taken out in two of the three fights, but he was still hopefully that they would’ve recognized that he had given his best. Wishful thinking, Takeshi thought to himself as his blue hue scanned the area as he watched the those who got promoted celebrated and cheered as he felt as if the ground was about to swallow him whole. What had disappointed him the most was that he was the weak link in his team and that he was largely responsible for their failures, well his and Calesto’s failures as Liara had managed to get promoted. In truth, she worked the hardest of the three so it was well deserved. After offering his congratulations to his teammate and apologizing for his failures to the next, he would follow his teammates to see their sensei who had the usual smile on his face and after a brief meeting with him mainly trying to cheer up the two who had failed they had left and Takeshi had headed home.

It had been weeks since Takeshi had last left his house or his room for that matter. After All, what was the point? He had failed as a Knight of Pandora and now he had failed as a Shinobi of the Allied Shinobi Nations. He was weak, pathetic undeserving to a Triqueta. “Where do I go from here?” Takeshi muttered to himself as the images of his failures kept replaying in his head like a recurring nightmare. It was obvious that he wasn’t fit to be anything combat related which was made painfully obvious in the exams. He wasn’t much of a healer nor did he care to become anything related to medical ninja which left becoming a civilian. But what would his profession be? Maybe he could raise fauna or make weapons for a living and maybe once he’s made enough money he could travel around the world and maybe visit back home. “Jeez, what the fuck am I thinking?” Takeshi said out loud as rolled over and sat up on his bed. It was bad enough that he was humiliated in front of the very people who thought he was nothing but Pandora scum. Initially, he when he had ended up in the Allied Shinobi Nations, he had one thing and one thing only on his mind. To prove to those who doubted him that he was the real deal and that he would show them the true power of the Triqueta and that he would also take back what was rightfully his, his clan. If that was once his dream, what had happened to him? How did he end up feeling sorry for himself? Had he lost track of what he truly desired? Or did he just stopped caring? Either way, now was the perfect time for him to prove his true potential as everyone thought that he was, in fact, a loser and this was where he would prove them wrong.

Takeshi had somehow managed to motivate himself once more and he had decided it was time for him to take up where he had left off. Before the start of the chunin exams, Mujin had recommended that he had learned a couple of useful fuinjutsu that he would end up benefitting from seeing as he his clan were masters of fuinjutsu. The seals in question were the primary elemental seals, Life, Water, Earth, Fire, and Lightning. He had already mastered the life element seal thanks to Mujin, and several hours of practice, and now he was able to combine them with the level one manifest seal to use life release techniques, albeit them being only D rank and lower. Though he had plans on learning the greater manifest seals, what he really needed for the technique he had in mind he had already known. The plan was to create some sort of endoskeleton for himself using said life release. This skeletal system coupled with a modified version of the transformation technique will allow himself to bring forth the illusion that he is of the other races which meant grant him a pseudo physical appearance. Not only that, allow him to hold physical weapons and make physical contact with other objects and persons. With that said, he would grab a piece of sealing paper and began drawing the Bone Seal before forming a series of seals using the little bone materia he had gathered from Muijin and just like that his endoskeleton was born. At the moment it did nothing but stand there, which was a problem as he needed it to be responsive, so he would make a few adjustments to the technique which would grant it the ability to move around freely, which made sense since if they were ever separated, either by force or willingly, it would be able to operate as a separate entity. “Hmm, I wonder.” Takeshi thought out loud as he examined the skeleton bumbling around his room at first then gradually got the hang of moving around before tripping and falling on a scroll then shattering into a million pieces. “And there is where the fault lies.” Takeshi stated as he bent over to pick up the pieces of the skeleton. It was a bit too flimsy, in battle it would get crushed in an instant and that would be wasteful since the point of being separated from the skeleton would be for it to become a distraction. With that said, he would seal the skeleton in once more before redrawing the Bone Seal. This time he would add a few of the other fuinjutsu to the mix to strengthen the skeleton before creating it. Once it was back to life, he would pick up a broom that was made specifically for entity to hold and swung as hard as he could to hit the skeleton. With no strength tiers he hardly could do any damage but the skeleton was able to successfully tank it and not get shattered. “That’s more like it.” Takeshi said before putting the broom back in it’s original place. With that sorted out, it was time he read up on the other seals. He was unsure which to learn first as they all seemed useful as such he would close his eyes and randomly picked on one. “Water it is.” He said to himself after he had opened his eyes to see what he had landed on. To learn the Water Seal, he would have to learn a few other seals specifically so that he could seal in water materia, namely the liquid sealing method. In truth he had knowledge of this seal but thankfully he had books from his clan’s keep and books he had borrowed/stole from the village library. He had taken him a few minutes but he managed to find information on creating the seal. With the information available he would get to work. Pulling out the necessary instruments needed for working with seals, he would find a comfortable spot to lay in and got to work. Much like the first time he had attempted the Bone Seal, it had taken him awhile to combine the liquid seal method along with the water seal. At first he had thought he had managed to master it and such he had tried to seal some water materia Mujin had given him to practice with but instead of getting sealed the paper had gotten soaked and subsequently destroyed. That wouldn’t deter him, however, as he would get to work again and after a few tries he was able to fully master the seal and was also able to seal the water materia inside. “This is amazing.” Takeshi said as he lifted the glowing seal to his face. Now he was successful in mastering two seals, Bone and Water, which made him a couple steps closer to becoming stronger. His main aim was to create a terrifying genjutsu style that only a Triqetua would be strong enough to unleash and combine them with elemental powers to unleash pure mental havoc. There was something else as well. That involves him getting his hands on a summoning, learning sage mode and rasengan but that was an alternative scenario and was something he had dreamt of while being in Pandora. “Damn it’s this late? I need to get some rest for tomorrow!” Takeshi said after noticing at was almost midnight. Takeshi had expressed his desire to become apart of the hunter nin corp as such Mujin said he would take him along the next hunt he had to go to which was ironically the next day he had spoke to him. Filled with anxiety he would get his room cleaned up and headed to bed as he had to get up early in the morning.

