| Children InformationOn this site characters are able to pass on their legacy in the form of children, this is possible by PC & PC unions, Prodigy NPC & Prodigy NPC unions and Prodigy NPC & PC unions. Children from said unions always start at the lowest rank possible within any faction (Academy Student/Principales/Apprentice Knight/D-rank Missing Nin/D-rank Bounty/Jun-Kosei-un) and their parents have to be aged appropriately in order to produce them. One can only have children if they are of child-bearing age (Prime), before of after will be incapable of producing children due to lack of maturity and old age respectively. General Rules Concerning Children.- Spoiler:
1. Children are able to interact with any character even those alts that the user controls. Concerning ownership of the child it can be either settle through OOC decisions if the IC couple is still together, IC decisions if the couple split. In addition activity likewise affects children if the other parent is inactive then partial ownership reverts to the parent that is active until the other parent returns. If Both parents are inactive OR One or both parents do not want to rp as a child then ownership can be adopted by another user, if they are not adopted they are permanently reverted to Prodigy NPC's.
2. Time is Divergent however outside of plots it is linear, meaning if you do have a child, the character will have to carry the child for the full term and if no time skips occur then the child becomes a npc while growing up and. One can not simply conceive one day and have a fully grown child the next, it doesn't work like that. All children follow the normal aging process of their parents except if they are Hybrids.
* Human/Nova Hybrids age the same as humans however grow to maturity 1-2 years ahead of schedule, this slows down as they age and they grow old past their prime on 4-5 years behind schedule. Their lifespan is in-between that of a Nova and a Human and girls grow faster than boys. * Human/Zireh Hybrids age the same as Zireh however grow to maturity 4-5 years behind schedule, this eventually speeds up and they grow old past their prime 1-2 years behind schedule. Their lifespan is in-between that of a Human and a Zireh and boys grow faster than girls. * Nova/Zireh Hybrids age the same as Nova however grow to maturity 3 years behind schedule, this eventually stops upon reaching their prime and they remain in it until death. Their lifespan is in-between that of a Nova and a Zireh and both genders age the same.
3. Parent's actions affect their children, and they will belong to the village that both of their parents belong too in the case of village relationships. In the case of Inter-Village relationships due to an alliance children have the option to pick which village they want to belong due as long as the alliance is still kept when they join the academy, once the choice is made however it is permanent but they are welcome in either village. IF the alliance is no longer active they still have the choice to pick if both parents are alive, if not they they go with the living parents, and once they make the choice they will not be welcome in the other village and will be treated like an outsider or a hostile/rouge if they are a member of any of the villages clans.
* Missing Nin Character's Children however will grow up in the host village that their Parents fled from if the missing nin is not in an organization or a member of another village or a missing nin controlled village. However if a union between a missing nin and a village shinobi occurs they go to the village where the village shinobi is located. Note if the missing nin is hated by the general public of that village it will be focused upon their child as well.
4. Children generally are of the same class as their parents if they are within the same faction. They can choose to be a different class than their parents if it is a result of a Same Race union allowing them to start as one of the three classes of that race. In the case of Hybrid unions the child is allowed to pick One of the 6 classes from either of their parent's races if they wish to start with a different class.
Note: When re-classing a child they do not gain any benefits from being born from their parents other than character development and a traceable lineage.
5. In order to produce children from a union, your character must have an existing relationship with a PC or Prodigy NPC be it romantic, friendly, antagonistic. This relationship must extend to over 10 topics with that particular individual before they become a viable option. Rarely this can be bypassed in situations of drunken escapades, rape, death wishes, artificial insemination and things of that nature. In addition all of these must be done IC including the act of copulation itself, vague detail, fade to black or explicit detail can be used however please indicate such topics with an M rating.