It was 5 in the morning when Takeshi had arrived at the rendezvous point hoping to get a few more minutes rest while waiting on Mujin to arrive, but to his surprise his sensei was already there! Seemed to had been for quite some time too. “Am I still dreaming?” Takeshi said with a smirk as he approached the usually tardy Mujin. “You’re always late to team meetings and training so it’s a bit of a shocker to see you here earlier Mujin-sensei.”   Mujin would turn to his student and then gave his usual lazy smile. “Well, catching fugitives are different I have to be on my toes or they’ll escape. Something you’ll come to understand once you become a Hunter Tak-kun.” Not when, if. Takeshi noticed his choice of words and couldn’t help but smile. Mujin had always believed in him and was also been there for him. Much like a father figure he never had and he was grateful. “So what’s the plan? Who are we going for.” Takeshi asked before leaning against a tree. Mujin would take note that Takeshi did seem different but he wouldn’t address it. Not yet anyway. “We’ve had reports that a couple of genin had tried to run off after graduating from the academy, no idea why nor do I care why. As a Hunter Ninja, it’s our job to keep our rogue or want to be rogue shinobis in check and bring them back to the village whether they want to come back willingly or by force. We have to protect our way of living and not allow anyone to trample all over it.” Mujin ended with a serious look on his face. This was a look that Takeshi hadn’t seen before and it was intriguing “Alright then, let’s get going. We don’t want to miss our date with the kids”.  Takeshi said with a smile before moving out.

This probably would’ve been easier and faster if Calesto was here as he was quite the tracker, but Mujin was a jack of all trades so they were able to pick up on the trail of the two kids fast. “These two are ninja both without clans. According to the data I’ve received, the girl’s element is water and the boy’s is water both adept and knowledgeable with their respective elements we should just divide and con-” Before Mujin could finish, however, Takeshi would intervene. “I’ll take them both, I have a few tricks up my sleeve I’d like to try. If it looks like it’s going south you can just end them.” Takeshi said with a look of determination as if he had something to prove to not only himself but to his sensei. Noticing the desire in his eyes Mujin wouldn’t nod his head. “Alright, I’m authorizing you to use deadly force but if there is no need to kill them you don’t have to. Either way look alive they're up close.” Mujin ended as he picked up the chakra signatures of the two ahead.

The boy and the girl were resting up in a cave ahead, planning their next move. The girl was arguing that they should head to Madness as it would make more sense for them to go but the boy was more in favor in heading into the Pandora Empire as they were fairly certain that they wouldn’t be followed there. While they were busy arguing, Takeshi would step out from behind the stalagmite he was hiding behind and called out to them. “Hey guys, instead of Madness or Pandora why not just come back to Graves so we can talk about this.” Takeshi said with a smile as he made his way towards the two. “No thank you, we’ll be living this damn place and you won’t be able to stop us kid. So it’ll be best that you run along before you get hurt.” Jack stated with confidence as he and Jill turned his attention to the newcomer. “He’s kinda cute, too bad this’ll be your grave.” She said giggling at the fact that they were in the land of graves. “You’ll be the ones killed if you don’t come along now,” Takeshi said with a serious look on his face as he stood a few feet away from the kids. They wouldn’t heed his warnings though and Jack would form a flurry of seals before spewing out a massive amount of water as he aimed to fill the cave up. Jill was already prepared as she jumped to the ceiling in preparation for the follow-up. Mujin who was hiding else where would brace himself for the incoming wave to fill the cave up, but Takeshi had other plans. Drawing the Water Seal in the middle of his arm, he would stretch out his palm and all the water the boy had released would be absorbed into the seal. “W-What?” Jack muttered as he was completely baffled at what had just happened so was Jill and even Mujin. “Your water release won’t work her Jack-san, best you give up.” He said as he rubbed his throat. “Don’t underestimate us!” Jill cried as he pushed off the ceiling as she created a greatsword out of life release. Takeshi would smirk as he drew the Bone seal in his left arm and raised it absorbing the bone into the seal. “What the hell?” Jill cried out as Takeshi absorbed the life as well. “Jack let’s do that technique and finish this kid!” Jill said but as turned to look at her brother, she would see him laying on the floor clutching his throat and gasping for air. “You bastard...what did you do?” Jill said as she watched her brother writhe in agony. “Genjutsu that he won’t be able to escape, he’ll either die from a lack of oxygen or go insane. Whichever it is, I don’t really care.” Takeshi stated as he turned his attention to the young girl. Her eyes would widen as the kid wasn’t there anymore, what had taken his place was something much more monstrous. Jill had always had nightmares about monstrosities and one had suddenly taken from right in front of her.  “This..This is genjutsu as well? I know how to get out of this!” She screamed before taking out a kunai and stabbing herself in the hand. The only thing that she had managed to accomplish was hurting herself as the genjutsu wouldn’t end. In fact it would only get worse as both of them would now feel as if they were burning alive. Jack’s screams would echo throughout the entire cavern, while Jill would fall to her knees paralyzed by fear with tears rolling down her cheeks as her brain was unable to process all the pain she was experiencing at once. “How does it feel? Knowing that you’re losing your sanity and there is nothing you can do but hope and pray for the sweet release of death?” Takeshi stated with a rather twisted look on his face as the genjutsu he had created had managed to do just what he had wished to accomplish. Bring terror into the hearts of his enemies. The two would eventually pass out as they were unable to cope with the sheer power of the genjutsu and that’s when Mujin would step out. “That was pretty painful to watch, imagine how they were feeling.” Mujin stated as he collected the unconscious bodies of kids. “Are you okay Tak?” Mujin stated as he looked over to the young lad who seemed to be in a lot of pain. “Yeah, just a bit of recoil damage I got for boosting the genjutsu. I’ll be fine though.” Takeshi said as he rubbed his temple. That seal he had implanted in himself was beneficial but it, of course, had drawbacks. “You did good keep, keep working on those seals and genjutsu and you’ll be a hunter to be reckoned with.” Takeshi was happy with the praise he had received from the person he was so desperate to impress. It also showed that he had managed to improve ever since failing the chunin exams. The next exams were years away but he wasn’t interested. In fact, since he was looking to go to Hunter Nin it would be more fitting to get the Tokubetsu Jonin exams and then go hunter from there and this time he was sure that he wouldn’t fail. “Thanks, let’s go home this place is kinda creepy.” Takeshi said as he made his way out the cave with Mujin.

After their little expedition, Takeshi would head home and threw himself on his bed. It was quite the eventful day to say the least. He was able to try out his techniques he had created and he also was able to gauge himself to see where he needed to improve and how. “This time I won’t fail, mark my words...” Takeshi muttered as he fell asleep.
